I'm interested.
I've started stockpiling western songs for future posts, there's a lot of surprisingly good stuff in the genre.
The brawl had quickly turned bad for Lauren, who was now facing two angry confederates, one of whom had started grappling with him. He knew from experience that pulling out his knife would be a bad idea, sure it could intimidate or end the fight fast, but the sheriff was right in front of him.

Thankfully, his table partner grabbed the half-faced man, allowing him to focus entirely on the girl. As they wrestled, Lauren noticed her legs were bent and apart to give her extra leverage, it also made her... lower body a target.

Lauren shoved her back a second, re-positioning his leg in preparation, and then shot his foot upwards. A common misconception, he noted, was that women felt a kick in that area less then a man did, however true that might be, it was more than enough to incapacitate an opponent of either gender.
Gavin turned in concern as he heard K.C. panting, he began to worry about a heart attack or something similar.

"You okay there?" He said, turning back and offering a hand.

@RangerOfTheRit
Gavin shook his head.

"No, I shouldn't have mentioned it, it's alright, I just wanted to... ah screw it." He shook his head. Walking over to Clara, he clapped a hand over her shoulder.

"Let's go, I need to sleep."

@Ayemdar@SaikaAnge
"Clara, enough." Gavin said, very quietly but with a lot of power. Turning to the woman, he shook his head.

"No worries, miss, I'm just looking to talk, honestly." He sighed, realizing that neither of the Grimms truly thought of them as anything more than just evil masters of death, sure the boy seemed friendly enough, but he was still acting disrespectfully to Gavin's cousin. Gavin sighed, his mouth tensed as he thought of it, what he was going to say.

"I'd just like to tell you a story, if you would listen." He said, his voice dropping a few octaves and his shoulders hunched

"It's... no, no, never mind." He shook his head, but them he gritted his teeth, obviously conflicted.

@SaikaAnge@Ayemdar
@Ayemdar He just wants to talk.
@SaikaAnge Gavin walked up slowly, arms apart, every step a bounce. His tongue pushed against his cheek a moment as he thought of what to say, tonight hadn't gone as he had expected at all.

"Actually, I have business with you and your friend here." He said, pushing his tongue against his teeth.

"I'm not a fan of us Briarwhites being forced back here, and if I'm going to have to live here, I'm not sure I'd like fighting Grimms every day. I'm not supposed to talk to you, but..." He looked at Clara with a smirk.

"Who's going to tell?"
Gavin felt better now that the Grimm put his weapons away, putting down his armor, he sheathed his knife and approached him.

"Listen, unless you want another fight, you'll leave that beast alone." He said, pointing a thumb at Clara.
How about this Saturday speed eh? Phew, I could barely read the posts with the amount we got up.
