Bio

Former military infantryman. That pretty much means I find myself more drawn toward RPs that have anything to do with modern-ish warefare. ANy thing else just ask, I'm open like the YMCA.

Wolfe chuckled a bit at Vaughtars question.
"He's a bit of an idiot, not that great at being interpersonal. But...." Wolfe said looking toward Hirsch, who was now sitting down, arms folded with a scowl on his face.
"His hearts in the right place, he just gets excited."
The room began to become crowded. Wolfe gave a polite nod to the Gargoyle and sat back down next to Hirsch.
"So...when's This thing over with? I'm getting friggin hungry," Hirsch said "I need real food, not these snacks, meat, potatoes and-"
"Check that, should be done soon, then we can get some chow, I know I am getting ansty as well, just tough it out for now."
The room was crowded, different types of people and creatures from different universes, and times. Wolfe was surpised as to how well they seemed to take to all this...culture shock if that could even be the right term.
Wolfe heard a loud, deep rumbling, looked around to see Hirsch grip his stomach, he was hungry.
Incoming post tonight. Would've done it this weekend, but it was the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, so I had to prepare for that on Saturday, then race on Sunday, then nursing hangovers yesterday.
Ugh, just got me post up, apologize a for the delay. Turns out promotions come with more responsibilities than I thought. It's only Tuesday and including this last weekend I am already at 40 hours, only 45 hours left to go this week!
Wolfe could tell by Mallaidhs reaction she was upset at the thought of her sword being cursed. Wolfe could relate, his grandfather had a large collection of antique firearms-still functional. Given the same circumstances... Wolfe wouldn't want to believe one his grandads prized possessions were used for...this.
"I apologize, I did not mean to upset you ma'am," Wolfe said.
"I am fairly sure that is your sword.... Just not... Your families sword as you remember it."
Confused looks came his way. Wolfe thought for a moment then spoke again.
"Imagine, a large bubble," Wolfe said, he got up to a white board and drew a circle, he made random dots inside the circle.
"Ok, imagine this is a bubble, on a three dimiensional scale, so there would be dots next to, behind, above, and so on and so on with every other subsequent dot, this large bubble, is called the Multiverse" Wolfe looked around making sure he was still be followed.
"Now, each dot, represents individual universes, mine, yours, everyone's. They are independent of each other, never connecting, but still follow at a parallel rate. Contrary to popular belief, time is not linear," he drew a line and imedietely crossed it out, "instead...its spherical. Like when your on a plane going to the other side of the planet, um," Wolfe looked at her clothing and remembered she probably doesn't know what a plane was.
"Um, a large ship going accross the sea, you look out to the horizon you see a natural curve." Hirsch actually appeared to be paying attention, which surprised Wolfe. He always knew Hirsch was a good warrior, hell, one of the best, but Wolfe always felt that Hirsch was...simple, to put it politely.
"At some point," Wolfe drew lines from one dot to another "there was an...event? Somehow, someway individuals from these independent universes, and times were transported, across time and space...to...here," All the lines intersected on one dot, his dot, only four years later.
"Now to answer your statement ma'am," Wolfe went on.
"Just because you knew your families sword in your time," Wolfe pointed to one dot, then moved the marker around the bubble then a sharp downward angle to the intersecting dot.
"Doesn't mean, that in between your last memory of your home, and waking up here, years if not centuries may have gone by in your universes, and that sword made its way here...to my world... Four years ago, and to me, it feels like yesterday, because subjectively it was yesterday."
Wolfe finished, looked to Hirsch and asked "You got anything to add Joe?"
Hirsch looked to Mallaidh and spoke directly to her.
With a giggle and a sheepish grin, "you got pretty eyes."
Whack!
Hirsch recoiled from the blow that Wolfe delivered to the back of his head.
"Fraggin moron!"
Before Hirsch could speak his eyes widened.
Something just walked in the room.
"Holeeeshit! It's ma'fucking Goliath! Bruh I loved your show as a kid!"
WHACK! This time it was harder.
"Owww man! Whiskey tango foxtrot asshole!?"
"Stow that shit you simple dumpster baby."
Hirsch scoffed and sat back down.
Wolfe walked up to the large creature, his eyes conveyed two things to Wolfe, intelligence, and kindness.
He held out a hand to the creature, "I apologize for my SAW gunner, he's a idiot with no filter, but probably the best human being to have on your side in a fight. My name's Wolfe, Corporal Wolfe, but you can call Wolfe, and that's Hirsch, as I call him numbnuts."
Thank you!
I am sure it'll be fine. Once we got all the posts filled all this overtime should calm down, it's just a matter of hiring new people.
So, I just got a promotion at work, so that means a lot of overtime, I will try and get a post in this weekend.
OK, so Wolfe is pretty much sensing the bad juju going down right now. Danya is on the warpath to get out of the bubble, so I am assuming its at least going to try, hence the inherent danger.
And that octo-head thing crawling around ol' Herbert's room, seems rather screwed up, hence the gut feeling.
The strange dog made motions with its paws, 'Is it wearing a helmet and riding a ... bike?' Then the dog shook its head and walked out of the room. Wolfe stared in confusion, Hirsch was staring at the red head the whole time. Wolfe had to elbow him to get him to stop.
Thats when the red headed woman spoke. She said that the sword was her families sword, and about how shes the heir to that sword. Wolfe assumed she must be from some either time, or place, where they are still in a medieval period.
Rozalind asked if any of the objects stood out to the rest of them, Wolfe raiesd his hand.

"Uh, yea, that sword," Wolfe cleared his throat, "I am fairly sure I saw that very sword slice the stomach open on a crucified woman, and, uh, something, started to come out."

Wolfe shivered a bit when he thought about that night, that monster, or demon pushing its way out of the the wound. Wolfe ended that nightmare with a grenade.
He looked to Mallaidh, "Ma'am, if that is your families sword, something about it, aint right. I mean, I held that weapon in my hand, I...I cannnot explain it, but, it felt wrong..." Wolfe trailed off, not really knowing what to say, never having ever experienced anything like that before.
The door opened and a beautiful woman walked in clad in leather jacket, she sat down in the same seat occupied previously by the husky. Wolfe noticed her eyes, icy blue, the same as the dogs.
"Nice trick," he said to her.

All of a sudden he got a gut feeling, the hair on the back of his neck began to stand on end, his sences started to become acute, his heart rate began to elevate slightly, as if his body is prepping itself for physical activity. This is the same feeling he gets every time something bad happens. Every time he was in a fire fight, or an ambush, or had he been in any danger at all, moments prior he gets this feeling. Wolfe calls it, feeling like a live wire. Some said he has a sixth sense, Wolfe thinks he's just perceptive.
Hirsch almost sensing his team leaders anxiety stopped making eyes at the red head, and began to scan the room and watch the entryway, keeping on the alert.

"I got a bad feeling," Wolfe uttered.
I graduated high school in '05.

Been working a lot of overtime lately, lost a few people so we don't have full coverage. Oh how miss Saturdays off.
Lol. I like military stuff.
Fallout, or anything apocalyptic really. LOTR and GoT are nifty.

Although I usually only post as a solid casual, I tend to get overwhelmed(?) With too much "wordage"

But I seem to be at a loss for any sort of plot though.
