Lorna Dunn

Location: Boston Heights

Rolling her eyes so hard at Alicia's antics, Lorna had to blink a few times to be sure she hadn't strained anything. Certain that her eyes were in good working condition to be able to enjoy watching the Derby tonight, she stretched out in the car and enjoyed the ride back home. That was until they got there and the street was littered with squad cars.

"The fuck is goin' on?"

Lorna mirrored Alicia's sentiments and climbed out of the car once they were parked up. She perked a brow as she listened to the cop with the notepad questioning them.

"Kind of? I met the Whites yesterday, didn't talk too much with 'em but they seemed nice enough. Marlestone was quiet but respectful from what I can recall. Lived with the Russian girl but not sure which flat exactly. Did somethin' happen to the Whites?"

The response from the police officer was not one she had been expecting. Sure she knew about Marlestone from the news that morning before work but the Whites? Lorna thought about Lawson then and realised that they'd been friends. She cringed as she realised that this would mean tonight would either be cancelled or strained.

"I can confirm that, I was with her. We work together. Should be camera footage to that affect too that we can provide to support it if required." Lorna folded her arms across her chest and stared the police officer down as if daring him to question them further on the matter.

After the police officer decided it wasn't worth pushing them right now, he gave them a curt nod and went back about his business leaving them to head inside as they pleased. "Wonder how long until they come knockin'?" She shrugged and started to make her way with Alicia to the flat then noticed Lawson coming up and out of his place. "I'll catch up, if I don't see you before you head out for your match - break a fuckin' leg bitch." She grinned and clapped Alicia on the back before walking over to Lawson.

"Hey. I'm sorry about Cameron and his wife. Look, if ya need t'cancel or postpone tonight I understand. It's... It's been a hell of a couple of days. Won't hold it against ya." She crossed her arms across her chest again and cocked her hip out as she stood before Lawson. She felt bad for the guy and wouldn't mind being able to help to take his mind off shit but she didn't want to force it either.
@SouffleGirl123 Yeeee. I don't get breaks. Either I'm sick or someone I'm close to is sick and I'm taking care of them and then just rinse and repeat the cycle.

We are the buddies of the sneezing, spluttering and spewing. :D

Dr. Victor Bonheur

Location: Infirmary.

On hearing what had happened between Zoie and Richard, Victor laughed before coughing from the laughter and then wincing from the effort of both these actions together. "Oh merde! Bad idea, very bad idea. Merdermerdemerde, zut!" He could feel his heart rate spiking but managed to calm it enough to a reasonable level where it didn't hurt anymore after a few seconds of uneven breathing. He held a hand up towards Astrid and smiled through it. "I'm okay, I'm okay."

Victor slowly raised a hand and patted Ash on the forearm as he spoke to him. "Not to worry, I'll be 'ere and listening to mΓ©decin mademoiselle dans la formation." He glanced over to Astrid and gave her a warm, albeit weak, smile. "I will take the bed rest 'appily right now. I promise I won't be difficult."

Victor was unused to seeing Captain Ash making jokes and it was a nice change even if it was only happening due to his inability to remain conscious for a reason that may not actually be as illusive as believed. Victor heard the crackling of Ash's radio and looked at it in confusion while blinking rapidly. "More oddballs for the pot called Newnan?" He waved farewell to Ash as he left to see to his duties and then turned his head back to Astrid, a pleased smile on his face and a twinkle in his previously unresponsive eyes.

"So, where do you start with this situation? Remember, there are no wrong answers." He was never one to miss a learning opportunity.
Richard Johnson

Location: Zoie's House

Richard glanced up as she spoke and he still chose to keep his trap shut. He nodded as she asked him to stay but he could barely even look at her. He felt like absolute shit but he wasn't so much of an asshole that he'd leave her in her time of nee-- It was odd having her kiss him again. He wasn't complaining, she tasted just as nice as she always did. Sweetness on sweetness but he still didn't feel like he deserved it. As she pulled away, he rose a hand up to his lips and felt where hers had just pressed. He was out of it for a second before he realised he'd missed something.

