Cythlla

name: Cythlla
gender: Female
godly parents: Cthulhu(elder god of madness) and Scylla (Greek, Horror of the Deep)Scylla
sphere of control: Madness, destruction, explosions, and decay.
appearance:
personality: Cythlla is rarely in a sane state of mind. She loves to see things explode or be destroyed. But what she loves even more than that is driving people mad. She loves to persuade people to do something evil of their own will. She also has a tendency to constantly be digging, what she’s digging for is anyone’s guess though.
sacred animal: Pigeons
powers: Cythlla has the power to summon tentacles from her back and mouth to grab her foes. She also has something called the mist of madness, which she can spread to make others go mad. Cythlla can also dig into the ground rather quickly. Cythlla also has power over pigeons, and pests meaning bugs, though this is limited.

Speaking a dialect that no one can understand, not even her.
Mirror of reflection: reflects attacks on her back at the enemy.
Body of Mist: Can change her body into the same mist that makes others go mad.

Short History: Cythlla was born of the union of two creatures of the deep, Cthulhu and Scylla. Both of them being terrible creatures she is just as terrible. After the first decade her existence she ended up murdering one of the pantheons, that of Fenrir. She has since been known as a fugitive who has from time to time made her presence known only to end up killing another god, though often they are minor gods. (She killed the god of spoilage)
other: When Cythlla isn’t talking to anyone she is often found digging, looking for something, some say that she is looking for her sanity.(false rumor)

Cia

name: Cia
gender: Female
godly parents: Gaia(Titan of earth), Janus (Roman god of transition)
sphere of control: Goddess of Miracles, Healing, Portals, and earth.
personality: Cia is one of the kindest of the merged. She will do whatever she can to help others and even some mortals. Cia has also been known to shy away from violence as she hates fighting.
sacred animal: Dove
powers: Earth fury: Cia can control the power of the ground to protect herself, and if needed attack others.
Healing light: Cia can summon down the light of the sky to heal those who are wounded. It can also be used to treat illnesses but not cure them.
Portals to anywhere: This is used to create portals to quickly travel from one place to another; the only issue with the portal is that one will lose their footing upon exiting the portal often resulting in a fall.
Devine Miracle: This is a power that she tries to not use as it is very powerful. It summons a huge beam of light from the sky devastating anything in its path even gods.
weapon(s): Cia wields a shield when in need of protecting herself, but rarely used as a weapon.
History: Cia is seen as the kindest of all the Merged gods. She even has a church on earth now due to her deeds not going unnoticed. During the war between the merged and the old gods Cia took the side of the Old Gods, while also trying to stop the war. She failed in this though and was forced to switch sides in order continue her work in helping others.
other: Cia has been known to take the form of a Dove when going to earth.

Sheogorath

name: Sheogorath

gender: Male

sphere of control: Deadric Prince of Madness, and cheese.

personality: Sheogorath is what you would call truly mad. Almost all of his words are set within madness. His very being has driven people mad with questions. Why is his sacred animal Cheese? How is it cheese? Why is my head made of cheese? Why am I suddenly a sweet roll? For the most part he doesn’t make sense, but there is boundless knowledge hidden within that madness. Knowledge not just of a single planet but of an entire universe.

sacred animal: Cheese

powers: Madness of man: Can drive a person mad. Though it also makes them highly knowledgeable of all but unable to find the words to express it correctly.

What?!?: No one actually understand’s this spell. It constantly changes, and gets weirder and weirder the more he casts it.

How?: A teleportation spell, works differently every time. Sometimes it’s a simple teleport, then it’s a portal, then you have to go through a giant worms gut.

Planet of origin: Tamriel

weapon(s): The Wabbajack: A staff that is used to cast various spells, what happens is different almost every time and highly unpredictable.

History: Sheogorath has a bit of strange history among mortals. As of late he has come to earth to help a new set of mortals. Although his help doesn’t make all that much sense. He has come to help the new merged gods with a new threat soon to come. He can predict the threat fine, but letting others know is the problem.

other: He has been known to break the forth wall.

Flemmings Brother of Cia

name: Flemmings

gender: Male

godly parents: Nemesis(Greek Goddess of Vengeance), Janus (God of Portals)

sphere of control: Justice, Punishment, Rewards

personality: Flemmings is the kind of person who is too stubborn for his own good. Oddly enough though, he never worries for his sister Cia like he should. Some would even say that he may be afraid of his own sister. This is most likely due to Cia’s constant teasing as she is the older child. Though it may also be due to him being the only person to ever witness Cia when she becomes angry or fed up with something.

