Bio

Oh let's see. I've been on this site for awhile. So I figured it's time for an update to this thing.

I'm old lol. Born in 1990. I'm sure you can do the math. I've been roleplaying since freshmen year in highschool. So I have a lot of experience, to say the least.

As for my tastes in rps. I like custom worlds that don't branch from fandoms. I'm personally not great at fandoms. I can do them if I like my partner enough but I just can't get into a mindset of a world that has everything set in it. I like dark, gritty roleplays that delve into the darker themes that tend to make people feel uncomfortable sometimes. I have and WILL kill off my characters if it feels like that's where the plot is going. Nothing is safe! I like to think of myself as a literate rper. You WILL get at least three paragraphs from me. Sometimes it can go up to pages if what is happening requires it but I usually keep to it under two pages for normal replies. I enjoy dynamic characters that are fun to play! I play both male and female roles without a problem and I am not opposed to LGBTQ+ relationships either. Most genres are not off the table except maybe slice of life. I'm already living a boring life. I don't roleplay to keep doing that.

I unfortunately have Major Depressive Disorder and though I take meds for it, sometimes my world just kind of crashes down around me and I may just vanish. My replies will become less frequent and then I'll just disappear off the face of the earth. I'm really sorry for people I've done this to in the past. I'm working on it.

I do group and 1x1 roleplays. I do have discord (BunniesofDoom) and can roleplay on that if you want but I much rather the site because my replies tend to get long and I don't like copy and pasting over and over just to get one reply out.

Well this is getting kind of long. I feel like I'm putting out an application. So I'll go ahead and end it here. If you want to roleplay, hit me up and we'll see if we mesh well!

yeah. I'm waiting on @IAmTheIsland to post. I can throw something out just to get things moving if I need but I really rather not do that.

Also waiting on @HyliaIncarnate for Algrimar too. Hers hasn't been as long of a wait though. So I don't think we need to skip her, just give her some time to catch up.
Serphia dropped down from the silk, bouncing lightly as she bent her knees before she sprang back up as if she had done that landing a thousand times before. She flipped her short hair out of her face as she unsheathed her dagger. She raised a hand to the tree and Arloke crawled down, latching himself to her back like a snuggly backpack. It was at that moment that Serphia realized she had left her pack in the barn just before they had left. The wizard’s attempts to sway her choice on the battle caused her to forget the most essential thing she had at that present time. She peered back at the barn with a frown. It was lost now. They couldn’t go back at that point. With a huff of annoyance, she followed him into the wheat.

She could hear the crunch of wheat stalks as a few of the raiders stormed into the crop to find them. She crouched, her dagger at the ready in case they came into contact with people before they were anticipating it. She listened to him intently as he whispered to her, her eyes flashing to the moving wheat ahead before she followed him further into the field. Somehow managing to avoid the raiders as they stalked through the wheat, eventually growing frustrated and using their swords as sickles and cutting down the crop in a futile attempt to find them.

She slipped silently out of the hiding and moved against the wall of the building, her eyes taking in the scenery with practiced skill. She marked any places where enemies could come from and any place she may use as an escape to get away. As the devil flew past, snarling and mumbling to itself, they took the chance to go. As they crashed through the door, Arloke took aim at the flying creature before releasing a thick line of silk that broke off just as they barreled into the home. The silk flew in the air before wrapping around the devil’s wings, knocking it out of the air with a cry of shock and confusion. Serphia peered back at the spider with a scolding sneer on her face but they were already hidden away and the devil’s back was to them so there was, likely, no way he could have known it was them or where they had gone.

Serphia slowly crossed the hallway, one foot over the other as silently as she could move. She was crouched against the wall and when she approached the hallway threshold, she lowered to examine the corpse that lay just within the other room. She grabbed it, pulling it further into the hallway as she got to work on searching it for anything useful. She patted its pockets, checked its belt and boots for any kind of weapons, and checked along his hands for any kind of rings that might speak of enchantments. He had nothing. Not even a pendant around the neck. She shoved him out of the way as she slid up to the threshold once more. She listened a moment before taking a peek inside. Her head was only sticking into the room for a moment but she registered the scene with quick efficiency. She turned to Malcador, holding up two fingers in one hand and one finger in the other. She was sure to keep the hand with the one finger lower than the others, showing that the screaming woman was not able to put up any kind of resistance.