Did she just say please? He watched after her as she turned on heel and walked down the hallway. She was nice as could be and polite in her own way but never in such an open and obvious way as to say please. What was wrong with her? It couldn't just be on him and the shit he'd put her through, could it? If it was Richard had a hell of a lot more self-punishment to inflict before he'd feel worth her time again.

Standing up and pacing back and forth in the sitting room, Richard savoured his cigarette and then realised that he was stinking Zoie's place up with the smoke. "Shiiit..." He walked over to the front window and opened it up, pulling the curtains away from the frame as much as possible and then slung a leg over the ledge and sat on it with the cigarette hanging from the outside arm. Each time he drew from it he made sure to blow the smoke outside to try and keep her house not smelling like his sorry ass. His right leg swung back and forth as it dangled down the front of the building and he looked out onto the street at the spot where Zoie had been laying beneath Miss Lilly's corpse.

Shuddering and closing his eyes as he leaned his head backwards on the frame of the window, Richard sighed and tried to clear his head. As he stopped moving and focusing, he could hear the music that was playing while Zoie showered and he frowned while his eyes were shut and listened to the lyrics of the song. He half figured she'd put it on on purpose but then realised that their music choices were fairly fucking limited so she probably hadn't chosen it on purpose.

The thought crossed his mind about just swinging his other leg over and leaving rather than listening to the damn song but the way that Zoie had asked him to stick around? He couldn't do that to her. He kept his perch on the windowsill and was glad for the music being switched off. He physically felt the tension leaving his chest but the knots in his back and shoulders remained. Fuck. This wasn't going to be easy.

After relaying the message, despite her discomfort in doing so, Bryn hipped the walkie and then quietly thanked the Newnanite for helping her move the body for burial. Glancing back over to her new sister, Bryn grabbed the other shovel and began to help Bridgette dig in silence. The two of them working together would make fairly short work on this and then they could get back to work on the wall. The silence was nothing new for Bryn but with Bridgette being so silent it was a new experience.

As Bridgette's voice sounded out in a smaller than normal method, Bryn stopped digging and glanced up to her and smiled. "Don't mention it." They continued digging until the hole was completed. Bryn moved over and picked up the upper end of Miss Lilly's body and nodded towards the legs and watched Bridgette. "We'll get started on the wall as soon as we're done. We can just eat outside instead of the mess hall." She wasn't one to talk normally but it seemed like Bridgette needed something to focus on that wasn't the deceased body of one of the Newnanites. It was particularly strange for her motormouth to be out of fuel and it made Bryn uneasy if truth be told.

As the car fired forward, Svetlana gripped the sides of the truck and felt her eyes widening so much she was genuinely surprised that they didn't burst out of her head. She wondered how she could communicate to him to slow the fuck down when he clearly didn't understand her. Glancing over at the back of the truck, Svetlana saw Amelia pretty much reacting the same way as she was. She looked over to Ed and heard him speaking to her and she just looked at him with incredulousness at how stupid he was. They had yet been able to communicate with his language and yet he continued to speak it towards her despite him knowing she was unable to speak it. What an asshole.

As he drove faster and faster, Svetlana couldn't bite her tongue anymore and decided to call out in Spanish. "‘‘‘Ve mÑs despacio!!!" Hopefully his minor understanding of the Spanish language would allow him to know what she was screaming at him otherwise this was going to look an awful lot like a car jacking or a kidnapping. As soon as she got the chance she was going to slap him senseless. She was really starting to regret not shooting him...
@Lady Amalthea Done. I'll get a post out for Lincoln tomorrow. Not feeling the best still today.

Yes I came home early from work.
Yes I've been sleeping through it.
Yes I'm drinking my fluids.
No I'm not going in to work tomorrow but I am working from home...