Other than how he feels towards his sister he will stand steadfast in the face of adversity, he has been called the perfect judge as he when he is asked to judge something he holds not prejudices against it, even against his own mother who he sent to her death.

sacred animal: Turtle

powers:

Absolute Rule: If someone is to break a rule and Flemmings see’s it as more than just a simple rule broken, he can chain that person or god down to one spot and make them unable to move. This does not stop them from casting spells however.

Ban of Magic: Flemmings can prevent someone from using magic, however this does not work while Absolute Rule is in place and Vice Versa.

Portals: Like his sister Flemmings can create portals to anywhere, though his are not quite as powerful as Cia’s and can’t be opened indefinitely like hers.

Revenge: If Flemmings is cut down, or he sees someone else cut down that is dear to him, he may enact Revenge, which allows him to immensely grow in power.

Portal Punch: While Cia can open larger portals and for longer than him. Flemmings has learned to create smaller portals for him to punch through. This can be used in multiple ways.

weapon(s): His fists, sometimes he uses brass knuckles.

History: Flemmings was born of Janus and Nemesis. How this union came about is anyones guess. He has lived with Cia since he could remember. The two were almost inseperable until one day Flemmings accidently broke Cia’s favorite toy. To this day, no one knows what Cia did that scared him, only that he will never talk about it. Most believe that Cia had given him the wedgie of a life time, but he has never admitted to this. Ever since he has tried to keep his distance from Cia. He now works a sort of Judge among the Merged, judging what to do in certain situations.

Zeltrax

name: Zeltrax

gender: Male

sphere of control: Corruption, Failure, and Betrayal

Planet of Origin: Kel Repartha

personality: Zeltrax is a very manipulating person, his end goal is to create a civil war between the gods. Zeltrax will manipulate anyone he believes useful. He is also believed to have poison words. He also has a strange hatred of the Bunnies of earth.

sacred animal: Velociraptor

powers:
Seed of Corruption: This is a something that he can plant in one’s mind, all he has to do is to utter a few poison words, or even touch their head and the seed of corruption is planted. The seed of Corruption it’s self will make the victim start to mistrust those around them. Eventually the victim will betray those closest to them.

Godly norms: He can fly, thought it's more of a float. He can also twist the space around him as a sort of teleport. It can only be used in long distance though and can't be used for short teleports.

Fire Magic: You know what this is, but this also includes summoning meteors.

Twisted Shield: It is a shield that reflects attacks aimed at him back onto the user. However this only works for projectiles, when it is a physical attack it is possible to break the shield.

Failure of all: Nullifies anything created by magic in the area, but only for a few minutes. Does not work on technology.

weapon(s): He uses a very large Scimitar that he calls the "Sword of Mistrust" If hit by this weapon his enemy will start to mistrust those around them, this also plants a Seed of Corruption in them.

History: Zeltrax came into being as the opposite of Amgarrack. He became known as a sort of war god, but also one to be feared as he was known to constantly battle against Amgarrack. He eventually left the planet after tiring of the constant fight. He started to corrupt other planet's instead bringing about the end of times for other such worlds without gods. He has set his sights on earth as his next target to corrupt.

Sven God of Science

name: Sven Stein

gender: Male

sphere of control: Science and Technology

personality: Sven is stubborn, he believes that humanity should be fully self-sufficient. He also believes that humanity is far superior knowledge wise of any race, even the gods. He does not believe in stealing however, he believes in a fair fight.

sacred animal: Chimpanzees

powers:

Full control over technology: Can use any technology as his own weapon. He can even use this power to create robot soldiers within the blink of an eye.

Biological magic: Sven has the ability to control certain things that are not connected to magic. For example he can control a piece of bacteria and change it into something else, often a virus.

Chemical Magic: By manipulating molecules in various he can create different effects. One of these effects is him splitting an atom creating a nuclear explosion. However he will only ever use this as a last resort as he does not believe in harming the earth.

Planet of origin: Earth

weapon(s): Sven is best known of using rotating cannons attached to his armor in order to attack his enemies.
History: Sven was born within South Africa. He was born a prodigy however and has started attending college when he was just 10. By the age of 20 he had several masters degrees and his own lab. It was also around this age that he started his work on trying to find a better way to domesticate and control animals. However this eventually failed as one of his lab partners stole a prototype and ended up accidentally spreading the Parasites instead almost ending the world if it weren’t for Sven finding the cure.

A month after finding the cure Sven went into hiding, however at this point many people started to follow him on social media. He was regarded as a celebrity, at one point though he went far beyond that in admiration. People started to worship him as a god of science. Due to these conditions however a spell started to take place. When he had angered Sheogorath to the point where Sheo tried to turn him into a rabbit the spell back fired. It did the complete opposite and turned Sven into the newest god of humanity.

