Blue Demon || Female || Older || Ace

I go by Blue, Demon or BD. Or even Hey You if it's clear enough that you're talking to me. XD I prefer Blue or Blue Demon. And no, I didn't choose "Blue" because I'm sad. It's my favorite color. (And now you know.)

Also, I just discovered DMC and now I'm Dante trash.

No rush on the post. I'm getting ready to crawl into bed... after I completely freaked myself out. I was opening a can and it started spewing. Then I realized it was slightly swollen. And I remember this thing called Botulism that lives in cans that exhibit these symptoms. And that it can Kill You. *cue panic* So I completely freaked out. I'm still not sure if I managed to get the whole house contaminated in my panic to get rid of the can and escaped food. (I'll find out anywhere from 6 hours to 10 days...) Didn't finish making my dinner because of that. Though on the positive side, I'm not hungry anymore.

P.S. The CDC's website is completely unhelpful.

Other than that, I'm leaving my job. So on the whole: Not bad.

EDIT: And... I'm going to bed. TTYL
I'm reading The Riyria Chronicles by Michael Sullivan: If you like fantasy, assassinations, magic, thieves, politics, and all sorts of skulduggery, this book is the book for you. It even has romance for people who like that. I'd very much recommend this book to anyone. This is now my second time through this book series.

I'm also reading (because one book is never enough) The Legend of Eli Monpress by Rachel Aaron: It's another fantasy book series that I'm re-reading. There's not much political maneuvering in it. But it has spirits, double dealings and Eli. It's a rather enjoyable romp. Though not that mentally tasking, which is nice when you want to read something without having to think very hard.

I have more books stacked on my side table that I'm going to read, but just haven't gotten around to yet due to me reading other books. :)
Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling: Another fantasy novel (seeing a theme?). It's book one of a series. The main characters are both guys and together, but it never happens on page (blessedly). There's more politics involved here in the first couple of books. But later go onto deal with the non-human heritage of our main couple. I'm looking forward to re-reading this one again!

The Whispering Skull by Jonathan Stroud: A paranormal fantasy kids book. What's lost in sophistication is more than made up by Stroud's whit and writing prose. The man's a master. It's book two of the Lockwood & Co. series. Book one was 4 out of 5. I'm eager to read this one.

The Secret Prophecy by Herbie Brennan: It's in my stack about of Mr. Brennan. I know nothing about this book other than what the blurb says. I hope it's just as good as his other books.

The Girl is Murder by Kathryn Miller Haines: I've seen this book lurking about my library for a while and when I snagged The Whispering Skull, I also snagged this one. It's a girl teen mystery.

Last but not least is
The Stranger's Shadow by Max Frei:
While they have tons of this series out in Russia, they translate it so slowly to the US. This book is book four. It's about a rather dull man, Max Frei, who dreams himself into another world where he's a magic inspector who solves crimes. There's romance, plots and black magic, it's weird and it has Russian humor. What's not to love?
I just binged watched all of the BBC Musketeers. That count?
Reopened.
If you're not above soliciting: I'd say try the people who voiced interest in the last Dresden Files RPG that ...attempted?... to go up.

I'm... thinking about it.

I'll get back to you.
@GowiI was going to write stuff. I had words down. Then I refreshed and saw that you've already rebooted. *shakes fist at ninja posters*

But...

I just want to tell you to stop making games that are so tempting. I finally got my life back and what do you do? Restart Maxcomics. Haha.
Hey Love. Just checking in on you. Life treating you better yet? (Hopefully still not sick!)
Koenma frowned at Botan. The blue haired Reaper was always far too happy. Of course, given that she was still relatively new* to the whole Grim Reaper job, it could just be chalked up to exuberance. As far as Reapers went Botan was the only tolerable one. Koenma pinched the bridge of his nose trying to relieve the head ache that had been building for the past several days. This case had been nothing but a pain. If only the timing had been better and he could put a more experienced detective on the case. Which would mean he wouldn't have to stick two newbies on it. Koenma was hoping at this point that there wasn't much else to make the whole situation even worse.

Koenma took a deep breath to calm his nerves especially as Botan pointed out all of his own arguments about using the teenager. Well, in Koenma's opinion what had happened with Yusuke was a terrible, terrible fluke. One that sadly didn't end with the brat getting eaten by his spirit beast. Koenma let out another sigh as the Reaper laughed. When Botan suggested she pull a few gadgets Koenma nodded sagely.

"Take what you think he'll need. Last thing I need is him to screw something up." Koenma blanched at the thought, once again sucking furiously on his pacifier. Then a thought occurred to him.

"OGRE!" Koenma shouted and looked around. Where was Jorge, and why wasn't his tea here yet?! Koenma's fickle mind already off Botan and onto the next order of business. While he didn't have the utmost trust in the Reaper. There was no sense in worrying about what hasn't occurred. He just hoped that it would all be sorted before his father heard about it. Koenma shuddered.

Yusuke's breath was visible in the cold chill of the air. The senior high student hated the cold. He tugged his jacket closer around him in a futile attempt to keep warm. He scowled and kicked the snow wishing he had worn more. But he hadn't because his mother had suggested it.

"Yusuke! If you go out there in just your jacket you'll freeze." His mom chided him. Yusuke didn't take that well.

"Stop worrying mom. I'm fine. It's fine. I'll be fine." He snapped and slammed the door behind him.

The school gates loomed up in front of him. Thankfully this was the last day before winter break. He was so looking forward to not having homework. Not that he did his homework of course. But it would still be nice not to have it. And the best thing would be not seeing his teacher, Mr. Iwamoto for a few weeks. The thought caused a large grin to split his face despite the chill.

"Ah yes." Yusuke sighed with pleasure. To not have to listen to Mr. Iwamoto nag and nag and harass him and badger him and even try to expel him. It's not like he showed up that often anyways. He'd pass his exit test**. His mom would throw a fit if he didn't. But he had that sorted thanks to a pretty little thing in 3A.

The bell for class rang as Yusuke stepped through the gate. The senior cussed and debated if he was actually going to try to make it to class or just turn around and leave.

"Skipping again?" A familiar voice called to as the teen turned around to leave.

Yusuke paused and turned back. "Takenaka." The teen sighed.

"That's Principle to you." The portly man stated not offended. "Did you walk all this way just to walk back home?"

"Typically what happen when you don't live at the school." Yusuke tossed back, deliberately misunderstanding.

Takenaka chuckled. "I'm just saying it's a shame you've come all this way in the cold just to turn back around. In the cold." The man's eyes practically sparkled.

Yusuke frowned and was about to make a show of it when he shivered. Which only made him frown more. "You know Iwamoto wont let me in now."

Takenaka sighed. The principle did know that.

"See you after the break." Yusuke said waving and turning back around to leave.

"At least take this." Takenaka said causing Yusuke to turn back around once more. The principle was holding out his scarf. Yusuke stared at it like it was a snake. He looked from the scarf to the principle to the scarf before a hand shot out and snagged it.

Yusuke ignored Takenaka's rumble of a laugh as he hurriedly wrapped the scarf around him and escaped from school grounds before they fenced him in.

*According to the manga Yusuke was really her first spirit detective case
**I know in China the test is called the GaoChao but I haven't the foggiest what the Japanese call their tests.
*slinks back in*

I'm terribly sorry about falling off the face of the earth. My job got bad (very bad). Good news is I turned in my two weeks. Haha. So hopefully you should be seeing more of me.

Anyways, I'm off to write my reply for you.
Reply written. I actually managed more than a few sentences this time. D: What has life become?!
