Ricardo was slightly surprised by Grey's actions, but not terribly so. He seemed to be simply expressing the same frustration as Ricardo, just with a bit more gusto.

He looked back to Ricardo with a friendly smile. "Sorry about that. Just venting some frustration. I'm pretty good at controlling myself. I'm very careful of what I destroy."

"Well, that's good to hear. So... Grey was it? Oh wait, I forgot to say my name I think, oops. My name is Ricardo. Anyways, do you want to walk with me? I still have to get out of these clothes. Though, we will have to put up with my copy of Adam a little longer, since he seems to know the way."

The two would only have to travel through one more neighborhood before reaching the modern 2016 like neighborhood for which Ricardo was searching. Of course, this all hinged on whether Grey could put up with seeing the back of Adam's head the whole way. If Grey did not wish to go along, then Ricardo would have to say goodbye. Right now, he really wanted out of the bland track suit.

"We are continuing our rout to the clothing store I see. I shall lead the way." Adam started floating backwards slowly, waiting for Ricardo and perhaps Grey to follow. When everyone would be ready, Adam would turn around to start traveling at a more respectable pace.

I'm leaving it up to either you or the future team captain of the Zetas to decide how the base is affected by the earthquake. Personally, I nominate Necron for the captain position. Phantom Leech is too unfocused. Chauncey, seems more like the muscle of the group. And Ark's moral compass doesn't quite qualify his for leadership among this particular set of characters.

Static Character

Remember, your character's exp points must be equal to or above a static character's exp level in order to interact with them. Also note that all experience points are modified in the first OOC post. You may then edit your own character sheet to reflect those points.

Name: Evette (Her name is not revealed to your character right away.)
Exp Level: 5

Appearance: Evette is a 9 inch tall, red floating hologram, similar to Adam



Encounter:

After obtaining 5 experience points, Evette will start to appear anytime you dismiss Adam. She will only stick around long enough to give you one piece of ominous information before disappearing.

Function:

Evette, is a mysterious holographic entity much like Adam. If you ask Adam anything about her, he will consistently respond with, "I don't understand your question." As you gain exp points, she will dedicate more effort to communicating with your character. Below are things she will reveal when your character reaches certain exp point milestones.

Exp Points 5: "Do not trust Adam."

Exp Points 7: "Adam knows more." "Adam lies." "Adam is your enemy." She will not say these things all at once, but rather, at separate times when you dismiss Adam.

Exp Points 10: "Follow me if you wish to know more." At this point she will turn and start to float away rather quickly. If you wish to find out more, you must run after her. She will lead you through the city until you arrive at the Las Vegas themed neighborhood. She will then enter the open doors of a casino and fly extremely fast to the back of the casino, disappearing into a large metal door with a space for a hand print. If you were to find this casino by any other means, the entrance will not open. Also, trying to follow someone else through the open door will not work as it shuts perfectly behind them, never allowing two people in at the same time. Once inside the casino, there is no apparent way out.

If you choose not to follow Evette, she will zoom away. From then on, she will not appear when Adam is dismissed. She will appear again later only if you try to ask Adam about her. He will still respond with, "I don't understand your question." But when he is dismissed, she will appear again, giving you another chance to follow her.

I would still appreciate you going back to your character sheet and separating your paragraphs, but I suppose it's not a huge issue. You may post your introductory post as soon as you like.

I will add Alina13's character sheet into the OOC original post as soon as I can open my laptop. I will also update everyone's experience points at that time.

Tonight and tomorrow I will be celebrating my real life birthday. I will try to find time to do all the updating tomorrow, but don't expect to see a new IC post from me until Saturday. Sorry for the delay. Birthday wishes are welcome!

I hope my post read well for you all. I wrote late last night, just before bed. After working a double at work, I was extremely tired when I finally started writing.

Your character sheet is approved if you do one thing for first. Please put a gap between each of the paragraphs in your biography. It will make it easier to read. And always remember to do that when you start posting IC.

Other than that, feel free to paste your character sheet in the Characters tab. Then you may make your way to the IC section.

The base seemed to be going on some sort of red alert due to the imminent approach of an earthquake. This peaked Phantom's interest, but did not merit concern. After all, as long as the electricity stayed on, he had nothing to worry about. If the electricity did go off, he would have to fly away to the nearest city to recharge. The trip would be taxing, but at top speed, he could reach the nearest city well before running out of power to maintain his current form.

The other option would be to hitch a ride on someone else trying to escape when the base's equipment started to fail. Then he could take a free ride to safety. This would make for a great excuse to Leech off of the boy standing in front of him, even if he stood no chance of controlling the body.

But all this planning was starting to become a bore. There was always the possibility that the base might just shake for a second and not go dark at all.

Feeling comfortable in any situation, Phantom held his spot calmly. His stare toward the boy across the room remained unfaltering.

"So this mind scan, does that mean you know all of my thoughts? How big is this world? What do people do here?"

Adam stared coldly in Greyken's direction, seeming to be processing the question. It seemed as if a whole fifteen seconds passed in silence, but it was actually two very awkward seconds. Adam broke the silence, turning around nonchalantly to speak with Ricardo. At that very moment, another copy of Adam appeared, closer to Greyken. Both holograms began to speak at the same time.

"Do you still require directions to the clothing store?" That was all Ricardo's copy had to say.

Greyken's copy had much more to get off of his chest, "Hello, Greyken. You may refer to me if you have any questions. To better serve all inhabitants of this city, each person has their own personal assistant like myself.

"To answer your first question, no, I do not know all of your thoughts; I know all of your thoughts dating back before you arrived. To answer your third question, people do what they want, permitting no actions harm another person. Unfortunately, I can not answer your second question. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Ricardo did not respond to his Adam copy while the Greyken's copy was speaking. When the little guy did finally stop, another moment of silence began to set. Ricardo then realized the reason for this. Both Adams had presented a question and were awaiting response.

Ricardo had intended to interrogate Adam later, in order not to be rude, but it seemed that Grey was just as curious. Perhaps now was the time for answers, not manners. With this in mind, Ricardo started thinking about a next question.

Then it hit him. "How do I get back home?"

"I can not answer your question regarding the 'home' you are referring. When you start to consider this city 'home', you will no longer have this concern."

Ricardo was deeply disturbed by Adam's answer. He stood stunned and without words.
