She has constantly aided and advised him of what he should do as well as provided knowledge of the Under dark that would help him grow in power.
Astiroth sighed as he neared the village of Lemhard. It wasn't the fact that is was crawling with undead, or even that he would most likely get into a conflict. It was the fact that he had to keep walking. Hunting for the he or turned tyrant wasn't an easy task. While the tyrant was learning and gaining power, the only thing Astiroth could do was search for him.
As Astirother neared the village, he made sure he was in human form. He didn't want to spook any survivors. They had already witnessed hell in the slaughter of their friends and family...that is...if there were any survivors.
He took note out the amount of undead that filled the village. "Well I'd rather not at the moment." He turned his gaze toward the rooftops. He walked into the closest building and climbed to the roof.
Heven had a much better view of the village and what remained of its inhabitants. "I'll just use the rooftops to reach the center." Astir other said as he began trying to navigate the rooftops.

This leads these demons to be extremely powerful in physical ability andattributes but leaves them lacking in variability of attacks and skills. Personality: Astiroth only ever cared for one individual who was killed by the 'hero', now he cares for nothing. Whether it be the lives of men, women, or children, he does not care and will slaughter them all without a thought. He only has hatred for one individual, the 'hero'. Allignment: Technically evil but he does not care for who he works for or with Class: Samurai/Monk Equipment: Astiroth wields two swords, one sword that is a abyss katana, a sword born from the very abyss demons are spawned from. Only demons who were royal guard were allowed to carry such weapons. They have the uncanny ability to negate magic if it were to try to block magic attacks. The other sword is named praenuntius. This sword was previously wielded by the demon lord who was slain. Moments before the Demon Lords death,as Astiroth watched the one he sworn to protect die,he was given the sword in hopes that one day it would pierce the heart of the hero. This weapon is nothing more than a handle. However, when it is wielded, it takes the shape of a weapon that suits the wielder. It has a very powerful demonic aura but sealed away to prevent the knowledge of its existence. Astiroth is currently trying to find out how to undo the seal but do to his lack of manifested power, he fears he will never wield it. He wears a necklace that allows him to take human form though this does not hide his demonic aura from holy figures trained to sense it. Other than that, he wears armor fit for his role of being a royal guard of the demon lord who is now dead. While he armor is strong and sturdy, its joints are key weak spots that lack plating and would make a key target in an attack. He also wears ring that limits his power and prevents him from having a rampage. If the ring were to be removed, he would slowly gain back his power though it would take a week to return to full strength.

Equipment: Eye of Ilsensine: A powerful staff with a giant eye. This staff boosts psionic abilities and has a mental link with the weilder. This staff can see all around preventing the weilder from ever being flanked as they are granted full knowledge of their surroundings.
Surgical equipment. Being an Illithid, there is nothing he enjoys more than experimenting on captives and turning them into illithid hybrids that are loyal to him. This also includes sword sized scalpels that he uses in combat.
Powers: Psionic abilities that allow him to dominate the minds of others, open dimensional portals, telekinesis, physical augmentation, psionic communication capable of forming a hive mind, perfect memory, can extract memories from minds, read minds, can see perfectly in complete darkness, can use psonic energy to temporarily manifest armor and weaponry(though he can make it permanent if given a day to solely focus on it, and can create psionic barriers to block attacks. The body of an Illithid is very resistant to magic. It is resistant to such a degree that even the lich ritual can not fully convert their bodies. This also means he can't cast it.
History:
His history before meeting with Sven is unknown. Serving under Sven, Masrith took a different approach to confronting Sven. While many offered Sven powerful magic an artifacts, Masrith offered nothing more than his intelligence and stated the benefits would come after. Whie Sven was held to be an intelligent individual, there were other tasks he would be busy with and thus gave Masrith a chance. Through Masrith, Sven noticed a strategic advancement and various new creatures to serve him due to experimentation. Sven had actually begun to hold Masrith in high regard. One day however, Sven found out about Masriths mastery of the mind and stated that this was a secret he wanted to hold. Masrith, using this as a bargaining chip, would show and unlock the powerful secrets of the mind if Sven would allow Masrith access to Sven personal collection of books and forbidden texts.
Sven, knowing that this knowledge would grant Masrith the knowledge to create and explore new artifacts and various creatures, allowed this. Throughout his history, many have grown uneasy of Masrith due to his experimentation and curious nature, often making loud statements of wanting to dissect various allies. Sven grew a distaste for this and sought to get rid of Masrith. After Masrith was pulled to the side, Sven decided to do something else, he would use Masrith intelligence to create contingency plans to go against his allies, the first plan Masrith had to do was himself as Sven saw Masriths gifted intelligence as a threat. Since then, Masrith has proved completely loyal to Sven and is a key player in infiltration and information gathering.
Contingency plan:
Defeating Masrith is not an easy task, as his intelligence allows him to qickly analyse most situations and his various studies in all subjects makes him extremely adaptable. The first thing that must be done is to shield your mind. If you can't defend yourself from Masriths mental attacks then the fight is lost before he is even in eyesight. While it is difficult, there are artifact created against the psionic abilities of an Illithid. After this, the next step would be severing the connection to his personal group. Masrith has a powerful mental link with his allies and group. Severing this link is crucial as it allows Masrith to effortlessly communicate essential informtionto allow his squad to easily adapt strategic planning and adjusting accordingly. The key in this would actually be putting the artifact on Masrith. This would severe his connection and cause complete disarray to his unit. One must act quickly however as Masrith will immediately seek to dispose this issue. After this and the group it taken care of, it all comes down to personal action. One must be capable of out thinking Masriths logical mind and various psionic abilities.

Tzakandi: 4 of them
Highly aggressive fighters. These creatures are the result of lizard folk being converted to Illithids. These creatures posses psionic abilites in communication and physical augmentation. They stand 6'7 and are physically powerful. They posses keen senses and physical attributes being strong and fierce. They are expert climbers and can spit acid 3 times a day. However, they are rather predictable in strategy but under the guide of Masrith, are tactical geniuses.
Changelings: 2 of them
These creatures are key to information gathering. While Masrith has dominated many pawns, these creatures are for extremely valuable areas. Being highly intelligent and nearly undetectable. Their clothing is very special. After molting around a body, the clothing molts into the clothing the body was wearing. copying it perfectly. These creatures spend weeks analyzing their targets. In short notice. They will kidnap the target and have Masrith psionically transfer their memories to the changeling allowing an nearly perfect replica of personal mannerisms. While Masrith has 2 with him at all times, these creatures are deployed in various key areas and positions. These creatures are extremely agile and surprisingly durable but physically weak and rely on a toxin they can breathe to knock out their targets and kidnap them. There is actually very easy way to tell them apart if you now what to look for but I guess you wont know until we come across one.
