Elsbeth looked at her hand, saw the mark but felt no pain. Then she heard Diva's voice and listened. ''Thanks Diva'' she whispered. ''Oh.. And that already happened, something with politely showing who is entering the kingdom to the king and queen'' she whispered. She then looked at Sashia. ''Sashia.. Get behind me, I am gonna cast a spell this will take away the shadows from the birds so they can flee.. The birds I mean, we must search for shadows with Bronze, Silver and Gold eyes.. Those are the leaders'' she said and Sashia nodded.

Elsbeth started up her spell and when she casted it, she blew it over all the birds. Almost like she was blowing fairydust. It worked and the shadows left the body's of the birds. ''Sashia, tell them to leave'' Elsbeth said and Sashia played on her flute. Elsbeth then saw something happen to the shadows, they hated the music as it sounded light, lovely and was filled with love. ''Sashia? Please.. Keep playing'' Elsbeth said and Sashia looked at the shadows while playing. She nodded and kept playing. The birds left, and Elsbeth started to slay some shadows. She had slayed five normal once and then got eye in eye with the bronze one. ''I am not afraid of you'' she said and casted a new spell, she burned the shadow and then split it in two and then once more so it laid on the ground in four pieces. Then Elsbeth looked around and saw the silver eyed, close to Sashia. ''Sashia!!!'' she called out. The princess turned around and suddenly had a sword with special shield in her hand. ''It was hidden in the flute'' Elsbeth whispered. Sashia smiled some and looked at the sword like she saw it for the first time. Elsbeth smiled and then looked around. ''Where could the gold eye be?'' she asked. ''The roc is the Silver eyed..'' Sashia said. Elsbeth nodded and tried to remember what her mother always had told her.

Robyn looked at Vanessa as she was sipping from her tea and then at Gabriel. ''I don't know Gab.. I prefer to stay here.. Plus, they are also searching for you on every known hiding spot.. Once they were done with that, they will come here too'' She said. ''Or do you think that if someone wakes up and don't see you on your spot, we just go back to sleep after last time?'' the young girl asked with a raised eyes brow. She then took a sip from her tea and at that moment someone knocked on the door.

Vanessa got up, she walked to the door but before openeing she looked at Gabriel. ''Who is there?'' she first asked and saw how releaved he looked when Conrad said: ''It's us.. Is Gabriel here?''. Vanessa opened the door and smiled. ''Good evening guys, come in'' she said and more she didn't have to say. The guys walked into the apartment and looked, a little worried, at Gabriel. ''Did those dogs attack you again?'' one of them asked, Vanessa didn't know who it exactly was but she closed the door and now locked it. ''Hey, unlock that'' Robyn said. ''I didn't lock it to keep you guys inside.. I lock it because Gabriel wants me too, he was scared that some guys called the 'Up Town' pack will attack me..'' Vanessa said and walked to the kitchen, she got some extra cups. ''I don't know if I have enough tea for all of you but please, accepts the cups? I would like to see you all warm.. The way you guys deserve to live'' she said and gave them all a cup, half filled with tea. ''I'll make some more tea'' she said and walked back to the kitchen. She looked behind herself and smiled. ''Ehm... Take a seat somewhere.. If I am right, I have enough seats for all of us'' she said.

''Gabriel.. Stop worrying about you making me, my house or my items in it dirty.. I do not care about it'' Vanessa said. ''So take the blanket, I have another one and I do not want you to get cold or sick'' she said and now placed the blanket over him. ''Oh, and you are most welcome to stay here.. You are such a nice guy'' she said with a smile as she looked at him. She was still standing in front of him as she suddenly heard someone knock on the door.

''Gabriel?'' a female voice said. It was Robyn. ''Gabriel, are you here?'' she asked. ''Door is open!'' Vanessa said and Robyn walked in. ''Oh good.. We were afraid that you were attacked or something'' the girl said. ''He is fine.. Don't worry'' Vanessa said. ''I am not that good of trust Miss'' Robyn said. ''I understand.. I am gonna make some tea.. Feel free to call out for the others too'' Vanessa said as she filled a kettle with water and putted it on the gas.

