"In fact, he became the most powerful being ever to walk the face of the earth, succumbing to the darkness he sought to destroy. He became immortal, with the only thing able to kill him being his former weapon, which was destroyed during his battle with the last of the Lords of Shadow, so he is now truly unable to die."

Alucard said, "Do you know what happened to the knight after he defeated the Lords of Shadow?" He knew that very few actually knew what had happened to Gabriel after he defeated the Lords of Shadow, since the Brotherhood had erased it from their records. He led her through the kitchen to another elevator, which just looked like a large cage with a lever in it.

Alucard knew that his father's actions of destroying the Lords of Shadow were legendary now, and everyone also presumed that Dracula was dead. So, nobody would think that Dracula was living in the castle. He glanced at Beatrice before starting to walk, leading her through the kitchen, the little creatures that were in there just watching them from their hiding places. "Have you heard of the story of the knight that was tricked by the brotherhood into fighting the Lords of Shadow?" he asked her.

"I was originally coming here to get help from one of the only beings that the Brotherhood has never been able to truly defeat, but I the brotherhood chasing you," Alucard said. "And I knew you would need help, because there are many dangerous creatures in this castle." The elevator reached the kitchen, and Alucard stepped out. "If you wish to survive in this castle, then follow me. I am going to see the castle's master anyway." He couldn't tell her that he is the son of Dracula. Not yet, anyways. It was common knowledge that this used to be the Bernhard family's castle, but most people did not know that Dracula currently resided here.

James pulled out his .50 caliber pistol, and he followed Jacob and Chantelle. He shot at Jacob, trying to hit him in the shoulder once he caught up,, knowing that if it hit, there'd be a good bit of damage done to Jacob's shoulder, considering it was a .50 caliber magnum revolver.

"My name is Alucard," he said while the elevator rose. Considering he'd followed her a bit of a ways through the castle before he'd had to save her, this was probably the elevator up to the kitchen, which was at least safer than the main hallway where all the zombies and the giant possessed suits of armor were.

The Masamune simply vanished as Alucard started to walk towards what seemed to be an elevator, which probably seemed pretty strange in a castle as old as this one. "This way," he said, stepping inside. He waited for her to step in the elevator before pulling the lever, which caused the doors on both sides of the elevator to close and it started its ascent.

Alucard looked at her. "You should be more careful...there are even more dangerous creatures if you get closer to the throne room." He didn't bother answering her question, because he was planning on leaving anyways, after helping her get out of the castle. He turned and slashed one of the giant bats that tried to attack him. "Follow me. I can lead you to a safer place."