Interacting With: Cass: Amber @SouffleGirl123 Then: Each Other

Cass grinned at Amber. "Aye, it's plenty fun so far even if it is hotter than a two doller pistol." She fanned herself and laughed as Amber lamented over the fact that she couldn't have Cass as her guide. "Dinnae worry yer wee bonnet, pal. Murphy is the tour guide 'round 'ere. Nae worries." She grinned as she thought about Claire. "'round 'bout 'eh year mark, give or take.

As Amber's attention turned to Desh, Cass chanced a glance to see if Claire had come back yet from where ever Alc had dragged her off to. That lad must be itching for some one on one time, poor lamb. She heard Amber's next comment and snorted with laughter. "Barely know 'im 'nd I'm best pals wae his wee sister. Although if yer question is would I..." She winked at Amber and smirked as she made a rather crude gesture with her hands that went something like this. "Does 'eh square root of pi equal 1.77245?"

While munching on some breakfast and not knowing what to make of more than half the tastes filling her mouth, Cass continued answering Amber's questions. "I studied multimedia and web dev, sounds pretty borin' t'most but I love it." Their conversation was short lived as the commotion outside grew louder and more prominent. It wasn't long until Cass ran off and Amber was left to tend to the drunken Desh.

Murphy watched Tasha hobble off with Lincoln and smirked to himself before letting his head hit against the concrete; letting out a deep breath in the process as he rested his bruised hand against his battered chest. It had been a hell of a tumble and for him was actually a lot of fun. He doubted it was fun for Lincoln but from what he could tell the man needed to let off some steam. Looking over towards Cass he gave her a crooked and bloodied grin. "You're wish be me command Lass, just give me a day to heal," he laughed slightly. Nodding towards Amber as she went back into the dining room before sitting up slowly and grunting. God, he didn't know what was worse. The way Lincoln laid into him or the way Tasha did.

Cass smirked and then considered what was best to do next. She was no medical professional, unlike the woman that just helped to kick the shit out of him. She scowled as she wondered what to do to help him up. "Ye gonnae be okay gettin' up? I can give ye a hand?" She stood up and held both her hands out to him, waiting to see if it was even feasible with the state he was in.

Murphy reached and took her hands, pulling himself up. He stumbled a bit, hissing through his clenched teeth as he grabbed his ribs with one hand. Turning he spit out a mouthful of blood. Cass was used to that part, she'd seen Claire do it enough after some of her fights. "Yeah, ain't nothin' lass. Been through worse," he chuckled as he looked back over to her and tried to shake his sweat and blood damp hair out of his face. "I pushed his buttons. Got the fight I was goading fer."

Cass flinched as some of it sprayed onto her face and she wiped her left cheek with the back of her wrist to get some of the droplets off of her. "Nae doubt ye've been more battered than ye are now but fuckin' 'ell they dinnae half gang up on ye at 'eh end... If she wisnae yer friend I'd 'ave jumped in with ye."

"Ahh, ain't be nothin. Tasha just be gottin' a temper is all. Though, damn she got a mean right," he said rubbing his jaw a bit. "But, least I be knowin' now just what she thinks of the guy. A fight with her be telling me more than whatever words I can be pulling out of her ya know?" Cass reached out and lightly rubbed his arm, dusting him off slightly from the grit and dirt from laying on the ground. Her gentle strokes moved around to dust off his back as well where she saw a semi-footprint in the mess. Her eyes took in the sight of him and she smiled to herself. Murphy watched her closesly and gave a goofy grin from behind his busted lip.

"Ye feelin' all manly now tha' ye got yer buddy 'nd mystery hottie ex-fiance t'talk?" She grinned a little more to herself before she moved back around to the front of him and put her hands on her hips as she watched him.

Murphy puffed out his chest a bit and grinned down at her. "Damn skippy I be, gonna give me a kiss fer me good deed?" he said winking before looking around a bit and then back over to her. Trying to pucker his lips all goofy like but it wasn't happening. He hissed as he held his bottom lip.

