@Shadow Dragon, it depends because the solution differs from person to person. But I just chat with my lover or play games with friends. Watch "Memes" with them. Ultimately, the little things.

Just tried Long Island Ice tea for the first time. I can see why people love this. Life is good.

Cassius took a breath of precious air before entering from the "Monarchy side" - the side that opposed Blank and Karn's character. In a realistic situation, he would never ally himself with anyone who tries to suppress anyone against their will.

"Oh my god... How do I improvise without killing anyone..." Cassius might have been a hunter, a person who did not quite excel at everything, but excelled at things in smaller burst... He had to think of a way to improvise without hurting Karn. He did not like the notion of blindly hurting others, but in Baku's case, he quite literally asked for it. But... It wasn't because of Karn's gender, but it was the simple fact he just did not like hitting others without cause... even if he can be quite irritated at times and quite literal. He has to be as a Hunter, but even he had a sense of humor somewhere... But never usually on the job.

Rather than Cassius blindly shooting precious ammunition at Karn, he removed the Precious metal from the Blunderbuss he carried and placed a gentle frost in there that he projected from his own body, he shot a cool mist at the "Dragon", it fired to look like a ball of snow; but it faded into a cold mist, the water could be felt easily without over saturating her. She must have been burning in there... he thought. Besides, he did not need words to help them, he just needed to look active and calm.

Monica meanwhile was preparing the ship. It took a lot out of her seeing as she usually watched Baku do so, but she had observed enough to be viable to him. If he were not shitfaced drunk, she'd ask him. But that never ends well.

"I! Shall not allow thee to disrupt this land's monarchy no more! Begone demon of hell!" Cassius had a natural regal tone to his voice. He had to help stall... Didn't he? Might as well start trying... "What am I doing with my life? I am pointing a weapon at a person in a prop... Doesn't this kind of make me look like a huge hypocrite on stage... Considering I am helping them Take the Princess...? Eeehh... This is just a play... I believe anyone should have the choice to choose what they want in life, but this just feels very wrong." He suppressed a chuckle before shooting another ball of condensed frost, it releasing a spray of mist. At least Karn and her cohort would not burn up... Though it might make Blank look sweaty...

"Normally... I would be against this... But this does help a character look like he is struggling... Hey! I did something useful! In Cassius' mind, he felt a bit more relaxed that... this was working better than he expected. It looked more convincing, and the Audience liked it for the most part, maybe not directly cheering him on, but the entire set piece.

The Queen was quite taken by the set piece. "Ooooh! Beatrix! Garnet is missing the best scene! A Dragon is a good sign of the Climax! And the Outfits get better as they switch actors out! But where is the fencer! She did astonishingly in the early act!" Brahne harked rather happily. Tantalus sure impressed Royalty.

Beatrix however was trying to observe the actions below... The footwork was steady enough, but she had never seen such a weapon, it seemed foreign to her. But she could understand the practical use of it. "It is just to compensate for a lack of skill..." she thought.
So bit of an update.

We will more than likely be having one last addition.
So far he seems like another support character based on our conversation.
@Silver Fox
Jumprope: YOU THOUGHT KUJA WAS THE VILLAIN! BUT IT WAS I! THE JUMPROPE!
<Snipped quote by CAS1006>

Thing was though, FF7 had the option to be turn base. Yes you had to wait for the action bar to fill, but you could still make it so the enemies don't attack until you make your move. Same with 8 or 9. As did most of the old ones. (Except when you had those event timers which happened in 7 to 10.) It was there. You could turn it on or off. And it helped at times when planning your next move on the bosses. 11 was more of the first ones you couldn't turn base. Was the plot odd in 7? Yeah. Did it make no sense sometimes? Yeah. Was it fun? Yeah.

Was all those little side things you could do that had no reason other than your enjoyment fun? Yeah. It's those what I love about Final Fantasy and just enjoy the story. And every one has a eye twitching flaw.