Marcus nodded on his question of when he had taken Vanessa she would be his true Alpha female. ''Yes, she will.. She is for 75% already.. And I must say, you couldn't have chosen better.. She is a good girl'' he said. ''Her lung problem isn't because of your blood.. And it didn't heal her because her own blood fought yours, it made her more sick and took some extra time for her to heal but her lungs is because she hit that tree'' his uncle said, he spoke that soft that only Xaven would hear it. He looked away when Xaven rubbed in his face what he had done. ''Okay, I am sorry... But you made it and you guys have grown a lot..'' he said. Vanessa smiled, she took Xaven's hand and intertwined their fingers. ''Come on.. We are gonna eat and after that... I have something to tell to my three, now favorite, trespassers'' she said with a grin and a wink.

Inside the house, in the living room Lesley looked at Drake and raised a brow. When he asked her if she wanted to jump him, and all the other things. ''I rather think that you wanna jump me, but I am not that easily to conquer.. I got it that Vanessa promised you to let you meet with her friends from college and too bad for..'' she paused a second and pushed a pillow against Drake's chest. ''You, that I am the only one left.'' Lesley said with a grin. ''But you must do better to deserve even a slight kiss on your cheek than acting clumsy and blaming me'' she said and now was very close to him. When Vanessa walked in with Xaven and Marcus, she looked up. ''Vanessa! You really hooked me up with the biggest flirt of all three'' she said. ''I didn't do anything! Drake always been a flirt, he is good at it and it's fun to see.. Ralphie is like my little brother so if your gonna try for him Lesley, you better watch out with hurting or I must feed you to the bears'' Vanessa said but the girls hugged and giggled.

Marcus placed the bag with meat on the counter in the kitchen, which was completely connected to the living room. ''I mostly took meat along with me.. What about a BBQ?'' he asked. ''Good idea'' Vanessa said, she still was a bit short towards him and she walked outside and grabbed the keys from the little garden house. Ralph followed her to help her with placing the grill on a good place. ''Hey Lesley! Go look in the truck for our swimsuits.. I am not gonna sit here near a pool in my normal clothes.. Way to dangerous with those guys'' Vanessa said and right after that Ralphie pushed her in the pool, with a scream from joy Vanessa fell in and once back at the surface she looked at Ralphie. ''Your gonna pay for that boy'' she said. She climbed out and shook her head, Ralphie had in that time placed the grill on the right place. Vanessa walked to the door and looked at Xaven. ''Could you maybe.. please, fetch me a towel?'' she asked him with a smile.

After her talk with Gabriel, Vanessa went home, made something to eat and then got herself settled on her small couch with a cup of tea and a dvd. It was some movie she had seen already too many times but it was the only one she had here. Yet she didn't mind it, she liked the movie even after watching it a hundred times.

Once it had ended, Vanessa had drunk three cups of tea and she got up to make herself ready for bed. She hit the sheets and closed her eyes yet couldn't sleep at first. Something told her that she wasn't alone. She looked on her clock and it was 11 PM. She listened to the rain falling and felt how she slowly started to fall asleep.

Vanessa was a sleep when Gabriel walked into her apartment, yet tonight she slept light and when he closed the door and lit up her table lamp. She sat up. ''Gabriel?'' she asked. She was wearing a proper pajama so she got out of bed, took the blanket with her against the cold and opened her bedroom door. There he sat. ''Gabriel'' she said and smiled. She walked into the room. ''Where are the others?'' she asked and sat down next to him. ''Oh well.. I don't mind it.'' she then said and offered him some of her blanket.

My idea for this world is that the leader shadow isn't in the Roc, which they thought but in the smallest bird around them.

So this world will teach both of them, but mostly Elsbeth, that you don't have to be big to be a leader and that sometimes being smaller, is better.