A snort of laughter erupted from her and she just shook her head. "Aye Murph, jus' right as soon as ye can actually move yer lips where it willnae feel like I'm kissing an oozin' fish." She beckoned him forward and rolled her eyes while smirking. "C'mon romeo, let's get ye cleaned off and see 'ow bad 'eh cuts actual are." She held her hand out and let him decide if he needed support or not to walk. "Which floor is yer room on?"

"Second flooh, do steady me," he said as he took her hand and let her lead him out of the court yard and up the stairs. Looking at the broken spot she and Claire had crashed because of he shook his head, reminding himself to give Desh an ass beating for that one after he was healed up. Stepping over it he grunted a bit and nearly face planted into the top step before catching himself. She helped to maneuver him up the crazy dangerous stairs and helped him catch himself even if he did think it was just him.

"Be yer fault I'm banged up. Had to be a good guy, had to do something manly to impress ya," he teased as he walked to his room, without a door. Well there was a door there but it was just kind of leaning against the wall. Stepping in the place looked a wreck, not from him but from the ceiling that had collapsed in earlier that day.

"Ye only had t'stand on yer head and down a pint to get on my good side, ha!" Smirking, Murphy made a mental note to remember that. She followed him towards his room and then stopped short before she burst out laughing. "Oh lord! This is jus' too fuckin' good! So much for gettin' rested and cleaned up here..." She was bent over double, laughing away as she held onto her sides and gasped for breath. It was ridiculous! This "illustrious" hotel, as Desh would call it, was a total fucking dump! "I really gotta be changing out rooms to the first floor. Least them fuckers have air conditioning," he muttered looking at the place and snatching up some clothing off the floor.

Wiping the tears from her eyes and fanning herself both to cool down and to calm herself, Cass took some deep breaths before grinning at Murphy. "C'mon, seems we're goin' up another floor. I dinnae think we even 'ave a roof that could fall in!" She hooked his arm gently around her shoulder and wrapped her arm around his side, being careful with his ribs, and guided him up the next flight of stairs and to the room that Cass shared with Claire. Smirking as they passed Tasha's room he banged on the door. "Better be playing nice in there!" he yelled as they passed, knowing he probably just startled the shit out of Tasha and laughing to himself.

"Oi! Ye got in this state t'get 'em t'gether now yer tryin' t'interrupt? Mental man, totally mental." Cass just shook her head and laughed lightly.

She opened the door and let him walk in first, knowing she could catch him if he stumbled. Closing the door behind them he looked around, yup Claire had obviously been here. The place was messy, clothing and underwear strewn everywhere from their attempts at getting dressed earlier that morning. "Y'know where 'eh bed is, I'll get some cloths 'nd water if the taps are wantin' t'work."

Tossing his clothes on the bed he kicked his shoes off carefully. "Turn yer head lass if you ain't wanna be seeing me goods. I gotta get out of this shit," he said as he started to undo his belt.

Although she was busy getting water and towels together, she couldn't help but glance over and pull a face as she appreciated the sight of him stripping off. Claire would probably clock her round the head if she saw her but she wasn't here and Cass wouldn't care even if she was, well... maybe a little but not enough! Raising an appreciative eyebrow, Cass grinned and then got back to gathering everything she thought they needed. "If yer so shy, ye best tell me when yer decent 'cause yer cuts ain't gonna clean themselves!" She stole another peek as she waited for his answer.

"Hey, that be fer your sake, not mine. Look if ya want," he taunted her as he kicked his jeans off and pulled out a cigarette.

"Already am!" She answered happily, watching him walking into the bathroom from the corner of her eye at her spot at the toilet sink.

Lighting it up he strolled over to the shower and turned the knobs. Nothing came at first, but a quick hit to the wall and it sprang to life. Taking a deep puff he held the cigarette between his lips as he turned his back to the water and let it just stream down over him. Letting out a little moan as his muscles relaxed a bit under the water. It stung like a mother fucker but wasn't the first time he had been in this condition.

