Makoto just gave Arin a nod in greeting, but stayed quiet like usual.

Suddenly, not even three feet from the Doctor and the others, a person just appeared out of nowhere. It was a guy who seemed to be about 17 or 18 years old. He looked around. "Another world to save...this should be fun. It'll be good to be away from Erinn for awhile," he mumbled to himself.

Aaron sighed. He had left a special dagger behind that was part of a set that allowed him to, as long as he was holding one of the two daggers, listen to anything that happened near it. He made both daggers vanish then tucked his book away before getting back inside.

Aaron had been the first one out of the auditorium, and the first place he went was that he climbed up to the roof to get away from everyone, and pulled out a book he had with him and started to read. He didn't like to be around people he didn't know...that much was obvious.

James looked at him and chuckled. "Okay. But, unlike most people who can supposedly tell fortunes, I actually have powers with it. For me, the cards' pictures can become inverted. So I can do a true fortune telling," he said. "So my cards will tell your true fortune."

Chase nodded, and her eyes flashed a brighter gold for awhile. For a moment, so did James eyes. Then it was done. The Golden Empress grinned. "I don't know why your brother placed that seal on you, but I imagine he'll be pretty pissed once he finds out it's gone," said Chase. Just like Reina, however, she added her own changes to his seal. "One thing: I've refrained from removing some of your abilities. Some where had to inevitably be destroyed, and all of the remaining ones have gotten weaker, but I imagine that you won't particularly care now, will you? Anyway, those that remain are abilities that are now completely your own: yours to use and abuse."

James smiled. "Thank you." He pulled out a deck of tarot cards, and he quickly looked through them before grinning. "Good. They're all here." He looked at Chase. "I promise to keep my end of the deal," he said. Of course, the tarot cards he was holding not only had the normal cards, but also had the extra cards that were in the Thoth tarot.

Chase grinned, glad that he had agreed. "Very nice! Now, here's my request: I want you to support Meruin, to the best of your ability and in any way you can, but keep it a secret from her. That girl may be a bit introverted and refrains from talking too much, but she has a lot of pride. Anyway, is it that you want me to destroy? You have to be specific as possible; you already know how my abilities work, and even if I can identify yours without even looking at them, I don't know how many exactly you have."

James nodded. "Well, I need you to destroy a seal that was placed directly on my soul. It was a seal created from Dark Matter, so it defies all laws of reality, just like Dark Matter itself does. It's a seal made to completely seal one person's abilities, while imbuing them with a different set of abilities. It's one of the forbidden seals."
