Bio

I am a Roleplayer with an interest in science fiction and fantasy, with a preference for Casual. I have been roleplaying for several years, and have even taken a stab at running a few RPs.

Outside the Guild, I am an Australian science student, gamer, musician and roleplayer (that's right, IRL too).

Also the current format of the postcount and join date could be better, maybe something like: Posts 9999 Member since 11/11/1999
That not being that way is intentional. You may or may not be aware of this, but a little over a year ago the Guild crashed and everything was lost, so everyone had to start again (with the Guild reopening 408 days ago). As such, everyone had to reregister. However, this means that there would be many people who had been around in the community for much longer than 408 days, for well before the Guildfall. So saying that they only joined 408 days ago and that those are the only posted they made would be misleading. The current format respects that many people have been around for much longer than the current database. If you do want to see a person's join date, it is recorded in their profile (accessed by clicking their username).

Oh, and regards to coding, my last part that was shilled to me (required for my computer to function) was broken. So I'll try to load the system into my older device, which may or may not be able to handle it, while I wait for the new shipment.
When building my computer, I sourced my parts from a place which I could drive to and arranged to pick them up in person. Saves on postage costs and on stress waiting for postage. That's something possibly worth looking in to in future. Back on topic, I don't have a whole host of tags, but I have figured out one to suggest.
  • Villain (players can play as the 'bad guys' rather than the 'heroes')
<Snipped quote by BBeast> I used forest instead of jungle because it's been awhile. Yeah, we are in the jungle. And I will rewrite my post. The spiders don't go into towns, they go around it and look for outsiders or travelers. And the area around the crypt will be webbed and two spiderettes will be hanging around. Yes, in the jungle.
OK. Just wanted to make sure we were all clear. @KabenSaal, sorry for picking on grammar, but in your latest post, in every instance where you should have wrote "were", you wrote "where" instead.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious> So, do you want me to post Emily getting in there and realizing that everyone is a spirit before you get involved? I don't want to go to far with your city, after all.
Well, I think the first thing you might notice is that everyone (or almost everyone) is a golem, not a flesh and blood human.
Might need to look over my post BBeast, hopefully I did it right but I may have done it wrong.
Unless you are living in a small, dense forest which is not the Jungle on the map, then I'm not sure you fully grasp where you've set up home (and I'm pretty sure you're in the Jungle- there are few other safe places for large creatures which prey on humans). The Jungle is relatively large and already densely populated with dangerous creatures including the Dragon Riders. Any towns marked on the map are quite large, although you will find villages every kilometer/mile or two out on the plains. Due to its danger, you won't get travelers wandering around the Jungle. You will be able to find logging camps and logging teams, though (although they're equipped to put up at least some fight against any jungle beasts). Although, if I have mistaken you and you are living in a small forest in the middle of the plains and not the Jungle, then disregard the last paragraph.

<Snipped quote by Mahz> Well, the link in this thread just links back to the thread itself, instead of the actual article link posted.
The raw-text of that link, for reference:
[Url] http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url]
When I hover over it, the url given is the same as the url I am on. Try below: http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/? However, I can see some errors in the BBCode. If we try this instead...
[url]http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url]
http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/? As that now works, the problem was simply incorrect BBCode. Note the lack of a space in the corrected url vs the space in front of the url in the faulty link. The whitespace clearly causes the link to be parsed incorrectly and thus it reverts to the current page.
Well, technically, none of the Keepers here (in their current forms, anyway) were played back in the RP where we destroyed Outremar (out of the people here, only Cavalier, Cyclone and myself were players then). However, don't let this get in the way of the Lore of your Keepers.

A limitation of "x posts to graduate" is that someone could spam out posts and graduate, in which case they'll have privileges until they are caught out, at which point it may be too late. Of course, I'm sure you have already considered that. How about a minimum time AND post requirement (not just OR)? This means participating members of the community who have been around some time would be promoted. Of course, you'd include your more sophisticated factors too.

OK. Then we can work it out from there.
@Cale Tucker, I have a question. Is your Keeper a native of Cyprus? From your description it appears so. That's fine, I'm just confirming.

Latest push: - Roleplays remember which page you were last viewing on each tab:
I just popped over here to say I noticed that. That's a nice feature.
