So, was making characters in Dark Souls 3 on Stream, and I made Karn on complete accident. XD
Cassius rubbed his temples at what was going on in front of him. "Hitori, did you really have to grow that out of your body? I could have went with you outside and helped you grow... that more naturally in the laws of nature way..." He did not understand the need for what he did... Rest would have sufficed for the night. Fortunately Garnet was having an easy time resting despite laying on just a robe. Granted she was dressed in players.

Cassius took a breath before turning around... Randy was in caring hands, but not before Cassius swiped a key from his pocket. "Kept it as I asked... Good of you." He gave the Engineer a soft caring hug. Boss to him or not, Cassius cared about those he worked with unconditionally to an extent. He looked to the chest that were brought back... and he found the red oak. Yes, it was exactly what he was looking for. Everything he was needing. He crouched down to unlock it before pulling out a small sack carrying metallic balls. He pulled out what was certainly more advanced than any Alexandrian arsenal... "Perfect." Cassius muttered as he gripped the weaponry... And just then.

"So, brought your own luggage... Looks expensive..." Blank was peering down at Cassius, going as far as to take his helmet.
"Yuup... For you simpletons... This is just an upgraded crossbow to you. But for those in R&D... This is a Prototype Rifle. A Ballistic weapon also refereed to as a 'Gun'." He pointed it to Blank and gave a teasing smile.

"Heh. You can ease up on the insults. I just stated it looks expensive..." He surprisingly did not seem upset.
"I... I'm sorry, it really was uncalled for of me. I'm just... not used to being around..." Cassius held his hand in front of him, index finger extended, wrist twirling.

"You can just say 'Socially awkward'. Though... You must be intelligent to work on that..." He crouched down.
"Well.... I did not work on it. I was told to take it if I feared... Anything would happen..." Cassius exhaled.

"Well. You must be fearful if you are taking it with you. Though... Seeing as you never been outside of Lindblum... I can see why you'd take it. Especially around me." Blank grinned.

"I could riddle you with holes if I were a sadist..." Cassius retorted.
"Whoa! I am just saying it is okay to be fearful of strangers!" Blank held both hands up, shaking them around... And then Cassius broke into light laughter, the rifle lowering down.

Blank found himself grinning once again... His reactions amused him greatly.
"You know? You're funny. It isn't the 'City' folk thing either. For lack of better words... Your responses are cute. Childish. Yet you speak with a rational tone and mindset... even with the questionable choice of words... I can see why Baku thinks you'd fit in here... With time of course. After all this... Princess business... Why don't we go... on adventures? Like... Now."

Cassius found himself placing his helmet on himself, further hiding expression... though Blank could see his eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I rather stay where I am needed... And speaking of needs..." Cassius stood up before walking over to the middle of the cabin like room, going as far as to stand on the table... oh the improper nature...

"Attention everyone. With your leader asleep, and drunk, I suggest we wait rationally, sleep and get whatever rest you can. Eat your rations sparingly. Talk a bit... But do not... waste your energy if you can help it... I repeat. Eat, rest, and then we move on. Tonight is the safest we will be for a long while... Not... everyone is going to make it..." Cassius felt his eyes somewhat wondering to Blank, maybe the shadows would conceal that...
So the relic weapons as stated will appear as good for the character in question. In Wylde's case I suppose rapier and light armor?

Yup. That is exactly what it will be if it is tailored to only what she'd use.

In this case, you'd have one material based Rapier. (The one she currently uses.)
And the one Naisha can give her, so she can use one that would break, and double up with her familiar's weapon, or just use one.

If Niasha is active. (As in directly able to speak to you, or give your status boost, like agility or resistance to whatever, you will have the relic gear. But if she falls in battle or you choose to have a flat state, you will not have any of those benefits. Or in some cases hindrances.)

I hope it is clear enough to where there is no confusion.
Mhm. Everything is tailored to your character. So... say your character would never use a spear? Then chances are you will never use a spear.
Here is a big update, I ask you all read.
_______________________________________________________-
Familiar: Because I'm changing the summoning up, everyone get's one. First come first serve, you can be creative. However, you start with just ONE. You get one to two additional magic types. One Resistance/ absorbance. And a passive. List the strengths it gives you, as well as the passive. Nothing stupidly powerful please.

Familiar Abilities: What the familiar gives you. Strengths and weaknesses.

Movement Type: Is it Stationary like a sentry? Does it fly? Or does it walk and run?

Familiar Size: Tiny (Like a mouse or Rat), Very Small (Puppy to kitty.), Medium (Human height.), Large (Somewhat close to a Behemoth.) Very Large. (Basically impossible to miss at this point.)

Relic Weapons: These appear when summoning the familiar, they will give it to you, and these are unbreakable, and only get stronger as the familiar gets stronger. These are tailored to your character. Meaning if someone gets gauntlets, it does not mean you will as well.

Relic Armors: Pretty much the same thing as above. Tailored to your character.

Note, these do effect the trances as well to some degree.
- That degree being that these items will get buffed up to some degree.
- These however do not disrupt your default trance.

