Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

Also, I just discovered DMC and now I'm Dante trash.

Nahuatl, for the first time since he had been run out of his city, began to feel alright. The cocky grin across his lips became less bluster and more confidence. His light blue eyes spotted the moment he had hooked the girl. The Doll hadn't moved and that was what sealed it. Nahuatl had won this little charade.

"Why? Why?" He mimicked, not caring that it might anger her. "Because my simple bandit, I am your answer. You need me." He looked pointedly at the doll stick perched on his chest. "Now remove your puppet or lose it." Nahuatl wasn't going to put up with the doll on him any longer. If she refused to move it, well a word of power would at least set it on fire. No one ever said Nahuatl was patient, even when it was necessary. He had put up with this charade long enough. And quite frankly he knew he could do just as much damage to her as she could to him before he went down. Not that he planned to go down. Not yet.
I am. And thankfully I'm all caught up so I have free time again :)
Well, I was out sick all last week and today's the first time I've gotten around to posting. :) Therefore, no apology necessary.
Delia squatted on the sidewalk, clutching her purse. She knew she was prone to over dramatics. But sometimes she even make herself roll her eyes at herself after the fact. Just because she had a panic attack when she tried to leave this roach infested cesspit didn't mean she was stuck here. Delia stood up and forced herself to get over it. Or she tried to anyways. The lightheadedness was probably just a side effect of whatever roofies she had been given.

I thought you were leaving.

Delia nearly jumped as she heard a voice from behind her. She turned, still clutching her purse to see the girl from earlier. Delia's face grew bright red. The girl had probably watched the whole scene with Delia acting like a loon. Or a hobbit, crouching then getting back up, shaking her head. At least she didn't slap her cheeks.

"I...uh..." Delia scrambled for words, any words to say. But nothing came. At least nothing that would help her not look like a crazy person. For example: Sure, I was leaving but I think the motel has eaten my soul. Or even, Maybe I love the motel because I just had a panic attack when I tried to leave? Who even gets panic attacks now days? Crazy people. That's who.

Delia tried to grab her anger at the girl from earlier, but she could only just babble unintelligently. Until she shut her mouth before she made it worse. Delia turned her head away and sniffled. She scrubbed at her eyes in horror. She was NOT going to cry. She wasn't. Because that's what a basket case would do. When Katherine woke up in a strange place and knew something terrible had happened she took action*. She didn't sniffle like a five year old who had scraped a knee.

Delia whipped her head back to the brown headed girl. "I am. I apparently just needed a moment. Aren't you going?" The mental image of being five again had given her strength enough to not be so damn pathetic.

Courtney, A.K.A. Stargirl

Courtney didn't revise her opinion much as more people filed in after her. The noise level rose and rose. People talking right over one another. Mainly the speedster who was harassing the teen in black and blue. Courtney really needed to learn names. Name would be nice.

---staff is certainly impressive looking. Do you use it to fight?

Courtney turned, her face beginning to flush red. She offered a small smile. She hadn't realized she was being talked to. Until she heard the word staff and looked. She recognized the girl from news posts. She tried to dredge up a name but failed. Courtney hadn't gotten into the superhero business because she liked said supers. She did it to annoy her step-father. And maybe to prove something to herself once she kept going. Then once her step-father stepped in and tried to stop her, well, lets just say there was no way in Hell Courtney was giving up the uniform.

"Uh, yeah." Courtney said un-originally. She fingered the golden rod and smiled for real this time. "It's both offensive and defensive. It's pretty cool. Name's Courtney. You?"

---

Courtney winced slightly as the teen in black and blue whistled sharply. Everyone quieted down quickly to let him speak. Courtney assumed that he must be the one in charge. She wondered if that was because he was affiliated with Batman.

Alright all new recruits line up please.

Courtney shuffled to a new spot and stood there awkwardly. Though she tried to disguise it as disinterest. After all she didn't want to be here. Yet she didn't like looking like a fool. Something some of these kids seemed to take delight in. One everyone was standing in semi-order and looking at the leader there was a pause. A long pause. Courtney snuffled again wondering what was going to happen next. (If anything.)

Then the bombshell dropped. Everyone was being saddled with unwanted kids. At least Courtney wasn't the only one who didn't want this to happen. Then Nightwing, as he called himself, was nice enough to introduce everyone. Courtney tried to place all names with faces, knowing she was probably going to forget at least a few. Followed by an introduction. Courtney leaned on her rod with a sigh and tuned him out. Good looking or not she didn't care. Not that there was much information in what he was saying. Poor guy didn't know anymore than she did. Courtney couldn't help the small snort of laughter at the thought.

Any questions so far?

Courtney mentally asked: "Sure, when can I go home?" But all she did was roll her eyes. Mary was totally going to flip her top when she heard about this. Of course the small grey kid burst out angrily again. Wind him up and watch him go. Courtney thought. Like some sort of demented energizer bunny from Hell. At least if this was going to be a disaster and she had to stick around, it was going to be interesting.
I'll get a post up tomorrow some time!

I second this motion.
I'm really sorry I haven't gotten around to posting. I was sick this entire week past, then when I felt better I had to do all the chores I was neglecting. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a reply up to you after work tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding.

Courtney, A.K.A. Stargirl

B-Zero-Nine

An oddly feminine computer voice echoed throughout the area as Courtney stepped into the Watchtower. She hadn't been here before, but she had heard of it. On any other occasion she would have been thrilled to be standing among legends. But not today. Today she was meeting her new babysitters. Because her step-father didn't believe she was responsible. It was bad enough that he followed her around but this? This was the pits. She was Seventeen! Not twelve. She knew how to take care of herself. Once she finished school she has plans to move out. Watch the step-father of the year follow her then.

Courtney stepped off to the side as the computer began announcing the next arrival. The only reason she was here, having agreed was because of her mother. Courtney had a giant SUCKER tattooed onto her forehead when it came to her. That and Jack Knight, one of few people she honestly respected thought it would be good for her. She folded her arms and looked over the the assembled group. Everyone was talking all at once, except for the leaguers. They were standing there stoic and calm. Everyone else fought to be heard.

It was, a disaster. A complete and total disaster. Courtney mentally took a bet about how long the team would last. Probably not even a day. Not that you could all them a team. The teen snorted. Well, once whatever this was crashed and burned she could go back to being solo. She rubbed her cosmic staff and smiled.
Go ahead and post him in the character section. And remember to ditch all the hiders.

I might get the first post up today, but don't cross your fingers. I have a plot, Durandal can attest to that. But being busy puts a kink into things.