A satisfied smile spread across her face as she heard the noise he made but she wouldn't be so obvious as to stare, that wasn't very ladylike. She snickered to herself and made sure the taps were turned off tight. With the shower now occupied, Cass took the weird ceramic jug she had made full of water with it's matching weird, ceramic bowl and moved to sit them on the bedside table. She kicked Murphy's jeans out of the way a little as she moved and stumbled some with the water jug, spilling it down her top.

"Son of a fuckin' bitch..." She placed the jug down and set the bowl on the bed before walking over to her bag by the windowless windows and began to dig for another vest top. Having found something that resembled one, she sat it on the window ledge and then grabbed her shirt's bottom hem and lifted it up and over her head in a fluid motion before throwing it into the ever growing mess in the room.

Murphy glanced over his shoulder, a bit of ash falling from his cigarette and chuckled a little. "Aww lass, if ya going to be giving me a wet t-shirt moment, could wait until I can pay better attention," he laughed before flicking the butt of his smoke out the window. Lowering his head he let the water stream over him, streams of blood, sweat, and grim running down his body and flowing down the drain; the thick colored liquid getting clearer and clearer as each moment passed.

She then realised her undergarments were wet as well and opted to slip it off before putting her dry top on. Wetness and warmth were not a good combination. The lack of undergarment was quite literally a breath of fresh air and Cass's eyes widened and she then realised she would not be wearing a bra again while in India if it meant this much air circulated her body. Happy with her new attire, Cass walked back to the chair that held the towels near the shower area and gave Murphy a quick wink before walking back over to the bed and setting herself down comfortably.

"Lemme know if ye want yer back scrubbed!"

Turning off the water he shook his hair out and rubbed the water off his face. Turning around he looked over at Cass and smiled through his black eye and busted lip. "Think you just be wanting to touch me tattoo's is all," he teased before holding his hand out. "Gonna toss me a towel or you want me drenching your floor?"

"The towels are literally right there. The heat in 'ere 'nd 'eh floor'll dry up right quick. I ain't worried." She smirked as she watched him with a raised eyebrow. Her face was daring him to strut out, dripping wet and completely starkers. She propped herself up with her elbows and watched him, her ankles crossing over each other as she rocked her feet from side to side, just watching him with a cheeky smile plastered on her face.

Murphy shrugged a bit as he stepped out of the shower and walked over to her, grabbing a towel and not giving two shits in the wind if she looked at his family business. He had 8 siblings, there was no such thing as privacy growing up. Shaking out his hair again over her he smirked before taking the towel and drying off. He had been in the city a while now and the heat didn't bother him near as much as it used it. It was still hot as fuck but he had learned to deal with it.

Her eyes watched his face mostly with only a few choice glances downwards at opportune moments. She liked what she saw but she wasn't a complete and utter pervert. She only wanted a full and proper good look if they were ever getting down to the "business". (How adult.)

Grabbing his clothing he got dressed from the waist down, fastening his belt before he flopped down on the floor in front of her. Crossing his legs he pulled his knees up and draped his arms over them as he held his shirt in one of them. "Think I am gonna have to bother the doc, ribs fucking feel cracked," he grunted as the pull of having his hands up pinched at his side. He wasn't surprised. He had taken a hell of beating from both of them. Granted he had given one right back. Oh just wait till his sister saw him. She as gonna loose it.

"Ye might wanna interrupt them if ye need 'eh help. I can't do much more than clean it 'nd put a plaster on it." She shrugged and gave him a small, sympathetic smile. She figured he'd loved the fight, he was Claire's brother after all, but didn't mean she liked seeing him badly hurt. Sure she could handle a fist fight if she had to or if she felt like it, but Murphy had been giving a bit of an arse kicking from both sides.

"No worries lass, I'll just have doc patch me up with me ribs, the rest should heals right up," he said with a toothy grin. At least he hadn't had any of his teeth knocked out in the fight, that would have sucked. He hated going to dentist.

She scooted forward on the bed and sat the end of it, her legs dangling off the bottom. Her feet hardly touched the ground so she just let her legs swing a little back and forth. "Want me to go ask for her to help or ye fine t'do it yersel'?"

