Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

Surin Sadi sipped her tea delicately. She had arrived earlier after she received a letter from Galliana. The two had been inseparable even though they had chosen separate Ajahs. Surin placed her tea cup down as Aranya walked into Galliana's room. The young green sister had a brave face on. No matter that she was now Aes Sedai, she still had bad habits from being an accepted to get over.

At least Arayna wasn't as timid as some other new sisters. Still, her deference could use some work. Galliana took care of that. "You forget your manners Sister." The Green sister was calm even in her reprimands. "Do you forget who and where you are?"

Surin smiled sightly. "Sit Arayna." She waved her hand at the only other open chair in the room. "This is not about your Warder, or lack thereof. This is about Almoren." Surin picked back up her tea cup and took another sip as Galliana took up the conversation thread.

"There have been events." The Leader of the Green Sisters said quietly. "I know you want a Warder, like all Greens do. But I need you to either pick one now or wait. You are to go to Almoren and be our eyes are ears."

Surin jumped back in as her friend stopped. "Within the past few months there have been disturbing rumors of dark-friends growing in Almoren. Even more disturbing is the rumor of a male channler." Surin felt her warder tense. But she continued anyways. "Almoren needs to told against the growing tide of Trollocs. High Lord Sorrel is not holding onto the houses. His rule is crumbling. If he doesn't hold, neither will Almoren. We need you to ensure that he doesn't fall, not until the war is over."

Galliana spoke once more. "I know we ask much of you sister. Are you willing to do this?"

No worries, it was a good post. Maybe just add a little "and she rounded a corner to find Superman and Fate" thing at the end so we can get the group together.

Haha. Sure. I can do that now.

EDIT: And added to. Diana is now with Fate and Supes.
Well, I posted. :) I'm sorry I didn't get it up when I said I was. I'm still visiting family and this is the first moment I have by myself to do things.

Wonder Woman easily jumped over rubble. Behind her she could hear Steve panting to keep up, even though she was going slower for him. Then again, he had to scramble over what she cleared easily. She almost wished he wasn't so determined to keep up with her. At first she thought it was cute that he thought she was a weak woman of his world. Right now it was not helping.

Diana skidded to a stop in front of a robot. The robot hesitated for a brief moment, calculating this new thing that had come between it and it's victim. Diana didn't give it any time. She leapt and climbed onto his head. An energy beam fried the bottom of one of her boots. Diana cried out in rage as she found purchase under a panel and tore. She heard in the background Steve helping the victim to safety.

At least he wasn't going to get in the way. Diana reached in a grabbed whatever she could fine and pulled. The robot suffered the same fate as it's kin. Despite another arriving upon it's death. A metal arm gripped Diana around her waist and lifted. The Amazon grunted. Sh heard the robot power up to shot a laser but a series of sharp pops ended it.

"Thank me later." Steve groused as the now dead robot dropped Diana, with a little muscle.

"Very well." Diana said as she cast a critical eye over the street. It was far easier to battle these with a sword. But her own sword was useless, and no one in this world used swords anymore. And guns were all but useless to her.

Diana turned as another two robots dropped to the ground, reached out and ripped a street sign out of the ground with a mighty battle cry. Both robots moved forwards as one. Her makeshift weapon struck one on the side, causing the pole to crumple. But not before it impacted the other robot. One on the ground Diana easily put them both down.

"And you may apologize to me later." Diana said as she stood up amongst the robotic carnage.

There was a second of silence then Steve asked, "What for?"

"For believing me incapable just because I'm a woman." Diana was pleased to see a shocked look cross his face.

“Protect Unit: Brainiac Prime!” The robots circling above cried. A new larger and quite possible more powerful robot shaped like a skull appeared high above. So this was what controlled all the others. That meant it needed to die.

"Come. We have more people to save and a monster to kill." Diana said before he could say anything more. Behind her Steve cursed something about it being suicide to fight a giant robotic head thing. Diana allowed herself a smile but didn't deviate from her course. Though she did think that Steve should have mentioned the tentacles. That was... unique.

The robotic "Brainiac Prime" was moving faster than Steve. Diana paused a second to let him catch up. Steve looked quite unhappy when he stopped next to her.

"We're not catching up." He pointed out.

"No." Diana agreed slowly. Steve caught on quickly. Even if he didn't like it.

"D." Steve caught her arm as she turned to run off. "About earlier. What you said. Well," Steve hesitated. "I thought about it, and you're right. I did think you were incapable."

Diana smiled. "If this is later, than thank you for saving me." She grabbed his head and pulled in him for a kiss. Steve tensed until he realized just what she was doing. Then she released him.

"Don't die before I get back." Diana told him. She pointed out a couple who where staggering away from a smoking car. "Go be a hero." She told him, then she was gone. Without having to move slowly for Steve she covered ground far more quickly. She dodged and leapt rubble and cars in her path. It felt great to be able to use her full abilities and not hide.

Diana planted to her feet and came to a complete stop when she saw two men standing in more rubble. Mainly destroyed robot parts. Though there was a partially crumbled building. She recognized one from the newspaper article she had read. Had it just been that morning?

"Superman is it?" Diana asked as she walked up to them. "Are you with or against those Brainiac robots?"
I could post again, but nothing really changed and I'd just end up writing a solo piece... again. :D

Though I'm really thinking about adding in Batgirl now.
Just checking in to make sure everyone still alive.

@Eklispe If no one posts in another day or so, I'll just go ahead and continue on your story line.
Roses? Javotte truly hesitated as she hadn't had since she had become accustomed to her blindness. She inhaled against the breeze and thought to herself that the smell did not smell like roses. Cinderella's Godmother grossly failed to explain the concept of a different world. Javotte had pictured them like another country. But this was almost alien. All the small, simple things she used to orient herself had shifted.

"I would not step on your roses." Javotte immediately replied as soon as she got her bearings. She tilted her head towards the masculine voice. She didn't know what he looked like, but in her head she formed a mental image of a shorter man. Middle-aged. Possibly balding. He'd be browned from the sun, looking much like the plants he obviously cared for.

The next voice was a chiding female. She spoke with the same strange accent as the man. She was obvious either a higher ranking servant or the mistress. She was leaning towards the former because her words were slurred, like mush was in her mouth. She pictured a fatter woman to go with the kindly words. For in Javotte's life everyone who had shown kindness had been on the rather portly side with no apparent beauty.

"I am not lost." Javotte said then paused. "But perhaps I am. I know not where I am other than I am trespassing. For that I apologize. And you are most kind to offer breakfast. I wouldn't mind a few bites." Javotte would never turn down kindness, and who knew when she would again get the chance to eat in their strange world. Though if it was morning here, there would be a good chance she would get no sleep.
I personally didn't mind the three post limit. >> *Is now the odd man out*
Would like to see everyone start to gather in Metropolis now.

I'll work on it this weekend. I'm travelling and visiting family so replying is at the bottom of my "to-do" list. (but it is on it!)

As for DC, being a relatively new convert to comics, I liked the new 52 having not known anything better. I would however like to see a cleaner continuity, less mega crossovers (I'm on a budget and cannot afford so many issues) and to have the universe not be "rebooted" every so many years. Other than that I think they're doing just fine. :)
Now I'm the one slow on replying. :) I'm going to be/ have been busy until this weekend. I'll try to get something up Saturday.