Flat State. (Your standard CS reflects this already.)
- This basically means when your familiar is inactive. Relic gear disappears until that familiar is active.
- It also means your attributes return to base value. Meaning no buffs or debuffs to compensate.

Relic Items.
- These are unbreakable, but because of that they at times will not be as strong as the items you craft.
- These however are items that do get stronger as your familiar bonds with you in battle.

- In short, good alternatives to not destroying your gear. These are not required to be used when the familiar is summoned, but if you do not wish to use them, you can have the familiar handle it.

- These don't override your gear. Though Relic armors or robes will either go over your current attire, or under based on if you are wearing Knight like armor or not.

- However, if you wish for your clothing to shift to reflect your style, that is fine. But you should state what is overrides if you wish it to.

Familiar Sizes and movement types.
- Just basically gives me a way to gauge how they fight, move and function.
- The sizes basically mean how likely they are to draw attention or stay hidden.
- And how far they may or may not reach.

Example.

Familiar: Ifrit

Familiar Abilities: Grants fire and heat immunity, Fire Glyph. Lowers water defense. Slightly raises agility.

Movement Type: Ground, walks and runs, has wide reach.

Familiar Size: Large, slightly sluggish when moving.

Relic Weapons: Flaming clawed Gauntlets.

Relic Armors: Gives Cassius a red tint to his attire to reflect his heat immunity, as well as to reflect he has Ifrit active. The gauntlets also extend over the forearms to shield them.
Cassius was pleased to see everyone was in better spirits to some degree. Though he... did shrug at Hitori's response to him. As far as he saw it, it was just blind loyalty; not that he wasn't used to that from where he was from. It was just unusual to see such an older being act... like a domesticated animal to him... He found it oddly charming. Though... For the next few hours he found himself sitting next to Blank and Baku. There were many questions about to be answered.

Cassius took his helmet off as he swayed over. "Your friends are on their way. A vision shows their safe return, the red one is injured however... Though, it is nothing these lovely gentlemen can't fix." He grinned somewhat trying to show he was confident in those around him.

"I am curious... Who are you working for... Mr.Svent, was it?" The Leader holding the brandy took a light drink.
"Hmm... I suppose if we are in the same boat, it is better to dispense with the secrets..." Cassius tilted his head left to right, cracking his shoulders, adjusting his posture to sit up straight on the sideways barrel. Blank took a seat by him, somewhat poking his ears.

"Err....?"
"Sorry, just Karn never likes when I touch her ears, and let's be honest... You look to feminine to fight, you do have the Charisma to lead... But yeah, tell us who you are working with." He gave a slight grin at Cassius' eyebrow's slight twitch.

"If you must know, I am with the Regent of Lindblum. If you need to see papers, they are in my boot... not that they smell. I mean, the only thing here that reeks aside from the blood on your blades and breaths is just the half naked man swooning over me." Cassius closed his eyes in frustration. "And if you must know... I do know how to fight."

"Pompous when irritated... Yet sharp like a arrow and twice as fast... But what are you doing aside from... This...?" Baku looked to the resting Princess, she was laying on her white robes in her orange jumpsuit.

"There to- Here rather to be sure we don't have... unnecessary casualties..." Cassius felt his eyes shifting in Hitori's general direction as he rolled his shoulders.

"Well, I saw our ninja here talking to the Engineers... Want to tell me about that? I think we are all just dying to know."
"Here, here." Baku raised his glass before taking another drink.

"Simple, they work with me in Lindblum's research and development... I am... The next deputy director seeing as I have Ifrit... And the previous director held, but... That is something another will have to answer for... but seeing as he is no longer alive... I unfortunately have to take charge..." Cassius felt his hands clasping together, digits interlocking.

"So... You're like me. You like working, but hate taking responsibility?" Blank felt his grin recede slightly. He did not quite feel sorry for him, but he did want to understand the puzzle before him.

"Errr? No. Just I never expected to... Well... Stand in I guess? I'm just usually the guy who holds a list of things I need to check off, I don't bark orders around, I just inspect things. This is... New to me. I was not really one for... Fighting like he was, but seeing as he died... I am going to assume he did what he had to so we may safeguard the future... but... enough about me... What about you?" Cassius felt his gaze looking to the demi human who scratched his gut.

"A Pioneer of craft. I enjoy the stage, the lights, and the praise. And the literature. But where I came from? I did not have the most well versed of upbringings. But fuck the lords of Treno, the uppity rich bastards are why our city is in shambles... You can boast about trying to inherit all these meaningless treasures, but to what does that make a man?"

"Treasure does not make a man... A man makes the treasure, the journey, and the effort." Cassius replied lowly as he saw the man's gaze somewhat intensify.

"Exactly my point! So... All this? This was the result of me trying to have my own adventure, finding others with the same goal. Have fun, have women, have just everything at your fingertips even if just for a few nights, to going back to square one!" Baku roared with a resounding chuckle, at which startled Cassius. "Why do what you love once and quit after obtaining what you seek? It is such a thrill to go out swinging, exploring, and fighting in the vast wilds... To going into cities busted up with more loot... Then hold a play the day after, just to get a few hours of praise. Those are the people we call men. The people who build their lives. Just like how we built the Prima Vista. And a second one we shall build." He took a large swig.

