@Aspen Wren I'd liks to point out that your description ofa druid is more akin to a dryad. A druid is a magic user attuned to nature(not just plants, but also animals and sometimes forces of nature), while a dryad is specifically a tree spirit, and would far more closely fit your description. Therefore, it might be advantageous to alter the name of the species accordingly, especially since no one has chosen that species yet.
I knew there was something off but I just couldn't put my finger on it! Wrong D word apparently. Though they aren't exactly tree spirits, more advanced plants who guard the forests and all who dwell there animals included.