"Considering the mood she be in, mights be a good idea if me be the one knockin' on the door. Don't wants to be walking into anything," he chuckled as he reached out and rested his hands on her knees. Leaning up as he started to stand he pressed a soft kiss to her cheek before standing up. Tossing his shirt over her shoulder he winked. "I be right back, don't you go running off. Still gotta take you and Ambers out for a tour of the city," he laughed before holding his side and walking slowly out the door.

Turning he went over to Tasha's door, banging a few times on it and about to say something when the door fell off it's hinges and landed flat on the ground within Natasha's room. "Well fuck me..."

Her eyes stared transfixed at her screen and then it began to ring. It was Kai. She took the call and got him off the phone as quickly as she could. She could barely even breathe evenly nevermind hold a damn conversation. In the moment, she had lied to him and Ada. She felt awful but she didn't want those two talking about her staying at Marc's last night. She didn't need that on top of everything else. She gripped her phone tightly and just remained in her position on the floor. Her limbs felt like jello, shaking and wobbling each time she tried to move them.

She vaguely heard her the room door being knocked but didn't respond. Not long after, it pushed open and then she heard Marc's voice. Of course it was Marc, she was in his parent's house. Wasn't really all that surprising but something about it being Marc that was there in this moment made her flinch in surprise. She watched his eyes, the worry clear as day within them, as he tried to find out what was wrong with her. She felt hollow if truth be told, her mind was a million miles away and her gut was plummeting through the centre of the Earth right now. She couldn't stop shaking.

Licking her dried out lips, Ashley glanced away from Marc as he stroked her hair and then wrapped her in his jacket, helping her get up onto her feet. She flicked her phone on, unlocked it and opened the message before showing it to Marc.

"Someone is trying to mess with me, probably someone thinking it's a good idea to pull a prank. I'll be honest, it scared the hell out of me but I'm okay now. I-I'll be okay." Her voice cracked a couple of times and she wrapped her arms around herself and hugged her chest. Her fingers curled around her arms and she squeezed them, just to prove to herself she was still here and not dreaming.

Well no one could say that he wasn't a gentleman, that was for sure. Jasmin smiled and thanked him for his kindness as she climbed into his truck and bid farewell to her Lexus as Lawson climbed into the driver's side. She glanced over and was about to ask him something but the question completely let her mind and she raised a questioning eyebrow at the weapon that he pulled from practically no where. "I do hope you don't plan on actually using that thing? Shit really is serious... It's just... Wow, I never thought my ten year reunion would turn into a media circus." She ran her fingers through her ponytail and draped it across her left shoulder.

She buckled herself in and then played with the ends of her hair, her fingers deftly making small braids as she sat in the car and Lawson drove. She glanced towards him now and again and smiled in an awkward yet comfortable fashion. She put the radio on fairly quickly and let the local radio station play. It kept broadcasting mentions of the deaths that had happened and then mentioned the picnic today. As quickly as she had turned it on, it was off again. "Sorry, thought there might be some music on the station but I forgot how news hungry the media is around smaller towns." She sighed and pulled her cell out, looking through her Facebook feed and finding more than a few status updates from people here at the reunion talking about how they think the killer is after them and that they're in so much danger and all the usual bullshit that comes with these kinds of events.

"I swear people become so self absorbed when it comes to these kinds of situations. At least half of the people I have on Facebook from high school are talking about how they're next and that it's all their fault that people are dying. Fucking idiots, no wonder I didn't keep in touch." She locked her phone and threw it into her handbag. She glanced over to Lawson with an apologetic look on her face. "Sorry, I get more than a little touchy sometimes."

Glancing towards the road, Jasmin realised that they were practically at their destination. She had forgotten how small Grimm really was.