"Heh, I suppose that is a stance to live by... risky and all... But, that does not sound very safe." Cassius looked down.
"Bah. Safe? Where is the fun standing behind a clipboard and checking list off? Where is the excitement? 'Oh here is a new product on the assembly line! Cheeeck!' Sod off with that 'Safe' life style. No adventure or passion! That is what you lack! But if there is one damned thing I see in you!? It is compassion!" At this point, Baku was poking Cassius in the shoulder.

"If you cared not for one bloody thing, you'd have left already. Your kind knows how to avoid death. Yet here you are, baby sitting us. Attempting to learn... But it does not have to end here with your adventure..." Baku at this point downed the bottle. Maybe he was just drunk rambling, to lecturing Cassius on his safe life style... But he wasn't wrong, and he cut him deep to the point where he held his breath, what little of it he had. "But no, you care enough to learn... you stood up to me earlier because you believed in it... and that is Tantalus material." With this, Baku proceeded to slam his fist into Cassius shoulder for Blank to catch him from rolling off the barrel.

Cassius just watched in awe... soon the crew returned... Then not too long after, Randy, Wylde and Karn.

Cassius stood up and helped Randy over to Garnet, Blank of course helped him, but Cassius did not speak, he had no words, but concern...

"Dren. Hitori... Think you can help out Randy...? I know he'll live and all... but these people should be treated..." Cassius took a breath. He sat by Randy for the time being.

"Heart not even gold can captivate... Heh." Baku fell back, a loud thud echoing in the planks of the ship.

Ada returned to Hitori's shoulder, but not before giving Karn a hug on the side.
Blank quickly recapped to Karn what she had missed, which wasn't very much... But it did not help their situation that their boss was laid out from the fatigue and brandy he drank.
With the immense trauma the plant was facing, it had no choice but to pull back, but to move effectively, it dropped the demi human.
From part of the absorption of the Vitality, he would more than likely need to be carried back. Though... this created the quandary of what the girls had to do. On one hand, it meant they could carry Randy back with ease, provided Ada lead the way. On the other, it meant they may have to drop some salvage. Either way, the plant was nearing the end of it's life... There was particularly rare flower petals on it's vines it used for arms.

"Go go go!" Ada cheered in Karn's mind as it rode on her shoulder, it's little arms flailing somewhat.

@ReaperNot that I have no interest, but I think I'll pass. I got my own project I need to monitor, and I don't want to jump into something late game if that makes any sense.
Cassius wasn't sure if he was supposed to fear Hitori more or less... The Princess however gagged at the scent of the blood.
"It's nice to see you in one piece. But you smell putrid from your... endeavors." Cassius turned as he looked at the torch-post they set up, arms crossed. Baku was sitting close to the wheel... Holding what looked like some form of brandy as he was drinking to his hearts content.

Blank somewhat glared at Hitori. "Hello to you too."
"Don't be bitter... Foxes can be one track minded Lad..." Baku exhaled with a low belch as he continued to sip at his brandy.

Cassius somewhat paced the floor, moving closer to Dren. "Not that I don't... appreciate your sense of loyalty. In fact is quite amusing. But... Me and the Princess are not the only people who are here... In a Vision... You stand on a stone visage, stone itself, look of hurt and betrayal on your petrified body..." Cassius turned around, swaying a bit. "I am trying to say... I don't command you and she does not command you. But if you are going to pledge some form of loyalty, like a domesticated being from a wild one? Then can you do me one favor? Interact with those who help around... Like say... Dren... You would not want him walking off on us in his time of need... Would you?" There was a slight cold, yet endearing smile Cassius gave off... From Clueless, to Innocent, Cunning all in a few mere interactions.

Garnet took note of his sense of Charisma. As a Leader to be, she would need to have a form of composition that lay beyond her mother's. It was impressive to see such a no name show some form of strength in his stance despite him being completely unarmed. "What do I call you sir?" She looked over to him inquisitively as a witness.

"Cassius Alexandros Svent... A... person of interest sent me." He gave a nod to her.
"I am..."
"I know who you are your highness. Sorry if I come off as... Curt.. But I rather not strain you in these trying times. So I ask you to try to get some form of rest. Please?" There was a slight plead visible in Cassius' expression- a frown really.

"Okay Mr.Svent." She bowed her head slightly as she sat down near the wall.
"Ohh. And this is Dren. He will be helping us." Cassius introduced the mage to her. To which she gave a smile to him, she did not really say anything, but she bowed her head understanding the effort he was putting in just by being there.

Meanwhile... Randy's struggle was in Vain, from the flurry of punches the Plant had received- The Plant known as "Prison Cage" Put up a rather harder fight compared to what the Goblins gave to them. It swatted it's tendrils at Naisha with relative ease... If not intercepted, she may as well be dismissed from the fight... During this process, the being absorbed a bit of Randy's life force for it's own. Truly a vile creature.
