Hazel glared at Amadeus as he left to retrieve Harley. He better not mess this up. Hazel let out a satisfied smile when it appeared that the two were getting along well enough. However, as Harley turned his face towards her, grinning, she seemed to shrink behind Solanne. A small internal panic was rising inside her as she recalled her previous embarrassment in front of him. She had absolutely no idea what to do as the pair began to approach them. When they arrived Hazel defensively placed herself to the rear of Solanne, barely peeking out at the two.

She was both surprised and scared when Harley suggested her to lead. She cleared her throat to speak up, but seemed to trip over her words, "I-I-I'm a uhhhhh... I can... uhhhh..." She was unable to finish her sentence. When Amadeus suggested someone else lead, Hazel nodded. In her usual state she would vehemently insist that she lead, but she can tell she was in no state to command the squad. She pointed a timid finger at her surrogate sister, "S-S-Sol-Solanne should lead, you're, uh, good at that, a-aren't you?" She said to the older girl.
Sure, I'd be fine with that
Hazel had now collected herself. As her new 'sister' dragged her towards this 'Prodigy Child' she was ready. She did her best to smile amicably as Solanne introduced them. Her first impression him was not good. He seemed disheveled and not much more then a grunt, but she reminded herself that to be among this group he must be stronger then he appeared. She also knew that Solanne was foolish to quickly write off her and now the so-called 'Prodigy Child' as kids to be babysat. She seemed to forget that everyone here were elite warriors of great renown, like herself. Everyone here was recognizable heroes, and perhaps a few villains, from across the land. Although Hazel went at first unnoticed, she was sure that word was getting around of who she was. No one could remain unaware of someone as powerful as herself!

"Good afternoon Miss Solanne, and to you to ummmm... I'm sorry, but I don't think I know your name miss."

Hazel huffed. This 'Prodigy Child' was either joking, or a complete imbecile. Surely the tale of Hazel Daphiat has spread throughout the lower kingdoms.

"Are you sure you don't know me? Surely you just don't recognize me yet... Hazel Daphiat? Terror of the Sky Kingdom? The Child of Omen? The Destroyer?" She turned to Solanne, and began to whisper in her ear, "I'm famous outside of the Sky Kingdom, aren't I?"
Kept my post short and sweet. Wasn't sure if Hazel was gonna head off to make her own official team.

I don't think Hazel will be so eager to leave her new 'sister'.
By now Hazel had fully collected herself, which certainly did not bode well for Solanne. At least, it typically would have, but Hazel found herself in an uncharacteristically good mood. She may be famous for her temper, and she may be a very wrathful person, but the prospect of having a friend was very exciting for her. She was not prepared to make a friend so soon in the world outside her prison, but she now found herself now ready for the possibility. There should be absolutely no misunderstanding in that Hazel is by no means a good person now, but merely a bad person in a good mood.

What she wasn't ready for, however, was an offer of sisterhood. All her life Hazel had no family, and the idea of a 'sister' was completely foreign to her. But she couldn't help but admit it was at least a little appealing. Even though Hazel was a actually quite interested in the idea, she did need to make sure there was no misunderstanding between her and this older girl.

"Hmmmmm. Very well, I except your offer, but I'm going to make a few things clear. Don't think that just because I'm a 'kid' I need your protection. I'm perfectly fine taking care of myself. In fact, I'm worried that I'll end up having to protect you," She said pointedly, "And I'm certainly not scared of anyone, or anything, lest of all some 'Prodigy Child'."

Y'all wanna team up?

I would be fine with teaming up, but it is looking pretty likely so far that Hazel will end up following her new-found friend Solanne. We'll see how things turn out.
Hazel was slowly but steadily regaining her composure. She quickly realized how stupid she must have looked. She quickly shut her mouth, and took a breath. After finding herself, she opened her mouth to speak again, but by now she found herself being tugged away. She had no way to resist the pull of the bigger girl, who she now knew was Solanne Luxone. The Crimson Hound. She was from the Sky Kingdom, like her. Even Hazel in all her isolation had heard her name. Solanne was a strong mage, just like herself. But I'm stronger. There was no question of that as far as Hazel was concerned.

