I accidentally sang the ABC's to the tune of 'The Months of the Year' song and felt lost because the tune ended before the actual alphabet and it was confusing and horrible.

Hey White Tiger :P. That's sort of the same reason I originally started roleplaying; creative writing practice. My English and grammar have improved since then and I think I've become a lot better at executing plot devices I can manage to set in motion. In truth forum roleplay is just joint creative writing and it's great to weave a story together with other people who share similar interests in the world you help each other write :).

Coolio. Hey Alyssa, and welcome to the wonderful world of forum roleplay :D. It's a nice, very flexible (time wise) way to express creativity and put your imagination to good use. You'll probably learn a lot as you explore so don't be discouraged if at first you apparently do something wrong. I accidentally broke a rule known as 'power playing' the first time I interacted with another character but learned from it quite quickly :P. Anyways, I hope you find a good first roleplay to get started on (try the casual section first ;) ), and maybe I'll see you around :).

Hey group fighting the scrafty, would it be alright if Xeno digs into the cavern you're in? I won't be disruptive and can have what he heard be something else if otherwise :).

"What is that?" Xeno asked aloud, pressing his ear to the tunnel wall. Soon as he could hear better the answer became obvious, and the sableye began rushing back up the tunnel he'd made. It was deep, too deep apparently, and up above the little bit of light coming from the opening of the tunnel disappeared. Panic filled Xeno's mind as he crawled up onto the roof of the tunnel he'd made, watching as a few loose rocks tumbled past him. "Damn," he sighed, looking towards what had been his exit. Hastily Xeno began crawling around on what short stretch of tunnel he had left, listening for something that might indicate a nearby cavern. Ears twitching, he began to pick up something, and started digging. He had more energy now, having found a small coal deposit, and silently cursed himself for not pursuing a food he didn't need to risk killing himself for. Slowly the noise grew louder, until eventually the rock gave way by itself and Xeno tumbled down into a cavern. Nimbly he managed to recover from the fall and land on his feet, arms out for balance as dust and small chunks of rock fell from the ceiling. There were pokemon in here as Xeno had assumed, and quickly he began looking for an exit other than the one above him which didn't really lead anywhere.

Lol, ya :P. Anyway, you can powerplay Jacob to follow them if they go somewhere since he'dhe'd most likely follow. Just so you can make your post longer if need be :)

I find a good chunk of the active roleplays in the casual section, even if they've started, still accept new characters. How long they remain open is up to the OP but if you see an RP you really like the idea of you can often ask the OP and they'll tell you if you can join in. Just to broaden your choices a bit :)

Though he disliked the incomplete answer, but didn't feel specifically confident searching the dark tunnels for anyone else that might be around. "I'll ask later," he thought aloud, putting the reaper jacket back so he could pull off his old hoodie. It would still do him nicely as somewhere to rest his head, and with a final look over he dropped it outside the train cart and grabbed the reaper jacket. It was different in style; thinner and a bit longer than his old hoodie but still very much the same with a similar colour and the only real difference being the skull and bones painted onto it. With his somewhat updated look he jumped down out of the cart, looking down at the painted on rib cage before kneeling to scoop up his old jacket. "My uh- my name's Jacob by the way. Thanks for the tour," I told the two of them, the second bit more directed at Nova. "It'd be easy to end them..." something whispered, causing Jacob to flinch and look behind him.
