Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Does this town have a gym?? I know it focus mostly on the lab, but there is no mention of a gym so I am unsure, it does affect what Liz does in my post.

There is no gym in Yanso Town. The next gym is in (Town #4)
@Cerces22

Liz can either continue to wander around the boat, or she can arrive in the next town in your next post. Whenever you do land in the next town, it will be almost sunset.
Liz wondered the ship as it crossed the beautiful water. She walked up to the nose of the ship wishing she had got a fishing rod. She saw a gentleman alone staring at the water. She didn't usually talk to people but something told her that this gentleman was knowledgeable. She leaned on the rail a small ways off and turned to the man.

"Hello, I am Liz, I am a trainer on her first adventure, how are you today??" She said to the man.

The man seemed rather unremarkable in appearance, but it soon became evident that he had a unique personality quirk. He liked to talk, and at length. More than that, he was a huge perv. He went on and on about the beautiful Professor Rica, and her physically stunning body. It was no wonder he was standing alone. The average person probably wouldn't be able to stand any more than two minutes of conversation with him.

@balthazar007

If it makes it easier you can control Liz for the convo ^.^

I don't necessarily have to do that. I have other ways. You'll see in a second.
Liz wondered the pier for a bit, wishing she had enough to buy a fishing rod, sadly she needed money for pokeballs and had just enough to cross the river on the ferry. She looked at her new badge one last time unbelieving that she had won. Now to work her way to the next gym, she found the ferry that was next to leave and walked up to buy a ticket. She shelled out the money for the ticket and boarded the little ship.

"Time to get going, let's take an other gym!!" She said to herself.

The happy boarding attendant accepted Liz's money and gave her a temporary pass. On board the ship, Liz could see people from all walks of life. Families, elderly, and even young trainers like herself.

Everyone seemed to have found someone to talk with, everyone except for a lonely looking fellow that stood at the nose of the deck. Onward, he looked out to the sea. If Liz felt like talking, this would be the person to do so with.

"Sheesh, that felt dumb, never doing that again. Anyways thank you for the badge. And Lisa, your a very strong trainer, I wouldn't be surprised if you owned this gym one day. But until that time, remember we are tied at one win each, next we meet we will have a tie breaker ok?? Just don't expect me to be so easy to defeat, and I want your all got it?? By the way,
a fellow trainer named Rin will stop by here one day, don't go easy on then understand??"
Liz bowed one more time and stopped at the Pokemon center to have her Pokemon taken care of. While she waited she ran to the pokemart and bought three great balls, and two more pokeballs, just to be safe.

After she was done shopping she picked up her Pokemon and decided that Rin wasn't coming after all. She sighed inwardly, disappointed that her rival didn't show up. Liz turned with a dramatic flick of her hair and head towards Route four.

Liz left the main parts of Sunsay Town and arrived at the docks of Route 4. There were many merchant ships loading and unloading at the north end while passengers boarded ships on the South end. Alive and busy, that was the only way to describe this mid day scene.

Just north of all this madness though, Liz would be able to find a nice beach. This is the common spot for trainers to hop on their Pokemon and attempt to navigate these fast waters using Waterfall.

Opps posted that in wrong spot ^.^ thought I was in OOC lmao

It's all good. Alright. I'm going to log off (maybe for the rest of the day OR maybe just for the next 5 hours or so).

I'll respond to posts when I get back. :)
Lisa stood no chance against Liz's improved team!! Hephaestus had a rough go against her Qwilfish, and was defeated fairly fast. Liz than decided to bring out her power house Chloris and took out Lisa's first pokemon with a massive blow. She responded with Snorunt, who was poisoned by Chloris before Liz switched to Arachne. After a couple of infestations and being poisoned, Snorunt fell before the onslaught. Next was Lisa's power house, whom in the last battle decimated all of Liz's pokemon, Heracross. It seemed like the Pokemon was going to try it again and smacked down poor Arachne. But with Phoniks now stronger than the first time, Liz knew she had that badge. The Murkrow pecked away at the big bug, and before she knew it, she had won!! The little girl recalled her last pokemon, looking defiantly at Liz.

"It was a good battle, I just improved a ton!! Now where is my badge if you don't mind??" She asked Lisa.

Lisa was baffled at how much Liz had improved over such a short amount of time. She didn't want to admit it, but she was begging to look up to her competitor (not just literally anymore). She would never say as much out loud though.

"So what you beat me!? I'm just a kid you meanie! There are people much stronger than me that come to this gym." Lisa stuck out her tongue and pulled down an eye lid.

"Now now Lisa. Show some respect for our visitor." It was the man from the back of the gym. "I'm sorry, please forgive my daughter. She is a handful, but we love having her around here. Please, take this." The man handed Liz a simple yellow badge.

"That is the Sunsay badge. With that badge, you can now train at the Sunsay gym as much as you like. Lisa did make a point, there are lots of strong trainers here for you to battle against. Also, that badge is one of the seven badges you'll need to collect if you want to challenge the Grandium League Champion... Now that you have a badge, you'll have to earn your next one against a higher ranked member, when you find the next gym. I believe the closest gym to this location is in (Town #2). Do you have any questions? Or have I already bored you to death?" His smile was very genuine.

Liz woke up early in the morning, today was the day, she was getting her first badge. She ate a good breakfast of pancakes and bacon, changed her clothes to feel fresh and finally some shoes. She made her hair was at least presentable and when she was happy, she walked over to the gym. She walked into the building with an abundance of drama.

"Where is the midget?? I want my rematch!!" She said to the people working there.

It was another busy morning at the Sunsay gym. Trainers were battling their hearts out. At the back of the gym an intimidating man watched over everything. When Liz bursted through the doors, most people didn't pay any mind. The large man in the back did take notice though, if only for a second.

"Hey ugly!" The little girl known as Lisa had heard her call. "Are you ready for another beating?"