Without saying a word, she lowered Arloke to the ground and flipped her dagger in her hands. She pointed to Mal then to the floor before raising a hand in a symbol to stay. She gave a low whistle and Arloke made his way along Mal’s leg then settled on his back just like he always had done with Serphia. She locked her indigo eyes on him for a second, two seconds, a third before she took a breath and slid into the room.

She moved quickly. Slinking into the room she saw one man kneeling on the bed holding the woman down and the other standing over her while ripping her clothes open. The woman’s voice screamed out as she thrashed, trying to kick the men off her. Serphia didn’t hesitate. She stepped up to the man at the end of the bed and, with one hand on the grip and the other pressed firmly onto the back for extra strength, she slid the dagger into the back of the man’s throat. She could feel the dagger sliding between vertebrae of his spinal cord and she gave it a quick twist. The man fell down dead in an instant. She moved quickly now, drawing the sword of the man who was now kneeling on the bed in baffled confusion. Serphia slid onto the body of the first man, straddling him while leaving her dagger in his neck. She sliced across the other man’s throat with his own blade. He gurgled, his hands releasing the woman and shooting to his neck as he tried to staunch the bleeding. She sent a kick to his chest and watched as he collapsed off the bed, thrashing on the ground as he suffocated on his own blood.

Serphia peered down at the woman now pinned to the bed by the dead raider and Serphia’s weight. Her purple eyes locked on the woman’s panicked face. She pulled her dagger from the man’s neck and reversed it in her grip. She lowered the blade to the woman’s throat, ready to end her life as well but she hesitated. Her jaw clenched tightly for a moment before she ripped the blade away from the woman. She sheathed the dagger at her waist and grabbed the guards’ swords before she stepped off the dead corpse. She kicked him off the woman who stood up quickly. Their eyes locked for a moment before the woman turned and ran out of the room. Serphia stood there a time, questioning if she made the right move in letting the woman go. She was getting soft. She was spending too much time with humans. They were rubbing off on her.

She finally turned from the bloody scene, stepping into the hall with two swords now in her hands. “Here,” she called out as she went to hand Mal a weapon. However, before she could hand the sword off to him, the wall directly to her right broke open. A devil came crashing through, the same woman from early screaming in frantic panic as she tried to rip the creature off her. The devil released a low cackle as it violently ripped the woman’s head to the side, almost twisting it completely around. Her corpse dropped to the ground and it turned its eyes on Mal and Serphia. It dove towards Mal at first, bloody claws glistening as it went for his face. Serphia grabbed a hold of its wing and heaved. The creature was larger than her in body mass and in height. It took a lot of her strength to keep it from getting a hold of Malcador.

The devil whirled around, turning its attention on her as she ducked under its claws. Ripping the dagger out of its sheath and using one of the two swords she had gotten, she danced around the creature’s claws as it lashed at her. Its tail can flashing at her head. She flung herself back, raising the sword to catch the knock the tail out of the way. It was far thicker and beefier than she had expected and the blade went clattering out of her hands. She sneered at the creature as she looked for an escape. He was between her and the entrance to the home they had taken. She could dive through the hole he made into the street outside but she was sure that more danger awaited her there. Her only option was the back room she had just left. She dove into the room, rolling once before she sprang back to her feet. Dagger up in a reverse grip, she eyed the creature while it followed her in the room. She rolled her shoulders and brought the dagger up in a guard before signalling for the devil to come at her.
No! No! We're just kind of stuck in limbo until we get some replies going lol.
Serphia allowed an eyebrow to quirk up when the man told her they should avoid killing the family. She personally found it to be a foolish move. They were mere moments from being discovered. She could hear a hand grabbing a hold of the barn door latch, a deep voice questioning why the door was unlocked. Her indigo eyes locked on the door as she unsheathed her dagger from her waist. This was going to turn into a fight whether Mal wanted it to or not. However, just as the door was almost opened, the ground vibrated under them. Her head whirled around as she tried to find the source of the movement. Indigo orbs met blue before the two turned in unison and ran for the ladder. She scaled the side of it, allowing him the main use of it as they moved. She was surprised by how quickly he was able to go. Perhaps he had some previous training or maybe even an actual criminal background. She would have to question him on it.

