Appearance

Gilda has lost much of her former beauty her skin as rotten away and she tries everything she can to hide her face as well as any other skin she has. She wears the same armor she did when she was alive but with the added hood.

Date and cause of death

400s, run through with a spear.

Skills / Talents

Gilda has a unique ability of never showing fear in a fight, though if she gets too into a fight she will be seen smiling and laughing at the carnage of her enemies.
Gilda is also unusually strong and can take a hit and keep moving so long as the blow isn’t fatal.

Equipment

Gild carries with her an axe she uses to fight. The head of the axe is about the size of her hip and she uses two hands to swing it.

History

Gilda was born into a family of wood cutters, for the most part she had an average upbringing though she had never learned how to read and write. Gilda also had an unfortunate trait where she rarely showed any kind of emotion, unless she’s drunk or in the middle of battle. At around the age of 15 when she was bringing lunch to her father who was cutting trees she was attacked by a bear. But instead of running for her live she just stood still.

The bear confused by this motion moved backwards afraid that Gilda would do something unexpected. And like the bear though Gilda started to walk towards the bear. It roared at her but Gilda didn’t flinch. Instead to continued to walk towards the bear and raised up a hand to let it sniff her. The bear backed off and ran off afterwards.

The next day the bear returned again only to have the same interaction with Gilda. After a week of this the bear approached her more cautiously, then something magical happened. Atleast to the bear it seemed magical as Gilda reached behind it’s ear and started to scratch there. It was as if her touch was that of magic as a lingering itch was scratched. The bear thankful rubbed it’s nose against Gilda who smiled at the kindness.

Years later Gilda had become like family to the bear as it even let her meet it’s cubs. One of them Gilda named Larry, sadly Gilda had a terrible sense when it came to naming things. Thus the adventures of Gilda and Larry began. They saved the village from bandits multiple times and even fought in a war once.

Sadly that one time in the war was her last as she was run through with a spear, and Larry was chopped with an axe. She died at the age of 30. Thus ended their story.

Gilda has a bear with her at all times named Larry. He is her fighting companion and the only one she shows emotion towards.

ok I have a few more ideas, does the hero have to be human? I mean, like can they be an animal so long as they come with a human hero?

Sven looked over at Shou then back to the portal. "Yes I meant this portal, neat looking isn't? Just try not to lose your HEAD in the excitement ok?" Sven said with yet another pun added to the conversation. Once a group had been chosen to go with the main girl Sven couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Did this mean he didn't leave an impression? Or was it because he was seen as weak? I'll just have to prove myself then. Sven thought.

He turned to look at the old man from last night who had so rudely left without even giving his name. "Old man, you gonna ever give us your name? Cause if you aren't, I'm calling you Stummer Mann." The words Stummer Mann of course meant "Dumb Man" in german. Sven was getting a bit tired of this man's attitude, he spoke to everyone sure, but he never spoke to single person, like he was above them. This was getting on Sven's nerves and he would have no problem talking to him in German and just insulting him to his face. If he wasn't careful he really would lose his head over this.

Rita "the mad strategist" Schwanstein

Name

Rita Schwanstein

Appearance

Rita is a very young looking girl, she looks to be about 12 and is sometimes seen with a small stuffed sheep with the stuffing ripped out.

Date and cause of death

Around year 400, Rita died from being crushed by a large rock.

Skills / Talents

Rita is incredibly smart, to the point where she can figure out what an enemy is planning to do before they even start to plan it. As such has been able to outwit armies despite her young age when alive.
She is a master of deception and has no problem sneaking behind enemy lines and causing a large pain.
Rita also has the unusual ability as an undead to take off her parts of her body and manipulate them from anywhere.

Equipment

Rita carries with her a knife and rarely any more weaponry than that, she does however carry with her a first aid kit, though mostly just to keep herself from deteriorating any further.

History

Rita was born into a small farming village, sadly she was the daughter of an alcoholic mother and father. They both tended to get a bit violent when drunk and being an only child Rita only had to worry about looking out for herself. As such she grew up learning how to identify the signs of a violent eruption from her parents. She later found that she could use this skill of hers to manipulate others into fighting each other.
It wasn’t until she was about 12 that she was able to see the signs that those from Khazgrad would soon attack. When no one believed her when she said this she set up a plan to have the villagers ready to defend against the invaders without them even knowing. What she did in general was cry wolf, except what villagers got instead of a wolf was a small group of invaders. Thanks to her preparations the villagers were ready for the attack, though there were a few casualties as she had killed a few sheep in the process to make it more convincing.
After this Rita gained a reputation within the kingdom and was often looked towards from strategist of the kingdom for advice when they were stumped about a tactic. Sadly she did not see an unfortunate accident happen when she was invited to see a fortress being built. During her visit a large rock had fallen on her, killing her instantly.

Other

Rita doesn’t care much about who gets hurt in her pursuits of victory, she tries to keep the casualties to a minimum but with every plan at least on person or creature ends up being killed.

Sven was only confused by the answer he was given. So they weren't asking for help from others because they wanted to keep this in japan only? Was that what he meant? Sven just couldn't wrap his head around it. "Well whatever, I'll be bringing a friend along tomorrow anyways, he should be able to help." Sven said as he started to sew his head back on. Once he finished doing so he was one of the last people to leave as it took him awhile to sew his hat back on.

Once he finished he put on his coat and tried his best to cover his neck before leaving. Once home he made a quick phone call and started to explain the situation to an employee of his named Sho Nakano. For the most part he that Sho would have a better idea about the japanese legend stuff. One thing that Sven was not knowledgeable about.

The next day Sven came by the shrine. This time he had with him a bag, it had thread in it and a needle, along with a few packages of dried meat. He knew it was kind of early and some of the other people may have come forgetting to eat breakfast from the excitement. "Hope you don't mind, but I brought a friend of mine along, his name is Shou, should be a good help to us." Sven said with a smile to the others. "Oh and if anyone forgot to eat something this morning I brought some dried meats with me." Sven added taking out a package of jerky.

As Sven took out the jerky he noticed Tanikawa had also appeared in a bit of a frantic look. "Woah kid, calm down a bit, you need to explain whats going on to the rest of us, no point going into a portal with no idea of a goal." Sven added, hoping that Tanikawa would listen to reason.
