Damn looks like I'm tiebreaker. I vote for male mostly because it seems everyone has some experience role-playing as one. As for appearance I think we should leave it ambiguous so everyone can have their own image of the character. Thoughts on this?
I start the 25th so this Tuesday.
I don't think we are ready for IC just yet. But when the time comes I would be happy to take the first post as long as no one objects.
Romance sounds okay but let's take that sort of thing fairly slow so everyone can get there own feel for the character and how they want to react to them when it's there turn.
As for dramatic changes. Absolutely! However let's have only one huge thing going at a time. Like for instance one post we can't have a enemy kingdom invade and the next a massive meteor is careening towards the palace!
Also I think we can start developing the character. First male or female?

"Well it's good to meet you miss a friend of the doctor is a friend of mine!" Ben said to Autumn. "Now I take it your here for the bed right Name?" Ben asked turning his attention back to the doctor. "Right! Sorry we don't have much time we got a busy night ahead of us." Name responded in a more business like tone. "Alright just step on in and take a look." Name turned to Autumn, " Can you wait out here for a moment Kido? I won't be very long." Name said walking into Ben's room.
"You got to be kidding me." Name said dumbfounded starring at what his friend was trying to sell him. "What it's comfortable it's what i sleep on full moon or no." Ben responded. "Well sure but you kept telling me you had a bed to sell. A bed." Name said still looking at the patchwork poorly sewn beanbag chair his friend was sealing him. "Well maybe bed was a little gracious but trust me you'll get several good night sleeps on this thing!" Ben responded enthusiastically. Name thought to himself "God it reminds me of the one me and Nate had in med. school!" Looking down he saw a familiar shaped stain on the bottom "God it probably is the same bag!" Now talking to Ben Name said "I'll be honest buddy. If I had any other options i'd probably leave right now. But I don't so here is my offer, 20 bucks and you take it up to my room." Ben answered, "25. And you come visit me once I get settled in deal?" Name not wanting to argue agreed and the two men shacked hands. Name handed him 25 dollars said his goodbyes and walked back into the hallway.
As soon as Name returned Autumn started tugging on his pant leg and introducing him to a young blond man who was struggling to keep up with the exited young girl. Name looked down into Autumns happy blue eye and heard her ask him to let Blitz come with them. Name told her "OWW alright nut only if he wants to." Name said with a smile. He was glad to. It was always Nice to meet a new member of the inn.
Name extended his hand towards the stranger and said warmly, "Dr. Stanley Name. Nice to meet you!"

First they went downstairs to a residents room a werewolf named Ben. He and Name were good friends and they tended to get along when they were around each other. Through their latest conversation he mentioned how he was going to move back into the human world now that his pack was no longer at the inn. He was selling some of his old things including an old bed.
He rang the doorbell and waited a few moments holding Autumn's hand. "Dr. Name! How the hell are ya!" Ben greeted warmly embracing the Name tightly. "Good pal... umm Ben? Your hurting me." Name said low on breath. "Huh? Or sorry there doc. Forgot that you weigh less then a scarecrow. And who's this little bat?" He said jovialy looking down at Autumn.
