Bio

Alright Soooo here it is,
I'm an old man (post 30's) who has been at the RP game since I was in Middle School. Happily Married and a huge Nerd. My main interests for RP's and such are Medieval Realistic Fantasy, As in no one person wielding a massive 200 lb weapon in one hand or going way over the top with crazy 25 hit combos in the air. I like things to play out as they would normally of course with magic, magic is always fun. I also like Futuristic Space (Star Wars, Mass Effect, and almost anything involving some sort of Mech). I work a crap ton and cant really get into a real post every day but I do try. If you think you got something I might like hit me up.

Yeah, no problem
Sarah gave a chuckle at Witz's answer. "Classified military tech being given away as a gift for proving yourself. Kinda funny that the world fell that far" Sarah responded back before turning to Jack. "How about you? what was your world like? This place pulls people from lots of different worlds and if you might have some usable information in the future." She asked starting to probe trying to get any information she could from her "allies" while she had the chance.
Lyn was almost happy when Gaignun stopped the caravan, the constant bickering and merrymaking was starting to get on her nerves. But what happened next wasn't exactly what Lyn would of expected, the beast Gaignun moved to help the boy who appeared from the woods before the beasts burst out. Lyn's focus instantly snapped to the beasts and it was clear from Gaingnun's first strike that this would not be a simple fight. She watched as one of the beasts attempted to circle around the group. She pulled on her reigns to charge the beast.

The creature Tamotsu had the beast's attention as Lyn approached, giving Lyn a perfect opportunity to attack. She charged forward weapon in hand, but instead of attacking with her Naginata Lyn raised up her left hand. "Stone Tortoise First Skill: Stone Shell!" she yelled as a stone shell starts to form in front of her and her horse. The shell slammed into the creature and the impact nearly knocked Lyn from her horse but the impact would throw the beast off balance.

"Hit it now! before it can recover!" She yelled out hoping one of the team would take advantage of the slight opening she created.
Hey CG just a little heads up. Lyn's actual comment about Oni was made before the group meet up and would of been made well out of earshot of any Oni.
Just going to put it out there, I'm totally not going to be that silent leave me alone part. Everyone is just a bit occupied at the moment and a person that used to hunt stay Oni wouldn't really go out of her way to interrupt/interact groups of Oni on their first day meeting.

Also Oni be prepared for some smart ass remarks. She might have a little bit of trust issues :)
"Meeting with a group of Oni at a pig farm in the middle of nowhere?" Lyn said out loud to herself to hear if it sounded as crazy as she had thought. And she was right it sounded crazy, insane in fact it sounded like a trap. She would spend the next few hours of her journey trying to convince her master to turn back and not fall into this ploy. But determined to see out his duty they pressed on. Her arrival at the pig farm didn't put her at ease in any way.

From a quick glance it was easy to tell this Hakumei squad was made up of a majority of Oni, almost as if the humans had been an afterthought. The two leaders of the squad gave their speeches, Kotori's seeming uneasy but as a warrior she was known for her strength, not her moving speeches, and Gaignun's "Speech" if you could call it that was exactly what she expected from an Oni, bellows of a beast of war meant to terrify one's opponent. After the leaders had had their talks the group was on its way.

Lyn sat upon her Chestnut colored horse staying a few steps behind Yoshitsune watching the group, studying. She had fought many Oni in her time, but Lyn never really took the time to stop and talk to them before ending their existence. Starting from the obvious choice there was Gaignun a massive monster of a beast for lack of a better word, it was clear this one would be quite a fight if she was forced to try and put this thing down. Next was the Elf Hisaya whom of the group seemed the most human of the Oni, but she was still an Oni and Lyn didn't really have an idea of what she would be capable of if push came to shove. Then there was the flaming swordsman, Tatsuji, he too seemed human and his aura was close to that of one. perhaps this one had been a human at one point, maybe even with a chance of redemption. The next Oni almost passed for a human Geisha, but her aura and her flaunting of her control over water clearly gave it away. This one would be physically weak and if needed Lyn was sure she could put that one down if she was able to get in close enough. The final one was some shadow creature and for all Lyn tried she couldn't think of a good way to counter this beast aside from its natural enemy of light. This creature worried Lyn, if things were to go wrong it was very likely this creature would be able to finish off the small human group before they even knew what hit them.

