@Polyphemus Well ive been searching for some time for a game that would let you essentially play as part of a very influential family and have to solve the various problems posed to the family as a whole.

I have gained through reading an understanding of the kinds of hurdles kings and nobles have to jump through, also an understanding of intelligence gathering. However i was even mulling over starting a game based on it, but i think i might make a much better player than a GM.

So basically a game which could be a mafia family or some other kind of noble family, preferably set in the modern world.
Ah, i'd be interested in playing a mafia game, but it would need to be more widely focussed than just at the wedding.
Oh WOW.

This is really good. But im intimidated by its advanced status.
@Banzai Tracers
Just so I know who are you in the discord?

Im Ace.
I like this idea.

Ive always wanted to wield powers and discover a new world... the one drawback, is i cant stand being in the middle ages. I cant stand being trapped in that time period.

I'd like a game that could start a completely new timeline. One thats advanced but not necessarily futuristic. The basis for all of our technologies today is electricity and atoms. If magic were to exist then whatever magical particle it uses would become the basis of technology.

I very much like the idea of being in a guild.

A pict of Sententias' main hive, hive Tarsus.

"Please see the information tab for more details."

Where? Its hard to generate a character with no idea of the technology constraints.
Oh these are just some of my past regiments. I wasnt going to play the Auxilai. For this game im going to be creating a new one.

Would you be opposed to a really specialised arm of the Cadians?

Nevermind i'll just make them a regiment that triest to copy some parts of the Cadian structure.
I sure do love making up custom regiments! I'd love to be in this game. In many ways, i was made of it!

Here is a brief on some of the regiments ive created and played in the past just to get the creative juices flowing.

1.) Skal "Sundogs" PDF, ultra violent Australians that come from a hot planet where the equator is unliveable and they live at the poles near giant lakes. The planet has both carbon and crystal based life forms. They are a light infantry regiment focussing on mobility through the desert savana. Their main weapon is a full las-rifle but their armour is light flack, they also have a chainsaw bayonet for it. Their training is harsh as they have to be the cream of the crop to become a guardsman on their planet, otherwise the manpower is diverted by the governor towards profit. Their every day training basically involves just hitting thins all day long; wooden planks, eachother using kickboxing, etc. Their basic training involves spending 2 weeks out in the desert, they are already a frontier world but they specialise even more in the field craft. This is what allows them to move quickly over impassable areas and flank the enemy. Their heavy weapons are long barrel flamer and multi laser.

2.) 41st Siderial Anti-Armour. A trench fighting regiment that was recruited as a favour to they rogue trader Augustus Eldawyrd. They are professional and even have a storm trooper detachment. Their heavy weapons are; missile launcher with inferno missiles, and heavy stubber. They are a hive world anti tank regiment, that likes to use missile launchers. Known to employ inferno missiles to clear enemies out of structures by starting fires. Each guardsmen is also equipped with two hotshot las packs, these can be used against heavy infantry and can even be recharged. With the recruitment into a rogue traders personal army, they have been issued desert survival gear, though they are most at home in a hive city. An unusual adaptation of the Sidereal guardsmen is keen hearing which they use to detect approaching vehicles. This is only bolstered by the fact their commander likes to lead from the front, instilling in them the rapid reaction that could further deprive the enemy of a surprise attack. While they will be taken a long way from their home and resupply of fresh troops, they remain optimistic that the rogue trader will lead them to victory and that they will be able to actually retire and raise families in his domain.

3.) 44th Targon "Purebloods", a Blood Angel Auxilia guard force. They are gland warriors.

Yes, i'll have a think of a few things for the Chapter Background and my own.

But i dont want to simply produce a complete Chapter dossier like a one man show. I think we should all make a small piece and cooperate and share in the building until it comes together like a jigsaw puzzle.
