#1. Since S.H.I.E.L.D is a spy organization, Jamie being known world wide would be a very bad thing for an Agent
#2. I'm *not* seeing the reason why S.H.I.E.L.D. would go out of their way to recruit him. There's nothing in his bio that screams Spy, or spy material.