I don't particularly mind or not if you didn't like them, but won't stop me from my enjoyment. I'm more like Riv as barely anything makes me actually dislike a game. It's gotta be really poor for me NOT to enjoy something and have fun with it.

I honestly can't think of a game I truly dislike.

Also. In FF9. F those jumprope and play minigames. XD

Just woke up from my nap, and was the first thing that came to mind. The fucking Jump rope was the real enemy. Kuja was no threat to Gaia, it was fucking Jump Rope.

CHANGING PLOT GUYS!

@CAS1006 I will not judge you for the games you like and dislike. I will admit ff7 and 8 aren't perfect games. They have some bad parts and so on. I like them both a lot, but you don't it's fine. ^^

I think my biggest problem with 7 and 8 was they wanted to be so much more. But the Translations were not the greatest. And unfortunately that is a problem from that time period.

Like... If I'm correct, there were Four translations of Skies of Arcadia. There was the original Japanese one, Then the Japanese Nintendo one (I'm sure you can imagine what happened there.) And the two English ones. While there was more content in the Gamecube port, I'm sure they changed a lot more dialog to either fix problems with the original Dreamcast version, to straight up censorship.

SOA was a precious gem.
@CAS1006 I personally like most games I've played. Very few get my hate triggers, but witcher lists in the ones I REALY like. There be a few RPs I want to do eventually but it wont be anytime soon.

I wish I liked every game I played. But I'm so jaded by the ones I end up disliking.
Like... I'm probably going trigger you and Silver here, but I'll at least give my reasoning.

FF7, I hated it not because of who dies, but the whole story behind Cloud and Seph. It felt so... Needlessly convoluted, a huge chase to a problem that mostly fixes it self in the end. It is even more agitating that people are bitching going "Make it turn based!" It never was! There was a fucking Action Time Bar, and even then some enemies ignore it when you're placing a command in, hell, FFX is the only real turn based one.

Though I did not hate FF8, it was kinda just there for me. It boiled down to "Who do I hate least?" Quistis and Curtis. Even Riona.
It was a "It is an interesting concept, but I can live without the Battle system. It was fine before." I at least appreciate it did try to blend fantasy with enough modern concepts. Like how you leave by train at the start, and at water based ships. It was nice because it felt realized to that end. But Scipher to me just felt like Gary Oak. Sure, he is meant to be annoying, and has plot reasoning. But he was just a throw away character to me.

The only problem I had with FF9, was slow combat. Aside from that it felt like a perfect game. The Minigames were not boring or broken. Even fun to a degree, which says a lot about it already.

TL;DR: I did not care for FF7, I can live without 8, but at least they got it right at 9.
I do however like the Guardian Force for FF8, it did partially inspire the Familiar system of this rp. And a weee Bit of SMT.

@rivaan <3

We must gush about this wonderful franchise forever.

Like... I like a crap ton of other games. But... I don't think every one of them ever fully realizes themselves. Like you have rare examples like Xenosaga, FF9 (Duh, if I did not like it, I would not try making this fun.), FFX (I could do a recreation of that, but I rather not just rehash it. It is a great game on it's own.) Paper Mario Thousand Year Door to a degree.

The list unfortunately does not go on too far. Oh yeah. KOTOR 2. Kraya was just... Amazing character.
My mother ordered the Dishonored Definitive edition, so I'll have that next week. (Hopefully it is super amazing.)
There is Also Wild Arms 3 I'd like to add to that list, which explores complicated inner struggles in a dying world.

There are a couple other games I want to say has greatness, but I really need to remember.
@rivaanIt is one of those series that feels just simply perfect. It made writing fresh for me again, and even passionate.

Like... Geralt is easily the most human character for example. And he technically isn't human anymore. Just... Such a perfect series.
Nothing really. Just chilling and playing some witcher 2

I love that series so much, I just want to hug you right now. XD
Anyways, what are you guys up to?
