@Shadow Dragon, it depends because the solution differs from person to person. But I just chat with my lover or play games with friends. Watch "Memes" with them. Ultimately, the little things.

Just tried Long Island Ice tea for the first time. I can see why people love this. Life is good.

The status is people are going to pull out due to lack of the GM.

And yeah, accidents happen, but not everyone really cares about personal life or events. They come here for an outlet.
Lil worried.
@vancexentanI so know what you mean...

Like, some areas I am unfamiliar with (Or not remembering clearly.)
As far as "Quest" I have none.
@SimplyJohn Guessing I won?
@McHaggisYeah... because feeling oppressed justifies bringing demons right...?
@McHaggis Okay, remove Bethany from this equation because in truth, it is a grey choice.
But as stated, Mages can use anyone for fuel in terms of magic, and this is proven.

Yes, Ferelden's circle was pretty nice and not all Mages are bad.

Petrice was a bitch, and not a Templar, in fact she is why the Arishtok attacked to begin with.
Also, Isebella is another reason why the Qunari were even there in the first place.

So yeah, Collectivly the Templars can be dickish, and even do vile things because they are people like anyone else.
But even then they mean well as an order by keeping others away from those who could otherwise sacrifice for power. Yeah, don't even pretend mages don't do that.

Also, let's not forget the large hordes of mages that flat out defect that just straight up do blood magic so they can basically say "Fuck everything." And this was long before the Templars increased their grip.

And, if you have a high enough realationship with Isabella, she stays with you anyways. So it isn't about what is "appealing" to her and your sister.

Let's also not forget Meridith is just a cruel character that even her own men side against. They are not for killing innocent people, but the tower became so corrupt because of revolts.

I rather same the many nameless factions vs the one faction that can use anyone as fodder fuel.

@SaarebasRight, but at least the Templars would defend the parties not involved.

And realistically, yeah one man does not equate to a whole group, but anyone in any government goes to profiling of what anyone is because no one would know how to rationalize that. You involved an innocent party. And killed said party.

But even in retrospect, these choices are grey. Yeah, mages do really fucked up shit. They are a step away from demons eveytime they do magic and feel oppressed because they are powerful? That is an illogical view and should instead of feel oppressed, they should go "Being here is less likely to harm the innocents." but no, they rather be selfish.

The Templars would rather only take down such a group, one group that can use any person as fuel for dark arts. I rather side with those Templars simply because "One group to endanger all other groups."
@SimplyJohnBoth.

Tower Mages supported in Origins.

Kirkwall mages not supported.
@Adorabadass Don't get short with me dwarf~

All joking aside, I really just saw the Kirkwall mages as illogical except for a FEW. (Like 2 of them.)
Okay, let's debate logic vs sympathy.

Mages lash out from a few bad apples, they go to extremes as an outcry rather than trying to reason with them.
Rather than be rational, they submit to power and become a weapon- a tool of the demons rather than try be diplomatic.

Templars might be dickish at times, but that isn't every templar you encountered, in fact there are way more cool Templars you will meet that are level headed and try to accommodate to acctully making things stress free. What do the mages do? They shit all over them simply because of what a few others do, and it isn't just "one" mage, they all collectivly decide to say fuck everything rather than try to use reason, and this forces Templars to disable them because they rather use their power to destroy rather then (again) submit to reason.

It is hard to be rational when your first choice is "Attack the Templars and then make others pity me with oppression, yet my first choice is to kill if it means I can be on the run and be a continuous danger." So yeah.

Do you have a counter argument?
