A weird thing about getting older is noticing how you do/hold things with your hands is slowly making your fingers permanently bend or deform, and not even being very disturbed by it.

I am a 30 year old woman from America. I have been Roleplaying for... damn, probably about 20 years. I got started in AOL chatrooms back when AOL was a program for dialup that came on CDs delivered in the snail-mail.
I have been through the spectrum of style and post length through my years, and have settled comfortably in a descriptive prose semi/para range for the most part. I like to focus on not only visual details, but sensory details as well.

You are a professional sorceress hired by the Lord of the land to flush out a dragon that has been settled in a valley several years now. The problem isn't that it's causing trouble-- it's that the beast is gaining a following. The local villagers have started referring to it as their Lord. The real Lord won't stand for this.
No arrow or blade has worked yet, so the Lord has turned to Magic...
I'm looking for a female character to take up this role, regardless of what the writer behind her is.
The dragon is intelligent and capable of speech. It has only one form, though I may consider changing this if necessary. It isn't massive, maybe twice the size of a horse.
This plot ends with the situation being resolved in some manner.
Will the Sorceress complete the job as commanded, or will it work out some other way...?
This is not a Fight Rp, but may contain fight scenes.
Morals will be challenged!

Romance and Mature scenes may be an option if it makes sense in the natural flow the the Rp, and if you approve.
This must be requested, or it will be excluded by default.

War has torn through the land, and while the glories of battle shine brightest as they happen, what they leave can be best described as "a big ploughin' mess." Among the razed villages, discarded seige weapons, trashed army camps, and farm fields turned battle fields now salted with blood and other things, it's time to pick up the pieces...

Centaurs are known to be volatile, violent, aggressive, and uncaring tribal beasts. The good people of the land steer clear of them and their territories for fear of being caught in the frequent chest to chest brawls they can often be seen engaging in from across the farm fields or pastures boarding the forests they roam. However this image gets shattered as someone encounters one, clothed and speaking common...

Your character is finally free! Kind of. They've been assigned a Parole officer to keep them out of trouble, and he's a bit stranger than the usual government appointed 'parents'.

It's been a long time since Castles and Lords, but one day you stumble upon something left from those days in a covered up dungeon under the city. And it's still alive.

Your character is a professional sorcerer/ess hired by the Lord of the land to flush out and get rid of a dragon that has been settled in a valley several years now. The problem isn't that it's causing trouble, it's that the beast is gaining a following. No arrow or blade has worked yet, so the Lord has turned to Magic...
You're a dragon who's made a nice situation for yourself in a little valley. The villagers pay you in shiny things and livestock, and you keep the valley free of trouble. They've even started referring to you as a lord. Now if only that pesky human lord would stop sending his men after you. Today, though, it's not the usual metal clad halfwit...
