As Wes finished paying and then accepting the food, he was almost sure that the plan hatched by Miles and Leah wasn't successful. And apparently, it wasn't. Well, he definitely called that. What was successful, however, was whatever Miles just pulled judging by a now shocked CJ whose face was progressively brought up from the phone she was holding - the shock was also shared by Colette, apparently. CJ approached them and spoke: "It's so nice to meet you guys in the flesh."
"Same to you! Uhm, I mean, it's very nice to finally meet you as well," Leah said politely with a slight tint as she was brought into a hug by CJ. Although her facial expression was completely blank, Wes could tell she was most definitely happy. He took a sip from the coffee he had just purchased as Miles was next to receive a hug, "Hey all. It's really, really nice to meet you." Another sip.
Oh god, she was going to hug Wes, wasn't she?
Well, it was to only be expected. As he was hugged by CJ (and then Colette, shortly afterwards) he was could only wonder what the employee was thinking right now. Eh, screw him.
After the group had made a rather large enough scene, Ivy couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"Oh man, I can't believe the look on your faces right now," she said, referring to CJ and Colette. Miles couldn't help but wonder what the hell she meant as judging by the look on his face. "Oh, sorry," she continued, taking a sip of her drink, "I noticed Leah and Wes the second they walked in. Anyway, nice trick you guys pulled on us. Care to have breakfast before we head over to Comic Con?"
"Definitely," Miles said with a smile before heading over to Ivy. Wes held up the bag of donuts to Leah, CJ, and Colette: "Shall we?"
