"Ah, so he used one of the...extra...hand signs that nobody really uses. Normally those aren't useable in a fight because you either have to bend and twist your fingers in painful ways or they're slow to make and hard to memorize so many seals," James said, looking at Bane. "He probably used one of the village-specific ones, kind of like how Kirigakure has that weird stance they use for their Hidden Mist Jutsu."
"Don't worry. She was over in the doorway so you didn't even notice her," James said. "And you know that my cleansing seal even gets rid of genjutsu and other seals, so you should be fine after this. Well, seals like the ones used for Jinchuuriki aren't affected, but still."
James shrugged. "Meh...nothing serious. I've had worse just from training." He looked at him. "Why would you want to die though?"

Of course, when he felt Lex scanning him, Naruto channeled a small amount of the Kyuubi's chakra, but instead of the filtered kind, he channeled it along with all the hate and bloodlust that he used to feel, which would definitely short out the scanning abilities of Lex's suit.
James looked at Bane. "Feeling better now?" he asked. "You were thrashing around while my medical cleansing seal was working."
James sighed and made a smaller, simpler seal out of his chakra on Bane's forehead. It was a relaxation seal, with a weak painkiller seal mixed in, to help Bane settle down.
James nodded. "Yeah. Because it clears out anything that affects him negatively, whether it's other seals, or even something as small as the flu."
"It could be possible. That masked ninja didn't seem to want to hurt him so someone could have done this to him beforehand and the masked ninja just unknowingly caused it to wake. Hm...hang on." He pulled out a storage scroll and unsealed a bottle of ink and a brush, before starting to draw a seal on Bane's chest, after moving his necklace out of the way. When he was done he put a little bit of chakra into the seal and the seal started to work to get rid of any foreign contaminants, either physical or mental.