"Yeah, of course Anela. Let's go get our girl then get you sorted for the day." He started the truck up and got it moving. Once he was comfortably driving, he wrapped his less needed arm around Ada and glanced down to her and smiled. "So what kind of phone am I treating you to? Something flashy and overpriced or a heap of junk that looks like a brick but refuses to break? I'm thinking we need the latter since your previous phone was destroyed so very easily by the ground..."

He ran his fingers through her hair and then gently down the side of her neck before resting his hand on her shoulder. "I'm really worried about Ash. She sounded off on the phone, right? I mean, that wasn't just me... You heard it too right?" He was glad that Ada hadn't continued storming off on him that morning, it was so nostalgic having her with him again. It honestly felt like they'd never been apart. Except that they had. There was so much hurt in their lives all because of him and his decision. His grip tightened on the wheel and his knuckles turned white. He held onto Ada tighter and rested his cheek on top of her head, breathing her in and keeping her close.

Everything was so fucked up before and now... Kai had no idea what was going to happen but he knew one thing. He'd protect Ada with his life. He owed her that much and so much more.

Bryn gave Zoie a silent nod in return and watched as she led Richard away into her home. She wasn't sure what was going on with those two today. She was sure as hell that Richard was never going to win Zoie back but apparently he was doing something right for her. She had grown close to him over a short span of time but that was before she learned about his lack of respect for those he was supposed to care for. It's why she had stepped back from their friendship.

As Bridgette approached her, Bryn turned and smiled in response to her words. Then the awkward silence fell and before Bree could leave, she clasped a hand on Bridgette's shoulder as she heard her proposal. "I'll help." Walking towards the body of Miss Lilly, Bryn hooked her crossbow strap over her head and made to try and move the body. Another of the Newnan residents, one of Miss Lilly's neighbours, had came out once it was all said and done and helped Bryn move the body to the burial site where she would need to be moved to. Grabbing the walkie from her hip, Bryn prepared to talk into the thing for the first damn time.

"Miss Lilly is dead. Body is being prepared for burial. Orders, boss?" The radio crackled as she awaited the response from Ash.

Dr. Victor Bonheur

Location: Infirmary.

For the what felt like the second time today, Victor felt his eyelids fluttering. He felt a warm, all encompassing pressure and warmth on one of his hands and he glanced in the direction of it and followed the blurry hands up the blurry arms to the blurry face framed by golden braids and frizz. "...Astrid..?" His head was swimming and he felt completely out of sorts. He tried to sit up and found that he had no strength to do so. Another voice this time, masculine and familiar.

His head flopped over to find the source and a blurry face with short hair looked down on him. He had no idea who it was but that was just because he couldn't keep his eyes open fully just yet. He took some deep, ragged breaths and felt his eyelids becoming lighter and lighter as time ticked forward. What felt like hours was mere seconds and Victor's eyes fluttered open. He looked around and saw his infirmary at an unfamiliar angle. "Why am I in a patient's bed? My room is very close, you could have just plopped me down there for my nap..." He made a soft, stupid smile and then shut his eyes as he took a deep breath.

"'ow long was I out?"

He hadn't expected her to rest against him again but he was glad when she did. He rested his arms around her and let her lean on him as much as she wanted but he didn't hold her tightly, not like earlier. He was giving her the choice to get out if he wanted to, he didn't want to make her feel forced to stay close to him at all. He was surprised when she kept hold of him as she turned to leave. He didn't want to fight against her so followed her lead.

She opened the door to her place and led him inside. He looked around and felt his jaw tensing as he realised that he'd thrown everything away because of a stupid mistake and bruised pride. He slowly let go of Zoie's grip and walked into the sitting room area. He felt very uncomfortable here, after all the time they'd spent fighting. Even if it had only been a couple weeks it felt like a lifetime in this world. Sighing lightly, he sat down on one of the chairs and kept his rear balanced on the edge of it as if he was about ready to bolt from there if things should turn South.

Slipping some fingers into his front vest pocket, he grabbed a cigarette and placed it between his lips before finding a matchstick and firing it up to light it. He only had a few left but this was definitely a requirement. He kept silent and subdued until she spoke to him. He didn't want to risk upsetting her or doing anything stupid. He did his best when he just kept his stupid mouth shut.

