There might be a few very small insects crawling around on the elevator or ship, but given the areas are fairly small and void of sufficient nutrition for a population calling it home, there won't be many for very long. Nikki and Micheal are free to have some on their person, however.

Anything unnatural to the world.

Unlike in the X-Men of the marvel universe, these characters have developed their powers by inexplicable ways, as opposed to being the result of a genetic mutation. As such, just about anything could occur; ghosts included.

In the stellar station, Cormac would be pulled aside to inspect his various items. Things meant to inherently kill someone would be removed. Other questionable items would be moved into non carry-on.