By the time Solanne found it suitable to stop dragging Hazel around she had calmed down. Her face was once again it's usual shade of pale white, and she was able to properly form a sentence. She was still quite embarrassed by her behavior in front of her potential future followers, and of course the handsome boy that approached her, but she swept away this embarrassment. You are Hazel Daphiat. You are the most powerful mage to have ever lived. You could destroy all of these people if you wanted. She told herself what was truth to her. The only truth she could be sure of. By the time Solanne's next question came, she was ready to answer.

“Though I gotta wonder, what brings you out here by yourself? Weren’t you supposed to be off living in some fancy establishment or something?”

Hazel huffed. "First of all, I don't need you to bail me out. I was just fine back there... but anyways, you're from the Sky Kingdom, right? You know they're scared of me. They'd rather send me off for the other Kingdoms to worry about then keep me in their 'establishment'. I'm not interested in staying there anyways."
Hazel's attention was momentarily taken by an uproar. It seemed a fight was beginning to break out. She could care less. As far as she was concerned this fighting was little more then boys trying to show off how macho they were with their silly sword and armor. It seemed to her that in her few weeks exploring the world all men were little more then bumbling fools. Few were dependable, like Winston, and even fewer were nearly as strong as they wanted to seem. As far as Hazel was concerned women were far more reliable, as vapid and vain as some may be. She did not realize the irony in this thought.

Although it seemed that the camp was mostly dominated by men, there were other women. Hazel was better then all of them.

It wasn't long before one of the women approached her. Hazel knew her power would command a natural respect among those around her, it would just take a second for people to notice. She marked this women as the first of many followers before she had approached. She gushed with foolish pride at how perceptive her new henchman must be to have noticed her.

“Hey there Spell Spitter,”

Hazel slightly recoiled as the women placed her arm around her. Oh Atros this creature is touching me.

This women would not be her new henchman, and she already felt a deep contempt for her. Hazel was not prepared for the next quip.

“Er, aren’t you a little short to be a warrior?”

Hazel flushed with anger. I can burn you. I want to burn you. She said the words in her head but not aloud. She could feel the rage welling up inside. How dare this stranger insult her.

“Say, don’t I know you from somewhere?”

Hazel balked on her initial anger for a moment. So her reputation did precede her! Of course it did! It was now obvious to Hazel that a mage as powerful of her was well known. This girl may be a bit uncultured, but Hazel quickly determined that she would teach her proper manners. The excitement welled inside her. Her first follower!

“But in all seriousness, you look a little down. Hey, the Word Weaver told us to be friends so… wanna be friends?”

Hazel's excitement quickly doubled back into a swirling combination of anger and nervousness. Her thoughts quickly leaped back and forth from 'Oh no she wants to be friends what do I do' and 'Oh no this lesser creature presumes to be friends with me' to 'Oh my Atros I'm making a friend'.

Hazel was certainly now visibly flustered and confused, as her mind quickly overloaded with emotion. Seconds passed as the strangers question hung in the air. Hazel mustered all the answer she could.

"Uhhhhh..."

By now Hazel had completely forgot that her height had been insulted, and the approach of another person put her further on edge.

"How's it going, Incinerator?"

This one was a young man, who was exceedingly handsome. Hazel flushed. His features were perfection: He was a bronzed god, his visage graced by a wry smile. Her face reddened further. She was surrounded by way too many strangers for her liking. She was completely uncomfortable and out of sorts and unable find her usual fiery self. She felt the persona she usually wore melting away, assaulted by the pair of friendly strangers. Her mouth still hung open from her last 'Uhhhh'. She gave the same answer to the boy.

"Uhhhhh..."
Is 'Incinerator' supposed to be Hazel? Also, make sure you get your CS in the character tab Fret, it would be a lot easier to find.
@Diggerton

Seeing as Hazel is from the Sky Kingdom too, I have the burning urge to have Solanne act like an annoying big sister to her. And to pick on her height.

Go for it! But I cannot account for any bodily harm Hazel may attempt to enact upon Solanne.
