I am new, but please don't hold that against me. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and experience all the writing styles and fun just waiting to be had. I do love to write, stories and the like, and been role playing with friends for a while. I’m not really up with some of the terminology that might be used on a forum like this, so please be patient if my references are a little bit off.

I can enjoy pretty much any genre and era as long as my partner and I get along and we agree on all those important things, like limits and content and basic plot ideas. I was going to say ‘terms and conditions’, but I don’t really require your John Hancock. Haha! Yep, ‘Fill out the form and put your signature at the bottom of the page!’ Oh boy!

Posting Speed

~I probably won’t be able to post every day, and I don’t need that from my partner either. You know work, school, picnics in the park, long walks on the beach and beating up bullies in the alley. All that sort of stuff actually exists out there, so a general chill factor in posting speed is good for me~

Quality

~I prefer effort put into legibility and proper grammar, partly because I just appreciate writing, but it is also a courtesy thing I think. I’m not claiming to be the best writer in the world, far from it, but I will do the best I can and hope my partner has similar standards~

Length

~Size does matter to me, well, a little bit. It’s nice to read - or write - something with body and depth and substance, and this usually means a few paragraphs or more. This is just a general thing – so don’t worry, I know there can be times when responding doesn’t require all that much. I just don’t like getting involved in a procession of one-liner posts~

Characters

~I really, really, really enjoy creating my own characters. Quite often I will just write a description if I can’t find a good piece of art out there that comes close. Not saying my partner should be like this too, just don’t expect me to post an image of celebrities or fan fiction characters when it comes to characters~

Romantic Content

~Ahh, yeah. I’m just going to go ahead and be straight-up honest about it. Romance can be nice, and a little ‘Oops - that was a bit naughty!’ can be alright too, but Pleeeeaaaase don’t expect me to think that smut is essential. Crikey! For me adult content is fine and can be great, fun, exciting etc etc, but sex needs to be tasteful~

Violence and ‘Oh-no, I lost a few fingers!’

~Yeah, I’m fine with that stuff and do it myself at times. Long as it isn’t invalid, like disembowelling someone just because 'Yay, I can!'. Keeping things in tune with the plot is nice~

'Plots and Genres'

Genres

~I would have selected more than 7 tags if I could, so there's no question I like a good dose of variety! Lately I have had a craving for Fantasy or Sci-Fi or Slice of Life. No specific era in mind. I really don't mind mixing it up a little if you aren't opposed to cocktails. Mixing things up, or keeping things genre-specific, either way floats my boat~

Plots

~RP's with a lot of adventure are so much fun! Again, I don't want to restrict possibilities by being too specific. That said, I do have a few things in mind. 1; Two criminals form a mutually beneficial relationship in order to escape the clutches of the law, and commence on an outrageous journey in their efforts to obtain freedom. 2; A sinister power threatens to destroy a civilization while two unlikely hero's join forces to vanquish said evil and save their people... even if they don't really want to. You know what? I'm going to stop right there. There are so many possibilities and I would absolutely adore it if you shared your ideas with me and we flesh things out together!~
