89% of magic tricks are not magic. Technically, they are sorcery.

Hell yeah.
Name: Kevin Clive

Age: Unknown/Unrecorded

Appearance: Kevin is the spitting image of his father, Gildarts, while being slightly shorter, and his hair tending to be more wild and unkempt. Physically, he looks to be about 26. He also wears a black trench coat with a torn and shredded tail, and boots, along with a black shirt and black gloves. He can often be found hiding his face behind a white mask, with a sadistic grin plastered onto it, and a scar over the left eye.

Powers:
Crash Magic
Kevin possesses amazing strength, allowing him to effortlessly beat down impressive magic users such as Dragon Slayers, without any form of extra magic to help him. He also learned his father's magic: Crash. Utilizing this, he can increase his already ridiculous strength tremendously, blowing apart anything in his path, even ripping through other forms of magic. The only thing greater than his strength is his durability. He can take blow after blow from some who might be considered seriously powerful with a single arm, and not move an inch. Even such powerful moves as the Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade, one of the strongest moves a Fire Dragon Slayer can learn, barely leaves a scratch on him.

Weaknesses: While he is extremely strong and impressively durable, a good chunk of this is due to the fact that his magic power acts as a layer of protection, and his Crash Magic in general works as a great offensive and defensive complement. Anti-magic weapons and armament work fairly well against Crash Magic, the same as any other magic, and neutralizing it would greatly weaken him. He's also very limited when it comes to ranged combat. While he can fire condensed blasts of pure destructive magic, these Crash Blasts only move so fast and requires him to aim his strikes to be where his opponent will be instead of where they are, making his accuracy 50/50 at the very best. His magic power is also not limitless. If he uses too much of it all at once, he could run out, leaving himself exposed. While it does slowly return to him naturally, if he loses it all during a fight he would be severely weakened.

Bio: Born the son of Gildarts, Kevin grew up hating his father for abandoning his mother, having stayed with her for only a short time during one of his journeys. Kevin never really liked family life. He didn't like just moving through life, doing anything to just survive, and he hated being weak, as he was constantly bullied. Kevin ran away from home and found Gildarts while walking to and from cites, knowing him by the face, the same as his own, and the way he acted, exactly as his mother described. Angered merely by the sight of him, the boy ran to Gildarts and began striking him and yelling at him. Gildarts just stood there after his first bout of surprise, and when the boy calm down he apologized, sincerely. Kevin, taken by surprise, said, "one day, I'll be stronger than you, and I'm going to beat the shit out of you!" Gildarts had responded by laughing at him and putting a hand on his head. "Why don't I help you with that?" from then on he traveled with Gildarts, learning how to fight and learning the magic Crash, before finding the Fairy Tail guild, and his best friend, Creed. They went on countless adventures, across their world, and eventually to other worlds. Other universes. His last known location was when he met death at the hands of one of the Omegans, on a planet made of ice.

Nope, not even a little.

Shotacon.

Name:
Jeremy Haynes
Age:
29
Power:
Mental Manipulation - Absorbing the shard he found gave him the ability to bend mortals to his will. Using the power of the shard, their minds are his plaything, from mere control to the sadistic inflictment of hallucinations and pure pain. Against targets with more mental fortitude, (e.x. other shard holders) he may have trouble, but upon contact with them he can manually overpower their resistances if he so wished, creating a direct link from his mind to theirs. The downside to a direct link is that upon removal of him from the person he is connected to, the link only lasts so long, making his manipulations temporary if he must use it.
Bio:
Jeremy Haynes was known only as the recent successor to a business that was already failing. Once successful and influential, after he inherited the business it began to die. With all the world at his fingertips, so to speak, most could only shake their heads as he let the company spiral into failure. Despite being a good guy, with good intentions at heart, that was all he was. He didn't really have a passion for anything, least of all business. He sucked at it, and now he walked away having killed the only thing his father had left him. To him, this was a sign. He decided to accept that he was a failure, in the eyes of his late father, and in life in general... until one day he happened upon a clear piece of glass. Taking hold of it, his grip was superficially tightened as the glass tapped into his conscious mind, fortifying his mental defenses and searing into his conscious the key to the manipulation of his fellow man. The shard then faded away to dust, as if it had never been there at all.
Jeremy could only wonder at what he could do with such power. He didn't know what to do. His good morals haven't gotten him anywhere. He knew that much. Maybe these powers were the key to what he needed. Jeremy thought long and hard, and then he made a promise to himself. He would never again let his own view of the world keep him from his ultimate goals. He would have to accept some questionable methods if he would get anywhere in life. As the shard's power circulated through his mind, he felt optimistic about the future.
Jeremy woke up in a cold sweat, his hand immediately going to his heart, which felt as if it was beating out of his chest. Once again, he had passed out on the couch. He had no idea what time it was... It had been another nightmare. They were becoming more frequent. His abilities could warp the minds of others, but his own dreams were at the mercy of destiny. He sat up, still fully dressed in suit and tie. He took some steps towards the bathroom and examined himself. He seemed presentable. He wiped the sweat from his brow and made an effort to groom himself. Good enough, he thought.

Jeremy exited the house and looked around him. He felt a dull pain in the back of his head. This was odd, as despite his dreams his mind has been more invigorated than ever. Until now, his headaches and migraines had vanished. "Could it be a sign?" He pondered his own question. As he started walking, he noticed the pain becoming sharp, more clear. Whatever was causing it, he would find out soon enough.
@KatherinWinter Great! I'll try and get a post up as soon as I can.
@KatherinWinter Characters with no mental fortitude (the average human) can be controlled indefinitely until they reach a minimum distance of 200 yards. (for reference, an American football field is 120 yards in length) The average shard holder would presumably be enhanced mentally from contact with their shards, meaning a much shorter range to control (60 yards or less) or the inability to control unless contact is made. Either way, there would be much less time to toy with these people, only about 10 seconds to a minute based upon their characters willpower. The only exception would be prolonged contact, and even then breaking this contact would start the clock ticking.

I'll try to avoid controlling other people's characters if Jeremy can help it, as he'd likely be hesitant to try anything with people who could wreck his shit if he made the wrong move. If he does end up trying to control someone, I'd probably contact them through PM to establish his connection strength and what he'd be able to do with them.