Lyn sat there thinking to herself, she wasn't exactly leaking killing intent, but it was clear she was cautious and a bit uneasy around the Oni. She listened to the conversations noticing that even the Oni were trying to be nice to the humans in a way, more like playing with ones food, but she was still cautious her Naginata beside her watching for any attack that might be made on her master.

Bio: The small village of Seki buried deep in The Ittoki Pearls is the ancestral home of the of the Saito Clan and the Spirit Hunters. The mountainous terrain is perfect for training the mind as well as the body, and it is a prime location to hunt rare and powerful beasts for Spirit Hunters. This was the world Lyn was born into, and she hated it. Lyn was born the only daughter of one of the branch families and even from a young age she was thought that her only use in life would to get close to the main families heir and try to empower her family through marriage. This thought never set well with Lyn, in fact it down right infuriated her.

Lyn was determined to change her fate and began to train herself. Unannounced to her family Lyn sought a master from within the Clan, one of the Elders that would teach the Spirit Hunters of the next generation. Luckily the young girl was able to find a master that would not only train her, but would also keep her training secret from her family, Master Shan. Master Shan was a kind lady who understood Lyn's dream, and she saw talent in the young girl, talent that would go to waste if the girl had only been groomed to be a wife. So at the age of 12 Lyn took her first steps to becoming a Spirit Hunter.

The next six years pushed Lyn to her limits and broke them. Determined the young girl's progress was amazing, she could easily beat other students her age given the chance. But Master Shan's training was no walk in the park even for a natural. Lyn had many times where she had to fight for her life during the training, more so than any normal student would have to go through, and by the age of 18 Lyn was ready to show her progress. A hunt had been arranged by the head family for their heir Mitsuhide to obtain his first Spirit, their prey a Dire Frost Wolf. Lyn heard of this hunt and knew the perfect way to show her power.

Lyn followed the group in their hunt for a few days until she was able to find a trail to track the beast. As soon as she had her thread Lyn was off. The lone hunter was easily able to maneuver and track far better than the group that now followed her allowing Lyn to find the Dire Wolf's lair well before Mitsuhide. This was both a blessing and a curse as Lyn would soon find out she didn't find the lair on her own accord, the wolf had lured her there. Alone Lyn faced off against three frost wolves and the dire frost wolf in a bloody fight in which she almost lost. Standing the victor Lyn didn't waste any time, she immediately started the spirit ritual to absorb the Dire Frost Wolf's spirit.

Her first time was something that could not be explained with words it was amazing, yet painful it was like being torn to shreds just to be put back together again and when she awoke from the meditative trance her life began anew. Instantly she noticed that her sense of smell and hearing had been amplified, and something was coming. Lyn instantly shot up and turned, Before her stood Mitsuhide and his hunting party. Enraged that the girl had taken his kill Mitsuhide charged Lyn. The fight was over quickly Lyn was far to powerful for the boy and she was unable to control herself as her blade cleaved him in two. The remainder of the hunting party fled and to tired to chase them Lyn knew what would happen.

She returned to her village a few days later expecting the worst. She was to be put to death for slaying the heir to the family "in cold blood", but luckily Master Shan was able to convince the elders that Lyn was to good of a spirit hunter to waste. After agreeing to a demonstration of her abilities the elders of the clan agreed with Shan's words and instead of putting Lyn to the sword they exiled her. Never to see her home or family again.

Lyn left Seki that day and headed to the Empire. For the next five months she wandered as a Ronin helping out villagers in need while looking for a place to call home. It wasn't until she was on the hunt for a Demonic Oni that she would find exactly what she had been searching for. After assisting the Heir to the Kujitsawa clan defeat the Oni she was offered a position within their ranks. Impressed by the Young Lord's presence and fighting skills Lyn accepted the position. In the nearly six years since that time Lyn has become a strong warrior in the Kujirsawa Clan and has even been made the personal bodyguard to the Young Lord, Yoshitsune, and will follow him into hell if need be to ensure his protection.
