Warframes can make you either an Earth Systems Alliance spec ops, or a mercenary that stole/bought it from someone. Feel free to make a preview profile here.

Also, I might have a second setting later on. So you might want to be prepared to make an extra character later on.

I've created this crossover universe that I'd really like to roleplay with some people (see links up top). You don't have to have played all the games on the lists, but a basic understanding of the mass effect and halo timelines help.

I want to keep this a bit short for the sake of keeping interest. 1, maybe 2 missions for this roleplay. I originally wanted to start this RP at 2537 and play a few arcs until 2552. By 2552, main events in the main games were supposed to occur (Halo Covenant war ending, Reaper war begin, Dead Space cult rises, ect.). But since most RPs don't last more than an arc, I'd like to do a single spin off story I had in mind that takes place in 2546.

The date is 2546: the event is equivalent to the Skylian blitz in Mass Effect. For those of you who don't know, the Skylian blitz in Mass Effect is an event in history where a human colony was attacked by mercenaries and pirates. These raiders worked together to attack the colony and kidnap several humans and subjugate them into slavery. In the game, the humans rallied together and were able to fend off the attack by the time reinforcements arrive. But in a world were pirates can be superhuman, androids, or Sith, can the Earthling colony fend them off this time? Could reinforcements arrive? How many people will they kidnap this time?

Yes, your character can range from a colony cop or mercenary pirate. Use as many characters as you'd like and feel free to kill them off or add more anytime.

If you need help with navigation in the timeline or guide, press ctrl + F to search for any specific games or game terms you're looking for.
Scenario: you wake up in a prison cell. Maybe you've had powers for a long time, maybe you find out you have them after waking up. You're in a prison cell with 4 other people. You don't know how or why you're there. You only know where you were before you woke up. Make up a character for this scenario!
I have a bit of a series idea in my head. I haven't RP'd in awhile, but is anyone interested in a super powered prison escape? The rules are that you're all trying to escape a prison, you all have powers, and I'm trying to "eliminate" all of you. I have factions in mind to try to eliminate, capture, or save you guys. None of you will know who's side they're all on, these factions fight each other while squarely focused on what they want to do with you guys.

Anyone intrested?
I kinda don't want Halo to predate Mass Effect. Half the fun is seeing the Mass Effect factions interact with the UNSC and Covenant. Plus, several sources have told me that Covenant/Forerunner technology surpasses Mass Effect/Reaper warfare technology.

Reapers rely heavily on fighting species that rely on Mass Effect technology, something that they exclusively adapt themselves with. Kinetic barriers which the Reapers use aren't adapted against plasma technology which the Covenant have. The UNSC even had MAC canons. If you remember in mass effect 2 we find the derelict reaper that had been disabled by a " mass accelerator round of incredible speed and power " some 37 million years earlier. Now when I hear "mass accelerator round of incredible speed " my mind goes straight to the UNSC Orbital defense grids. So even Halo UNSC technology outpaces Mass Effect technology.

Slipspace technology is like Mass Relay technology without the need of Mass Relays.

I can also go into detail how UNSC and Covenant ships are bigger and have better defenses than all the ships in Mass Effect. The Victory Fleet in ME3 had about 120 dreadnoughts and was able to keep the Reaper Armada at least occupied. Every single frigate in the UNSC outguns an ME dreadnought by a factor of 2-3. And every Covenant frigate outguns a UNSC frigate by another factor of 2-3. Halo technology far outpaces Mass Effect technology.
As for how I planned to play this, I was thinking that each player have complete control of a single government faction. (Systems alliance, UNSC, Citadel Council, Helghast Empire, Covenant.) Each person with their faction uses characters to move the story in a certain direction. We can all have several characters as well as control over as many mercenaries or unaligned characters as we'd like. PMing each other to add our own twists and alliances is encouraged.
@ActRaiserTheReturned

Sorry dude, but I strictly limit this universe to video game scenarios. Opening up to movie/show franchises would overwhelm the gaming aspects to this. I only included AVP because the video games don't overwhelm the rest of the timeline.

@TheUnknowable I'd like to add Portal and Half-life too but I'm never sure which date to put those events in. I also haven't played the games, so I'm a bit unaware what they'll add to the universe.

Assassins creed is vaguely included in the timeline, I think I need to add abstergo/Templars to the miscellaneous factions (or did Mass Effect's Cerberus descend from Abstergo?)
I just skimmed it, but there are a few problems with it. For example, at one point it say that in 2525 the human population reached 30 billion, but at another it says that the population of Earth is 5 billion and the population of it colonies is 1 billion. Wouldn't that mean that 5/6 of the human population doesn't live on Earth or its colonies?

Also:

"Conduits are oppressed by the Mars Alliance and Helghast empire. By 2525, however, earth and E.D.N. hold large conduit populations. On E.D.N. III, forty percent of the population outside the Helghast territory is conduit. Sixty percent of earth's total population is Conduit. The number is high probably due to the fact that interracial marriage is highly romanticized by artists and story writers." and "2525: Human-Covenant war. Covenant discovers and claims war on the Council. All ties between the Council and the Mars Alliance are broken. (HALO/KILLZONE/MASS EFFECT/)"

So, humans go to war with the Covenant, but they use no conduits or Helgast troops?

Whoops, I guess I should elaborate a bit more. I'll be sure to edit the original content:

Mars Alliance Population is 30 billion, not all of humanity itself. Planet Earth population is 5 billion, Earth is a part of the Systems alliance, not the Mars Alliance.

The 2525 event is written poorly. The Mars alliance and Systems alliance claim war against the Covenant, and the Helghast and Mars Alliance never use conduits within their ranks. I'll be sure to fix that, sorry about that.
Expressing interest although I will admit I'm a bit confused

How so?

I've created this crossover universe that I'd really like to roleplay with some people (see links up top).

I have a story outline for how I'd like this story to play out. STORY SPOILER HERE:

Something important to know is that the story will follow through to course several years. The first year starting at 2537, the missions around this time is to give a basic understanding of the universe we'll be playing with. 2546 will have a few missions meant to introduce your REAL MAIN characters (unless you plan on using a character that can stay in good shape after a lot of years). While 2549 the main stories from the original video games will take place.

Make up your own character if you'd like, but here are some "Main" characters you can reserve for the second arc:

It's alright if you haven't played all the games on this list (because I sure haven't). But you probably do need to have a good understanding of the Halo and Mass Effect universe, the rest can be understood by the lore guide that I created.