Location: On the road

Ignoring Ed as much as possible once he agreed to help with the battery (also a little before he agreed), Svetlana made a point to check out the cars. Amelia had had he same idea and managed to come away with some bottles of water and some jerky. Grumbling to herself about the untrustworthy chick finding all the good shit, Svetlana searched the busted up Sedan some more and found the most glorious of all holy grails - small snack sized snickers square. Her mouth began to salivate at the idea of sweet goodness.

Deciding that she deserved this treat all for herself, she slipped it into her pack and buried it deep inside so that it wouldn't fall out. Happy enough with her spectacular find she made her way back over and watched Ed finish up the hashing of work on the truck. She was ready to jump into the driver's seat but Ed's usual non-sensical bullshit caused her to stop before slipping into the driver's seat. She watched him with a confused look on her face and only looked away when she heard Amelia calling out. She turned and noticed the Walkers making their way down towards them. She figured Ed wanted to drive and, considering she had managed to blow out the tyre of their last ride and ruin her hard earned collection of gas maybe it wasn't a bad idea if she didn't drive for a change. Plus she could do with some shut eye.

Running around the front of the truck and into the passenger side since Amelia was in the bed. She didn't bother saying anything, she just stared at Ed expectantly and then rolled her eyes before pointing to the steering wheel, then to him and then to the walkers and finishing it off with a "hurry the fuck up" motion with her hands to try and speed him up. No doubt as soon as Ed got in and started drivnig they'd be able to put a good distance between them and the dead. Svetlana felt the patched up gash on her head and winced, that was most likely going to leave a scar. Her poor, beautiful, little angel face. She pouted slightly before slumping back in her chair.

Lorna Dunn

Location: Queensguard Industries RnD Industrial Complex - The Diamond District >> Boston Heights

Thanking Alicia, Lorna got to work as best she could while El Jefe rambled on. Giving a nod towards Caesar as he slipped in and out of English, Lorna let him just get it out of his system as she worked on the translation from the video. As he bid farewell, Lorna smiled and gave a tip of her cap as he departed. Lorna perked a brow as she listened to the recording. She turned to Alicia and made a slightly concerned face, her lips thinning before she spoke. "Well... This was pretty basic and generic listenin'. They were bein' told to hurry up by the bitch, them sayin' they were working super fast, boss lady then threatenin' them with bigger boss lady, them then speedin' the fuck up. Seems bigger boss lady isn't to be trifled with." Shrugging her shoulders, Lorna pocketed the pad and pen before standing up and stretching her back out.

"Yeah sure, could do with somethin' to fill the ol' gut before I head out tonight. Even if I am goin' to be eatin' later. I'm a growin' girl and I need me something for energy for tonight." She gave Alicia one of those looks, you know the looks, where the eyebrows wiggle into overdrive and a self-satisfied shit eating grin spreads across their face? Yeah, that was Lorna's face.

Grabbing her shit from the office, Lorna wrapped her arm around Alicia's shoulders and guided her out of the room. "C'mon Leash, let's go get some." Lorna chortled as they made their way out towards Alicia's car and climbed in. On the way out Lorna rolled the window down and stared at their new security guard. "We've got eyes everywhere, don't think you can slack off just 'cause we're headin' out. BACK TO WORK." As they were let through, Lorna rolled the window up and grinned at Alicia. "That make up for me bein' quiet earlier?"

Snorting with laughter, Lorna pulled her cell out and considered texting Lawson but then decided against it. He'd be at her place in a couple hours anyway, all she had to do was shower, change and try not to look like a man. Was all gonna be fine. They'd have a chat, drink some beers, watch the derby and then head home and rodeo until sunrise then get on with their lives. Simple as it always was for Lorna. Maybe once she got him out her system Alicia would stop teasin-- Who was she fucking kidding? Alicia was never going to stop teasing her.
