Ernst furrowed his brow at the mention of his son. With a sigh he turned away and stared up at a wall, his hands wrapped together behind his back.

"I can bring you Reinhardt, but you won't like what you'll find. Reinhardt is a bandit, not a knight, he stopped being a prince the moment he left with half my guard. Last I heard, he was in Gauth, half dead and wearing rags. Call me a cynic, but he's not getting any more handsome." Ernst joked with another forced smile.

Alois walked over to the queen and smiled, placing both of his hands on his chest.

"I do wish to marry you, my lady, perhaps not immediately, perhaps in a few weeks, perhaps in a year. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I would be a fool to waste the chance I've been given." He said eloquently, his coat billowing around his knees as he spun in place and trod around with every word. Ernst snorted and stifled a laugh.

"Never understood 'courtly love', maybe that's why women never noticed me. Maybe, but I got my chance eventually." He chuckled. Alois looked at him, disgusted.
@Claw2k11 Yeah, that'd be nice, sorry to be a hassle.
Paul sat up and glared towards the Germans, leaning back again, he looked at the rest of the group and chuckled.

"Now they've all got cancer, or at least are gonna be really sick." Almost on cue, one of the soldiers puked on the ground and passed out. Paul held up his fist in triumph.

"Oh, uh, don't worry, I didn't get any of you, it's uh, under control, you see." Again, almost on cue, a large blast of nuclear energy shot out of Paul's right elbow, which he failed to hide by shoving it behind his body.

"You're not in any danger, trust me! I'm just... having a little..." He growled as he attempted to halt the flow of energy. As he got ever angrier, a much larger blast erupted from the top of his head, and his eyes glowed much brighter.

Leaping off the armored van and walking towards a nearby building, he rested a hand against it and shook his head.

Control it, you worthless Serbian asshole! He screamed internally. Daddy was a slav and that means you can't control your American awesomeness? Dammit, me! You gotta do this, for America!

Paul's suit contained the energy, finally, and he took to resting against the wall. His father had known war, but Paul never thought America would ever come close to what had happened in Yugoslavia.
@Claw2k11 Why'd you edit out your post?
Gotham for me as well.
@Master Crim He only won the favor of three, the rest either begrudgingly accepted him or hindered him, and the Egyptian gods were pretty nice when you look at them compared to others, especially Osiris, probably one of the nicest gods in any mythology.

But anyways, thanks!
@Master Crim It's cool, just goofin'.
@Master Crim Hey! Look at mine ya' dingus!

Ernst's dark lips puckered at the mention of his eldest son, he had never truly gotten over the ease with which his son decided to leave. One night he was riding with the knights, the next day he was gone along with half of the guards. Oliver had taken it the hardest, Reinhardt and him had shared a greater bond than he had shared with his own brothers.

"Trust me, my lady," Ernst spoke, staring off into the distance sadly. "Reinhardt wasn't the type to rescue girls from towers and live happily ever after." Turning to Alois, he motioned for the boy to speak.

"Oh, well, I hadn't expected to be married so young. Yes, it is the norm for our people, but I am a prince, father wasn't married until he was king." Alois stated, well-composed.

"Yes, but no woman would touch me when I was just the mad stable-boy." He joked, forcing a smile. "Alois, tell the woman she's beautiful, that's what you do to women." He said, with a smile to the queen. Alois, however, simply stood, glancing about the room at his personal guard until finally settling his vision on one of them, who had his face obscured by a head-wrap.

Ernst stared at his son a moment, before a look of realization crossed his face. Immediately he smacked hard on the boy's exposed arm, hard enough to turn his son's light-brown skin red. A moment later, he glanced up at the queen with a smile and mouthed an apology to the prince.

"Sorry, my lady, he had a blood-drinker on his arm." He lied through his teeth.

"I'm just a little nervous, my lady, this was sprung on me so suddenly, you are very beautiful, I would be delighted to have you as my wife." The prince said quickly, nearly interrupting the end of his father's statement.
