Also I assumed that some of us were on foot while others were own horses

Vert looked to the ground as the storyteller waved her off. Of course others didn't care for a monster. After all she was a danger to everyone. Vert had heard them talk about making camp soon. At this point she wouldn't be surprised if she were to be end up being tied up to a tree just to make the others feel safer. After all what else were they to do with a monster.

Then there was the healer, Zenovia. The poor girl was terrified of the Vert, and rightly so since she tried to eat the mage. However she couldn't help it. It's what she was ordered to do, and she had a hard time refusing what the warlock told her to do. In truth all that Vert ever wanted was to be truly liked. No one enjoyed her company not even before she became a devourer. Those who seemed like they enjoyed her company just ended faking it because of her position or power.

As Vert was deep in thought and her head down she ended up walking right into a tree and falling on her back. "Ow..." Vert said quickly trying to get up as to not give the others anything to worry about.

Vert looked back at the board. There it had information on it which for some reason she hadn't seen before. She would have to look more carefully in the future. "I think it's always a great idea to challenge ones self. After all who knows what we will have to deal with the future. It never hurts to expand your skills after all." Vert added, she was directing this at the shark man too.

Vert headed toward the boxes at this point looking a little closer at it now. "You know, some times it's better to just do instead of over think something." Vert stated as she walked towards the largest of the box and opening it without considering the others.

To stop a Plague

Feon's eye brow raised as he mentioned he was an inventor. Strange to be having someone of mechanics for this mission. She turned and went to go sit down across the table from him. As she sat down she heard large doors opening in the distance and then the queen herself coming between them at the middle of the table.

"I'm glad you could both make. We were to have a third of you come but it seems that something has postponed him, he may or may not be joining you later on." The queen said. As she finished her face turned to one of dire concerning. "Now as to why I have brought you here. I want you two to be a sort of task force for me. More specifically a task force that will specialize in the decommissioning of weapons of mass destruction created during the war. I believe that you two are the best for this job. Feon of the forest, you have experience with nature and magic. Pholus, you are well versed in machinery and the ways of mankind. I hope that between you both you will be able to take on this important mission. Now before I continue are there any questions you might have?" The queen finished and paused to allow questions to be asked.

Feon entered the town. She had taken a job to search for a missing child. It payed well and she was a bit of a sucker when it comes to saving helpless non shifty children. "I swear this tip better pay off." Feon said as she scratched the back of her head while walking into town. Quite a few people turned to look at her as she walked through. Sure it was unusual to see a monk walking through. Of course the fact that she had long claw blades on the back of her sash did make others take more notice.

"Is everyone here this shifty?" Feon asked while looking at the towns folk. She had no problem speaking her mind even when no one asked. She also had a bad habit of speaking to herself out loud. To her though talking out loud was a way of making sure she was still herself. She had been possessed before and had no idea until she realized she couldn't talk out loud. So now she's developed the habit.

The tip that Feon had gotten was about one of the townsfolk heading out at night to somewhere. She had no idea but it was all she had. So for now she would have to be doing a stake out from the looks of things.
