Sonya is ready~

Hi, is this still accepting? I'd love to make a character that used to be a group leader but lost her people in an zombie ambush/etc., currently being a solo survivor.

I feel like half the population of the beach house has a crush on Sunshine xD Molly, too.

"Maybe you'll meet a guy to give you the D tonight," quipped Kim, nudging Molly and... was that a wink? Molly, blushing furiously, could only laugh in response. How come her heart beat so fast all of a sudden?
"Y-yeah... dunno," Molly said smiling, kind of relieved yet not. She definitely didn't want 'the D', but having Kimberly wink at Molly just made her heart race.
And then, to Molly's endless satisfaction, Kim decided to play along with her and entertained the idea of the arson being able to happen whenever during the evening.
Addison, ever the light-hearted rival, took Molly's joke too seriously. Claiming he had just the thing for that, he ran upstairs, leaving the girls be for the time being. During this time Jem appeared, seating herself tightly next to everyone, next to Molly, in fact. Asking what was going on, the ball of precious sunshine was blissfully unaware of the dick-eating conversation around her. Molly was glad, really.
That is, until he decided to grace everyone with his appearance.

Sam made Molly's brow furrow in frustration, deep-integrated hurt, and the burning embers of her anger. The guy just waltzed up, all happy and flirty, just like he always was. Seemingly unbothered too, what a wanker. Their eyes met for a brief second, in which both just met each other with a face of stone. This hurt Molly more than she would outwardly show, but the girl was almost sure Jem could feel the slight tremor going through Molly's hand as she simply averted her eyes and pursed her lips together.
Behind all that anger and sadness, there was regret. Regret and longing, perhaps even love. All a bundle of emotions repressed and swept under the rug of hurt feelings. She had said some terrible things, too. Not just him. Never just him.

Letting her hair fall over her face, Molly nudged at Jem and looked at her knowingly. Molly trusted that the girl didn't need words to understand what she meant, she had seen how Sam had simply ignored the blonde, after all. Jem was a friend to them both, and Molly hated that the sweet girl had the unfortunate position to be the meat between the hostile sandwich that was Sam and Molly's former friendship.
Looking for silent support in her friend, Molly grasped Jemima's hand in hers, leaning on the girl with a heavy heart. She had already opened her heart to her about Sam and oh, did she feel guilty for doing so. Jem had no business cleaning their messes. The curly-headed girl was way too pure for that.

Addy's return helped Molly climb out of the misery pit she almost fell in. Excited, and with something in his hand, the boy exclaimed: "Behold!" and proceeded to pull out a huge amount of fireworks of all things out of the black bag. Blimey... that was unexpected, yet Molly expected nothing less from Blake's lively brother. Molly chuckled aloud, smiling a teeth-white smile at the boy, who so excitedly was listing all the different kinds of fireworks he had.
"You guys go wild with those but be careful. I'm going in the kitchen to see what those guys are up to," Kim stated. The girl was gone before Molly could figure out a good way to respond. It didn't matter anyway, did it? Molly could always talk to her later.
Molly reached over for the table beside the couch, taking an opened can of beer resting there. She smelled it, determining if it was recent or not, drinkable or better left alone. Generally, taking anyone's drink was a bad idea, but Molly was feeling like taking a sip since her throat was dry for various reasons. Before she could do anything, however, Addison bumped into her, making Molly splash her drink all over her clothing.
"Shite!" Molly cursed under her breath in frustration. Looking over at Addison, who hadn't noticed the spilled beer yet, asked if Molly wanted to go light one up. Gathering herself, Molly smiled tightly before settling into a more natural smile.
"Sure, just... gimme a moment. I splashed this rotten beer all over my clothes. I'd better change," she said apologetically. Squeezing Jem's hand, wishing to be able to talk to her in private at some point, Molly stood up. The beer soaked fabric felt disgusting against her body, making her wince. Time to put the dirty clothes in the washer, she didn't want them stinking of alcohol, no way.
Excusing herself, Molly hurried back upstairs.
Pfft, who cares? I'll just call the Martians to come see this work of art lmao ;)

"Yes. Can't you tell?" Kim responded with a nod at her clothing. Molly blushed, feeling a bit dumb for asking. Grinning through her embarrassment, which wasn't outwardly spottable, Molly nodded and popped another chocolate covered snack in her mouth. Should she compliment the dress? It was rather beautiful, wasn't it.
"Yeah, your dress looks reall--"
Before the blonde could finish, Violet appeared from behind her back, sitting herself right next to Kim. Molly smiled and greeted her newest friend, who herself greeted the both of them back, asking if they had any plans for the party.
"Since I was rudely interrupted, I really do not. I just want to go and have fun and probably get drunk off my ass," Kimberly exlaimed, making Molly chuckle. Sensing it was her turn to answer, Molly merely shook her head and responded:
"What she said." Having loads of fun and probably getting a bit tipsy at least was what Molly was planning. She didn't really trust the drunk her; she might even end up spilling the beans while in that state. The thought scared her to no end.

Next was Richie's turn to show up. Molly offered him a cheeky smile, not needing to communicate anything else with the dude. He knew what the smile meant, and teasing the boy about the past was one of the wholesome amusements Molly was allowed to have. Looking at Kim, Molly noticed there was some lingering awkwardness between the two. This made the girl curious, but as she was not a gossiper, perhaps she didn't even want to know what it was caused by.
After Richie had passed by, Molly mustered up all the courage she didn't really have, deciding to get on with the compliment.
"Your dress does look super cute, girl," was what Molly ended up saying. She said it with such a sunny tone too, it didn't come out as flirty at all.
'Well fuck me,' thought Molly, finding irony in that statement (a girl could dream, after all), 'that really just sounded like I was paying her a friendly compliment.' Not like it was bad, it was just not what she was going for. Guys were so much easier to flirt with, Molly decided. Just a shame she felt no attraction whatsoever towards the male species.

Molly's attention was grabbed by Richie and Bradley, who were flirting in a corner. For a while Molly wished that she, too, would sound as smooth and effortless as the two, but then she heard Kim muttering something.
"Seems like someone wants the d tonight."
Molly couldn't help it, she was so caught off-guard by the statement that she audibly snorted. Covering her mouth in mild embarrassment, she continued laughing and shook her head.
"At least someone does," Molly muttered in the moment with amusement, then pausing cold when she realised what she had said. What in the bloody hell compelled her to say that? Stupid Molly, don't be too obvious. Or was it okay..?
Glancing at Kim and Violet, slowly lowering her hand from her mouth, Molly just smiled sheepishly. With any luck, neither of them heard. It was unlikely, but... why was Molly even worried about this in the first place? Wasn't she just thinking about the absurdity of staying in the closet when she knew probably everyone would be fine with it? It wasn't like she had outed herself, she just said something mildly suggestive. She was overthinking this, no doubt about it.
Before Molly had the chance of causing herself a brain aneurysm from the worrying, Addie plopped himself on the floor in the middle of all of them, asking how they were doing. Thankful for the distraction, Molly grinned and answered:
"Nothing much, just plotting arson. As you do," she exclaimed playfully. "Wanna join?"
@Silence Sounds Molly and Violet joined Kim on the couch, Molly came there from the kitchen to avoid Missy, lol :'D So the conversation took place in the sofa area
Thanks! I try to avoid making such mistakes in the future, but if (or when) I do, feel free to point them out. Now it's all fixed! *thumbs up*