GateKeeper of the Underworld

The Gatekeeper simply named is in charge to protecting the Underworld. He is the son of Hades and Nox(Roman Goddess of the Night).

There used to be many different pantheons. The Greeks. The Romans. The Egyptians. The Norse. The Aztec. The Hindu. The Japanese. And many more. Now, they are gone. Now, there is only one pantheon. The Merged.

For many years, the pantheons were ignorant of each other; only their kings knew that the others existed. It was meant to stay that way until the Ending of Days. However, Zeus decided that the pantheons united could better stand against their foes, and brought the other kings around to his point of view. One by one, the kings decided to meet. Horus was the first to agree. Odin was the last. It was decided that they would meet at Mt. Olympus.

And so they came. After the surprise wore off, bonds quickly formed between the pantheons. Hermes and Loki became great friends. Athena and Thoth discussed their studies. Poseidon and Ryujin formed a friendly rivalry. But it was not only bonds of friendship that were created that day.

Attraction blossomed between many. There were many more pairings, both likely and unlikely. These romances produced children, raised in secret. And, as Greek legend dictated, those children rose against their parents and overthrew them. Unlike the legends, however, the Merged gods and goddesses were merciful. If they swore upon the River Styx never to rise against their children, the Merged would let their parents live.

And so, the pantheons of the world fell to the Merged. Some gods refused to bow to their children, and they were destroyed. Others took their vows and lived with their children in peace. All who bent the knee to the Merged were spared, be they god or titan, monster or Jotunn.

The old world was gone. A new world, governed by new gods, had come. Now it was time... to live out their fate.

Timeline

1700s- All of the gods from all of the pantheons meet.
1800s- first of the Merged is born.
1900s- bickering about what to do with the Merged gods starts
2000s- War begins between the Merged and the Old Gods.
2014- The war is won by the Merged.
2016- Zombie outbreak.

Rules

Old gods may have multiple children, even with multiple partners. (They can be reused)

No godmodding(accidental pun), auto hits or whatever without permission.

If there is a fight between gods (1 vs 1) please play fair, I don't want a dodge fest.

All CS must be posted in the ooc to be accepted by me or a co-gm.

If you have an idea for a subplot or even the plot as whole let me know! I'll do my best to accommodate it.

Rules of the Gods

Magic does not work against something as small as bacteria.

No killing other Gods. (will be met with severe punishment after a trial)

Gods are allowed to enter earth without permission.

A council will be used to rule over the Merged.

DemiGods are allowed.

Relationships with Humans are allowed.

Story Till Now

There was a zombie outbreak created through science. The problem was made by humanity with no magic involved. The Merged tried to solve the problem by helping the scientist who made it to find a vaccine. The Scientist however found his own vaccine after refusing the help of the gods. He used this opportunity to prove that the Gods are no longer needed, and that humanity will make it's own way.

Now there has been a prediction by the God of Nightmares of the coming rise of the old gods. They are to be freed from the underworld by a mysterious entity.

Aliens have also come to earth.

Cia hadn't noticed the creature come up behind her. She let out a scream "HELP!" as she was grabbed by the creature. After she was grabbed she tried to maneuver around and scratch at the things face with her sugar claws. She wasn't as quick as she was in her weapon form though. The worst part was she couldn't control when she would change into her weapon form.

Sven

Sven thought for a moment about Jordan's opinion of it. "That would certainly be possible. I think we are going to have to investigate later tonight at the warehouse when their active unless you would rather go right now instead." Sven said. At this point he was more relaxed, he was using his axe as a sort of can as he leaned on it. "And since you asked about my smell, I get to ask about your pets." Sven added wanting to know more about the man he would be working with.

When Jordan asked his question many of the people within the town turned to glare at him. All of them now suspicious of him. The woman looked up at him no longer with a smile but rather a suspicious glance now. "Oh we house our young ones and elderly elsewhere. They tend to get in the way during the day." The woman answered changing her suspicious glance to a smile again.

Sven

Sven put his hand up to his face in frustration when Jordan asked his question. After they got an answer to it Sven ended up pulling Jordan aside and away from view of the townspeople. "You idiot, now their suspicious of us. It's gonna be alot harder to sneak into the warehouse now that they all know we have concerns." Sven said towering over Jordan with a frustrated look on his face. "Well I guess it's too late to fix that now, just try not to do something stupid like that again alright? I can't have this investigation end before I even got a look at the warehouse." Sven added. "You got any idea what really might be going on?" Sven asked wanting to know Jordans opinion of the matter.

So in short, all of the gods exist, all of them. You are the children of two of them, they may also be the same sex as gods have a weird history or changing forms to mate (looking at you Zeus). Original gods can exist but I ask that they be from different planets.
I'm taking it upon myself to reboot this as it seemed to go pretty well last time.
