Selena went into one of the other bathrooms and showered and changed herself, zipping up her hoodie to try and stop the chill of being damp. She walked back outside, her hair looking messy and wild from the shower. She decided to let it dry from the air rather than using a towel, enjoying the cool feeling on her head.

On the Streets

Jen burst into tears, her hands flying to cover her face. She sank down to the ground, ending up leaning against the wall of the building next to them.
"I'm sorry," She said, whacking her head against the wall, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Eventually she stopped, her head buried in her knees, her arms hugging her legs to her closely.

Jen pondered that for a moment.
"Umm... Well, I guess I'd ask for an end to war to start off with. And I would probably ask for an end to world hunger at the same time. As for the last one..." She grew quiet for a few seconds, before blushing brightly, "I'd rather not say."
The last part came out as a squeak, betraying her embarrassment at what she had thought. This was not helped by the way he was showing off his body, Jen's brain having an overload as several signals shot across it, most of them being excitement and sheer terror.
'What is he doing talking to me? There's a bunch of other hotter girls in here,' She thought to herself.

Jen shook her head uneasily.
"I don't like the look of this," She muttered, "Be careful vampire. You are a strong fighter, but I fear there are stronger things than you down there."
She gripped her rapier tightly, getting it ready for a fight. She knew situations like these far too well. And they often ended in death.

Jen swore a little as she felt the ship shake from the impact.
"I'm going to head downstairs and see if there's any damage," She said, running out, Ruby following behind her and beeping loudly in complaint, "Shut up, you stupid droid."
She headed towards where the rocket had impacted, checking for any signs of damage.

Lyn hummed herself as she started to tap away at her computer, bringing up several muted live news feeds. She didn't say a single word as her secretary quickly put a mug of coffee down next to her desk. She was already starting on her speech for the court case which would inevitably come up due to this whole mess

Jen straightened up a little at that, thinking for a second.
"Fine," She said finally, "I'll fight you."
She pointed at Cadence grudgingly. She had just chosen the girl at random. She knew that she wouldn't stand a chance against either of them anyway, so it didn't matter which she chose.

Jen blinked and turned around, tears swelling in her eyes when she saw who it was.
"I don't know. Do you know me?" She asked, "Do you really know who I am? Or do you just know the mask, the girl who sleeps with someone new every night? I don't know if that is the real me or not."
She looked terrible, the alcohol not having helped with the bloodshot eyes.