She pulled herself up on the ledge and scurried to the opening to peer out. Serphia took the sight in a quick sweep. She had no idea what those things were, though she may have an idea why they were attacking the village. It was most likely a slave raid. Anyone left alive after the initial attack would be taken as slaves and their homes plundered for resources and goods. She had thought she left that mess behind when she left the underdark but it seemed it would follow her, even here in this tiny town of farmers and peasants. Her lips were pulled in a thin line on her face as she watched. Her eyes scanned the attackers, seeing one far off behind the others, his armor far more intricate and he had a large gleaming sword at his waist. He shooted orders to a few of men before he grabbed a devil off a thrashing man and threw the creature at a different target.

She looked at the wizard and a look of displeasure creased her features when she saw that look on his face. “No,” she said at the same time as he said they needed to help. “No! I did not come to the surface just to die in battle for humans!” She crossed her arms, huffing as he continued. She peered out of the window as he spoke about possibly getting equipment and the chance he might find a spellbook. She groaned as she brought her hand to her nose, pinching the bridge. She had no armor, he had no spells. What was he going to do against devils and raiders? She feared that if she didn’t go with him, he was still going to try to at least get a spellbook somehow. She pondered just splitting from the man right then and there. He was a madman if he thought for even a moment that they stood a chance against a raiding party like that. Their only backup would be the people trying to catch them to put them back in jail. It was foolishness. It was stupidity. It was- something she would have been forbidden to do if she was back home.

She let out a loud groan as she dragged her hands along her face. “Alright, fine!” She steepled her hands in front of her mouth before addressing him. “But you listen to me right now. If you want to survive this, you do NOT leave my side for even a moment. Is that understood, wizard? If we get separated, I’m leaving you behind. I have no intentions of dying here in this tiny hole in the ground.” She spoke quickly as if she needed to get the words out before she changed her mind. She was a fool to be trying this. It was going to get them killed. It was going to be one hell of a fight.

She could already feel her heart thumping in her chest as she peered out the window again. She bounced on her hunches in anticipation. She was an assassin about to go face to face with raiders and marauders. She had truly lost her mind. Any exhaustion she felt from keeping watch the night before was swept away with the flow of adrenaline. "How good are you at climbing?” She reached back to pull Arloke forward, the spider rubbing its mandibles together in curiosity. She gave a long whistle then a few shorter ones just after, a complex command for him to follow well.

He lightly jumped from her shoulder and latched a thick line of silk to the wooden frame of the window. She gave it a mighty tug, planting her foot against the wall and putting all her weight into it as she pulled back. The silk held and the frame looked sturdy enough to make her happy. She gave the spider a gentle slap on the bottom and he jumped. She watched as the spider soared away until he landed in a tree about 32 meters from them, a long thick line of silk connected to him. She waited a moment for Arloke to connect the silk the tree. He circled a few times before he used one of his legs to strum the thread. She grabbed the silk and suddenly dropped her whole body weight onto it while picking her feet up. It held. She peered around on the loft, looking for anything they could use as handholds. She found a few pieces of rope that were just barely long enough to be useful after she tied knots at the bottom of them.

