Bio

Hey, there. I'm Crumbs and you are you. I like that about us.

I went to a birthday party I didn't know was going to happen, ended up thrown into a situation for which I was wholly unprepared (though that's not entirely unwelcome), drank probably more than my fill of liquor and...woke up at home. Most of the night was hazy, but I get the impression that everyone had a lot of fun.

Right now, I'm regretting it.

I'll look over In-Character and OOC posts, again, after I've properly aligned myself with the world and feel as though I can tolerate the soft (increasingly nauseating) glow of my screen.

Responses will be done, today. Mark my words.
I suppose I should've said this way earlier on, today...but I got sidetracked! (Yay~)

I probably won't be posting, today (though it'll be easy once I get around to it), because I...uh...I...well; admittedly...I...

I started a new game on Persona 3 (and just for fun I've been messing around with P4AU), so I'm stuck...for a little while. Will have my response up, when I return.

Later~
@VecForty copper to a silver, twelve silver to a gold. I was thinking that gold discs (pieces, coins, whatever) would be the big thing; at least for adventurers and stuff. I can imagine a pretty ratty inn-room for six silver. >.>
Despite herself, Isyph laughed, taking a few more steps toward the entrance of the Guild Center. Dodger had the right of it, from where she stood, but that momentary oversight. "I suppose that's so," she admitted, grinning warmly back at the man she felt was fast becoming a new friend, "I had never even thought to try to make a Guild of my own. It seems like a huge undertaking..." Though there were myriad doubts the Uquii girl held, she chose to run through that initial hurdle; instead of trying to make a succession of leaps, she would drive through the heart of whatever monstrous minutae presented its self. "I hope your feeling is right."

Turning, she moved up the steps without ceremony; surprised at the lack of people in front of the Guild Center. Perhaps Vaald was not so busy as Isyph had assumed. They were easy steps, evenly spaced and otherwise unremarkable...save for errant cracks that caught the eye. More impressive, however, was the door they lead to. It did not stand so high as to inspire awe, nor was it decorated with lavish designs of monsters or heroes. It was, however, or at least appeared to be, made of gold. Isyph almost caught herself salivating at the thought of organizing its removal; disregarding a nagging suspicion that the gold was merely a plating, or altogether fake. Instead, she pushed the door aside and let her gait gain an air of pride as she entered.

"Hundreds," she said on the other side of that particular threshold, "of people that will be looking at us to help them. That's not going to be easy, even if they end up helping us, or me, or you, or even each other in the end. So long as...so long as it works." Isyph wondered if she were being presumptuous, but that didn't show or give her any pause. What did show, in the stead of wandering thoughts, was disappointment; an eyebrow raised and her lips set about becoming an almost-pout. The Guild Center was mostly empty, a few people lingering about on benches littered around their atrium. Ahead of her were various counters, situated in carved niches, some shuttered and others with semblances of lines in front of them. Signs hung above each, indicating their purpose.

She took it in for a moment, trying to let her misplaced disappointment morph into optimism. Of course, it was a simple task once Isyph realized that she was being irrational. Slowly, she touched her cheek; wondering if the warmth there was some new frustration...or hope. Vaald, it seemed, was a place that was wont to contend with her opinion of it at every turn. Or she was nervous. Regardless, the line for registration was non-existent and the shutters were still open; revealing a blue-haired woman thumbing idly through a stack of papers.

"We're in luck, Dodger. All we need is a name and the fee," Isyph didn't think she could afford a Guildhome, but cared little...despite her earlier lamentations about that night's lodgings, "though, I'm a bit...light of coin..." Even with the ill-gotten gains of her earlier adventures, the amount of gold in her satchel was relatively sparse; lingering somewhere close to seventy.

"The fee for registration of a new Guild is currently one-hundred and ninety-nine gold discs," came a few disinterested words from the blue-haired woman, who glanced at the Thieves for a moment, "That's one third the usual cost, in case your curiosity is piqued. The Enlistment Drive is a low-point in the year for new Guild registration. As such, the Vaunted Council has deemed that this 'one-hundred and ninety-nine' disc price is sufficient for irregulars." She continued thumbing through her papers before holding them up to her nose, despite the glasses that rested there, covering her face for a moment. "Before you get excited, however, I'm on break for the next five minutes."

What are these bc SMT vibes you speak of?

For DD//EG? It was inspired (somewhat heavily) by the Shin Megami Tensei series of games. (specifically Persona, Digital Devil Saga and Devil Survivor)
@KomamisaHahaha, I know how that goes. I think I achieved what I'd call 'skill' sometime around mid '07, after a lot of hard work spurred by the jealousy of people that were writing in a specific section of the first RP site I frequented. After that, I moved to that part of the site and enjoyed some success. (which admittedly boosted my ego and drive to the point where I worked more and more on writing as something of a love; rather than a hobby)
@KomamisaIt would've been rather intense. Honestly, I was in my fledgling phases of writing in '06; so I probably wouldn't have been very good if you had encountered me. ^^

Edit:@rush99999 Surprisingly it came down to an argument with the staff about 'aiding an exile in their return' (my words)...after all of the other things I had done. There were no chat filters on the site before I showed up. I didn't argue with people, a lot, or anything...but I had a bad reputation.

I quit, a while before the ban set in. After winning a contest to see who would be the playing the leader of the Dawnguard. That was me kind of spitting in everyone's faces, given how they'd come to treat me around there. I suppose I earned some of it...but there was certainly a growing stigma against me and my threads, at the time.
@KomamisaNope, I was on Call of Time in...2012; I believe. ^^

Edit: I've been banned, for a while, now that I think of it.
@thecircusWhoa, I totally missed this. My bad, Circ. What's up? ^^
@VecAlright, sounds good! ^^ The timeline is (kind of) askew, at the moment anyway; given that Crosos' actions could be construed as running simultaneously or slightly before those of Isyph. (just using my own characters as an example, here) I'm making sure there's a bit of ambiguity in things, so far as my posts are concerned, to allow for that kind of "open-endedness" that enables other people to hop in at their leisure.
