@Almosegosum And vocalizing!... Wait...
@Almosegosum Too late.
@Almosegosum

Sitting down in the odd room, Khnemu was flummoxed at the presence of lights that seemed to let out the same radiance as a flame, and how this man could manage to light his home despite not seeming to be royalty. He was terrified of the loud whistling that came out of the kitchen, though Malcoda's calm demeanor set him at ease. Pulling off his mask, he revealed a lip-less mouth with rotted gums and yellow teeth, sand pouring from his mouth a moment before it was clean.

"I apologize for my appearance, the years have been cruel." He said as he unwrapped his arms, green and stitched up heavily. He did not reveal his goggles, which seemed embedded into his head, nor his cloak, for fear of transforming accidentally.

"That language you spoke when you fixed the beast," he said quietly, "I have never heard it, and the knowing god Thoth taught me all of this planet's languages. How do you know this language?" He questioned, suspicion in his mind.

Khnemu seemed displeased at the mention of the beasts being necessary, but he quickly cowed at the mention of authorities coming, in his day, thievery meant you risked losing a hand if you were caught, and now he had slayed one of their beasts of burden, which usually cost more than just a hand. As he was facing away from the side road, Khnemu managed not to catch one of the police vehicles rolling around the block.

"I would have no choice, hopefully this 'tea' is a delicious meal, I've never been served it myself. Another note, I would be able to move us to your home if you are not in the possession of a horse or other beast of burden." He said in his same monotonous voice, his body hunched and his fists clenched in a pose that was near-animalstic.

Khnemu tilted his head at the mention of the beast being tamed, he couldn't imagine why it had been digging up the earth if they wanted to build up, but then of course, he had never been a laborer. The word "slavery" also confused Khnemu, yes, Thoth had taught him the word and its meaning, but that didn't mean Khnemu understood the meaning. Ownership of another human? Preposterous! The servants were all of Egypt, why would they have to be treated like horses? Khnemu walked up close to the man and examined him from about and inch away from his face.

"That beast was poisoning your air, sorcerer," He said, smirking under his mask. It was quite obvious the man was a sorcerer, judging by his sudden appearance and lack of fear at his actions. The man's reaction would still be enjoyable to watch. "I have come to this city as it is one of the last places I haven't been. I awoke ten days ago and for those ten days I have wandered the land, searching for threats to this land that I swore to protect so long ago. My name is unnecessary, but I have been called the Desert Beast by those who discovered me.

He had yet to figure out what empires still existed in this world, he had been more focused on the earth and what had dwelled on it since his absence. As the man had been the first he had sustained a conversation with, he decided to ask.

"Tell me, sorcerer, does the grand kingdom of Egypt still stand as the gods willed it? Do the pharaohs still rule as divine kings over men? And if they are gone, who stands in their place?"
Name: Nurien

Age: 45

Gender: Male

Weapons:

-One sword, three feet in length.
-One spear, six feet in length.
-One square shield, four feet in height, two feet in width.

Items: A horn, used to command his troops.

History:
According to his own words Nurien was born the son of a farmer on a remote island west of the Charon Mountains. This island has never been discovered, and many of Nurien's colleagues believe him to be making it up. Nurien was first heard from leading a slave rebellion in the western republic. This rebellion gave Nurien the strategic and tactical experience needed to be a great leader. This rebellion was eventually quarantined to a small port in the far west, where Nurien stole an army transport and escaped with whatever rebels he could bring.

With these former slaves, Nurien formed a mercenary company, eventually coming into the employ of the Drelian king. After many years serving as the leader of the Drelian army's mercenary component, Nurien was finally commissioned and given full status as a general of Drelia. Despite his belief in anarchy and power to the peasantry, Nurien served the monarchy. He also secretly attempted to undermine their rule and depose the monarchy in an attempt to create a society where there was no ruling party. Eventually, in an ironic twist, Nurien was granted power as crown regent when the king fell ill, not long after, Scipius took control of the western republic. Nurien became a central figure in the eastern alliance, and he elected to send the vanguard forces in order to stall for time. Deciding to go himself for reasons only he understands, Nurien's first actions at the front were to walk into Archon's Pass and declare that he had returned.

Despite his wild-card nature, Nurien is a very kind man who is known as a father to his men, mostly due to the fact that he believes each one of them has just as much right to the land they protect as he does. Nurien is also a moderately successful general, though his tactics are experimental at best, and completely incompetent at worst.

Faction:
Drelia was born out of Xander's conquests. Due to the wide reach of his kingdom, Xander's merchants went every which direction, meeting with odd tribes in the southeast. Eventually, a trade outpost was built, and Drelia was spawned from that outpost. As a result, many Drelians are descended from both Xanderii and these south-eastern tribes, giving them darker skin and a new language, derivative of both Xanderii languages and the languages of these same tribes.

Drelia is home to a multitude of ores and exotic animals, including elephants and cheetahs, the former of which are utilized in the army.

Force:
-400 lightly armored Conscripts, 300 armed with spears and shields and used as the main battle line, 100 armed with swords and shields and used as flankers.
-100 Conscript javeliniers.
-290 heavily armored Elite Infantrymen, dressed as classic Xanderii hoplites.
-200 Cavalrymen, heavily armored and armed with spears, used for shock charges.
-10 Elephants
@TJByrum Okay, will do.

[EDIT] Done.
@Double Agreed, if we get two krytonian-level heavy hitters than I want to have ALL the gods. (Don't take this seriously)

Khnemu had just prepared himself to ride on the winds again, before he suddenly heard a voice behind him. Out of nowhere, there a suddenly a man standing behind him. Khnemu would have jumped if he was still human, well, he was still human in a way, but he had long since become something different.

Stepping back onto the earth, he stared at the man with crooked neck. He was holding a strange contraption over his head to hold out the sun presumably, it was reflecting the light in a way he had never truly seen on anything but water or gold. Whatever it was, it bothered Khnemu.

"Do you not see? I've saved your home from this demon." He said, motioning to the corpse of the great beast that he had felled with a single blow. "You can live without fear now, the land can be healed and the skies will empty of this terrible smoke." He rolled up the bandages on his wrists, pulling them tight and clenching his fist.