“Time to go, Malcador.” She slung one piece over the silk and grabbed his wrist before making him grab a hold just above the knot she had made. “Just keep sliding and when you hit the tree, brace yourself with your knees. Bend them so you don’t break something.” She checked to make sure he was secure before giving him a mighty push against his backside, moving to quickly to worry about where her hands came to settle. She had a plan and wanted to get it moving in the right direction.

It wasn’t long after that she followed.

Algrimar: "Don't just stand there! Help me!"

Location: Dogfall Stronghold Interactions: @HyliaIncarnate (Nova Andromeda), @Amatiramisu (Colt Avalon)

Algrimar took a step towards the child as she brought her glistening sword in for another attack to his side. The large Grim grabbed a hold of the sword with one hand, locking it within his grasp. With his second hand he reached down to grab a hold of the disabled man’s head. ”You weren’t ready for this, child. You couldn’t even leave your kin behind to fight properly.” He growled as he ripped the man from the poor girl’s grasp. With a flourish, he threw the screaming man to the lesser Grim behind him as the girl drew a second weapon, this time a large-headed hammer. Algrimar allowed an eyebrow to raise at the sight of the weapon. That, unlike her katana against his armor, could really do some damage.

As she released the sword to grasp the hammer with both hands, the large Grim tossed the weapon to the side with a huff. He charged at the young girl, his armor flashing in the light of the moon and his claws whistling as they cut through the air. Claws and gauntleted hands met the hammer over and over again. The beast of a man had expected the girl to be quicker than him but what he hadn’t expected was for his sense of sight blackening the moment after they started truly fighting. Algrimar stood up hastily, his head whipping around as he tried to listen for the young light bearer. The hammer crashed down on the man’s knee, crumpling that support and forcing him down to it. He let out a roar of pain and frustration as swung his arms around him in a wide circle. He added his fire breath to the mix, lashing out in a wide berth around him. As no more attacks were coming his way, he took a moment to focus his insight, closing his eyes for only a fraction of a second as his will crushed her little spell of blinding.

His eyes snapped open and he grabbed a hold of her head as she came barreling towards him with her hammer at the ready. She had expected him to still be blind and so was making an easily countered frontal assault on him before he could get his bearings. ”Nice trick.” He stood off his bent knee. The girl’s hands dropped the hammer as they clawed at his armor, trying to get him to let go of her head as he lifted her off the ground. ”You had me there, for a moment. Too bad it was only for a moment.” His hand ignited, setting her whole head ablaze. Her screams were added to the cries of the grim and battling heroes. Eventually she grew silent and he crushed her skull in his grasp before tossing her now lifeless body to the lesser Grim behind him.

A ringing sounded just above Algrimar and he peered up at the darkened sky. He felt a sneer form on his face. There was only one person he knew of that could make such an entrance and if she was arriving, it would be a turn of the battle unless they could get that sigil down. A deep growl reverberated from his throat as her illuminated form came crashing down into the ground before the gate. As she ignited, the larger grim let out a deep sigh of frustration. He stood there, watching as she cut down swathes of his lesser grim.

”Nova Andromeda!” Algrimar called out as he slowly stalked towards the woman. ”You dare to appear on my battlefield.” He gave a dark laugh as he picked up a writhing grim next to him. His hand crushed down on the creature’s scruff as the large man hauled the writhing beast of its feet. He hurled it at the light bearer, the creature snarling and clawing at the air in a frantic attempt to get a hold of the glowing woman.

”I wonder how long it’ll take for your light to diminish.” He snatched a flying Grim out of the air before hurling it at the woman, this one a smaller form with wings and sharp talons on its hands and feet. ”Let’s see how long your light lasts in my domain.”

The Greater Grim paused for a moment as yet another light bearer came from within the gates. His dark orbs locked on the boy as he ran past Nova, giving her shoulder a gentle punch along the way. Did this boy think this was all a game? Rage boiled in the Grim’s chest before he unleashed it with a mighty exhale of fiery breath. The flames screamed through the night air, heading straight for the two light bearers.
I'll get Algrimar's post up here in a bit. Gotta get the boy facing the freakin star and electric boy.
