Mayt grabbed Karn's shirt as he tried to run off, pulling in back.
"A-a-ah! No point in you running off, just stick here with us." He set the blonde go once he was standing back by him again.
"I've seen at least two powerful people run off for the cannon already, and a third would just make things complicated. Sorry." He patted Karn's head before looking over at Joshua.
"I can fight without my magic as well, though I'm certain everyone else around has more practice with it than I do, I can hold my own against the common brigand. And why don't we see what's going on inside the palace, so that we aren't just sitting here with our thumbs up our asses." He motioned for Karn to come along as he headed for the palace, not wanting to just do nothing.

Mithera shrugged when Zenoram said she should relax.
"I am about as relaxed as I can be, and oftentimes I'm the one who's big and strong, so I fly people around, or there's just nothing big enough to fly me around. I don't have too much of a problem with it. She let off a soft chuckle as Zero told his and Zenoram's story, and chuckled again when he said he'd throw them off Hemlock if they tried to hug him.
"I'm not exactly built for hugging, so don't worry about that. And why don't you two join me and Karn in Magnolia? I doubt they knew your father there, or who you are at least. And the guild there is a great way to see the world." She nodded a little, thinking.
"And from my experience with them, they wouldn't care if your father was a criminal or not."
