"It won't stop. It's always there," She said, her eyes closed now, her hands over her ears.
She slowly slid down to the floor, her back against the door of the oven.
Oh poor little darling. Have I broken you already? I was going to have so much more fun with you, playing with you as you killed everyone you know, the voice snarled.

Jen walked back out of the showers, a long towel around her body, her clothes in one of her arms. She'd left her hair free to dry, and had a smile on her face.
"The showers are really good guys! I haven't had hot water like that in years," She said, walking back over to the main group, before entering one of the rooms and closing the door.
She walked out of the room a minute later, her clothes back on.

Ley laughed a little after Sky walked out.
"Yeah, thats the explosive eccentric assistant. Don't worry, he's experienced situations like this before. He actually found out I was a lesbian when he walked in on me and a lab assistant. I'm pretty sure he was hitting on me up to that point as well, which didn't help at all," She explained, "So no, he'll be fine."

Ley giggled at the mares joke.
"Well you can add me to that list," she said with a smile.
She nodded when Autumn mentioned hiking.
"I got to hike through the mountains in Gryphonia as part of my training," she said, looking wistful as she remembered her time in the exotic country.
She had lots of good memories from her training under Gura the shaman. Admittedly, a few of those good memories involved pretty gryphonesses and a hastily booked room at a tavern, but there were other satisfying moments that were less wild.

Jen shrugged before heading down the hallway.
"I've cleaned worse," she said, opening the door to the shower, "I'll be back in a bit."
She closed the door behind her and started to prepare for a shower.

Jen popped her head in the door and raised an eyebrow. The room didn't actually look that bad. Though she still had one concern.
"Is there anywhere that we can wash up?" She asked the guard, longing for a shower, even a cold one.
She'd been tossed in acid, zapped by radiation and been working out all day. She really wanted a clean.

Jen unloaded the rifle before putting it back on the shelf, heading over to one of the guards afterwards.
"Well, lets go see this room," she said, sounding bored.
She wasn't expecting much from the room, and that didn't bother either. She was used to living in a spartan environment.
