You're speaking my language. :D I didn't expect interst so quickly! Ahem. Anyways. About speed. I'm not going to be lightning fast myself. I do the bulk of my writing on weekends. I'm usually too exhausted from work to do anything but sleep on the weekdays. When I get more people here, we'll find out what's best for everyone.

Okay, so I'm trying this one again. Last time it feel through, but this time I'm gonna attack it with a better view in mind.

The Title says it all. I want to do a Wheel of Time RP. From what I gathered a lot of people who were interested last time never finished the book series. Therefore I thought it was best to base it in the past. And because of that I'm not going to hold everyone to events in the past that have to happen. Jordan himself once said no one really knows what happened accurately. So you guys don't all have to crack open a WoT history book and study. (I've already done most of it myself)

Time Period? I'm leaning more towards the Reign of Artur Hawking. Most if not nearly all the records of those times were destroyed. The most reliable records of that time period were in the hands of the Aes Sedai who, after events, were not really friendly with Hawking's falling Empire. Because of this I think there's enough wiggle room we can pretty much do whatever we'd like.

The other time I believe that would be best is the time of the Trolloc Wars.

However there would be some major events that would need to be planned into game play no matter which route we choose.

Acceptable characters? This was the most discussed and worried over last time. A lot of people thought everyone would be Aes Sedai and be OP. I have to say, at this point I'm not going to limit who characters can be. Nor their power levels. I trust you to be able to create a dynamic character set without me ordering people around. If that changes, I'll cross that hurdle when I get there. Typical characters can be:

• Aes Sedai (Women or Men. If you choose to be a male channler know you will die terribly and the Aes Sedai will come after you to kill/gentle you.)
• Warders (If there is an Aes Sedai you can ask that player if they wouldn't mind if you could play their Warder)
• Ta'veren (Are also acceptable and desired)
• Any other character you'd so desire (Kings down to a shepherd)

Casual or Advanced? I'm still debating on wither I should put this in casual or advanced. I guess it all depends on how serious you'd like to be about it. Though no matter what level, I still except certain things from you. Mainly to be able to form cohesive sentences, ideas and plots. To add to what's already been done. To engage in the OOC with relevant discussion about the story (when called for- there's a time and place for everything) and not to completely hijack the plot with nonsense. And since this has become an issue. If you don't like it, leave. No one's forcing you to stay. If I'm not meeting your ideals, again, feel free to leave.

Before I get the IC/OOC going I want a bit of interest. I also need a co-gm. I've tried GM'ing on my own and I've decided I don't like it. So if I don't get someone willing to be my Co-GM, this wont go up. (Just so everyone knows... and if that happens, ok, I'll try again at a later point)

Spoilers: I've read all the books, so I can't really say I can keep this thread (or any subesquent threads) clear of spoilers. However I can promise that I will personally put those spoilers I know are spoilers behind hider tags. I cannot make anyone else do so, however I would advise it unless everyone that joins says they have read all the books.

Full name: Corbin Favrin Weade Titles: None yet Social rank: Noble Job or societal position: Soldier/ Captain Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Corbin is a fierce individual. He has very strong opinions and rarely hesitates to tell other people. The only people he watches his mouth around is his father, mother, and the Duke (or now Gregar for the time being.) He strongly believes in the right to rule through arms and strength. He one day hopes to help the overthrow the Ironhills and become the Duke there. While growing up Corbin got into loads of trouble, often dragging in his little brother too. The two didn't often get along, but then they did they were little hellions. Corbin always knew he wanted to be a warrior like his father. As soon as he was able to hold a sword his father began training him. He feels that he's one of the best swordsmen around and doesn't hesitate to fight people stronger than him to prove it. Corbin isn't as loyal as his father to the Duke's line. However his ambition isn't set upon the Whitelands, but further south. He actually hopes the King might one day recognize him and give unto him one of the King's daughters. And the title of Duke of course. Skills: Fighting, brawling, drinking and "sporting". Dreams and fears: Corbin dreams of being a Duke and a very important man to the King. He fears old age. Corbin brushed the stallion that bore his cousin. The horse was still skittish, but it was to be expected. Most horses didn't like the sent of blood. Then there were the war horses like this one got antsy at the smell. War horses were quite vicious. The young man sighed and leaned against the horse. The stallion barely wavered as he shifted his balance. Corbin ached. His thoughts swirled mainly around Gregar and how he was faring. He had seen men die from lesser wound. It was only by God's grace that his cousin hadn't bleed to death on the journey. The rest of Corbin's thought were to the betrayal. Was the King apart of it? Or just their Sargent? They had expected the Ironhills to make some play, but to have men from the Whitelands help them? That was nigh unbelievable. Corbin groaned as he peeled himself off the horse, patting the stallion to sooth him. "It's going to be alright." He told the horse, but was trying to convince himself. Even if Gregar lived their lives had just because so much more complicated. They couldn't rush back to their homes without finding out if the King had a hand in their betrayal. Likewise that they needed to find the traitor. The two of them alone would surely fail. They needed help. And they needed to trust whomever it was. Sadly the latter was something neither of them could take the time to afford. Corbin patted the stallion once last time before he left the stables. He swayed slightly as he walked, exhausted from the trials, but he couldn't rest until he was sure Gregar would be fine. He had expected to find his cousin in best resting and not wandering around. He told his cousin as much, but willing went with him to see the duke. He had to bite his tongue as he watched Gregar hobble. Determination was well and good until it got you killed. The young man waited patiently as Gregar spoke to the Duke about receiving aid.
