Chris' sneakers squeaked as he turned to a girl's voice he heard. He took in the girl's appearance next and was quite surprised. She had sheets bundled in her hands, and her hair, well her hair was the interesting part. The girl's hair was made of water... So Riverwood was the real deal then huh? "Do you need help?" The girl asked, Valentine nodded and smiled politely, "um yeah. I just got here, and judging by your hair I'm assuming I'm in the right place? I'm a mutant too." Chris had never said the word mutant aloud, it felt foreign on his tongue. That's what he was though wasn't he? He was just some sort of freak, and the world isn't too kind to freaks. Well, he wasn't too kind back to be honest. How many people had he killed? Too many, it wasn't his fault though! They were trying to kill him, that made it justified right?

Changed Tony's power for the final time, I finally chose one that I have familiarity with and I have role-played with before. Sorry for the inconvenience if I caused any by doing this...
Tony chuckled at Marcus' enthusiasm, "easy boy, don't go rushing about blindly looking for a fight. Patience and strategy wins a fight. The underdog always wins if he can outsmart his opponent." He kind of regretted saying this, it made him seem smart. "But yeah, lets crush some skulls while we have the chance! Fighting is the reason we're here right?" There, that made it seem more normal. Tony turned to see Ryan rudely intrude on their conversation. "Calm down he won't actually fight anyone yet, but I believe Eris is 6 if I remember correctly."

Tony finished and threw his tray away, returning to Marcus he sprawled himself out in his seat and continued the conversation. "That would suck.... If we were paired with other council members wouldn't we be too strong? We would only be able to fight other council members."
A teenage male sat in the shadowy corner of a local coffee shop. People inside seemed to ignore him, or even notice him for that matter. That's a good thing, because if one looked closely at the young adult, they might notice that he was a mutant. Little particles of sand hung statically in the air around him, barely noticeable. Christopher Valentine was on a mission.
The young man had heard that Riverwood Academy was nearby and he was searching for information about it. He had been there all morning and it had taken quite a while to hear where it was. Valentine left the shop briskly, finally, he had made it. Being on the run for a year had been brutal. The X-Force was always on his ass. He still had nightmares of the people he had to kill in order to escape. Chris noticed that the X-Force was not keen on using non-lethal ways of capturing mutants, that didn't care if they died.
Valentine finally found the school and was filled with relief, the running was over. He was never so glad to see a school in his life. Chris walked inside and looked around, hoping for some guidance. He hoped they would be as welcoming as hoped they would be. "Um, hello?" he called out, the placed seemed quiet.
Tony chuckled, "yeah that's probably not the best idea. How about we wait till tomorrow? Speaking of fighting, I heard this year they might introduce group battles. That would be sick, as long as I didn't get stuck with a shitty partner that is" Hart plowed through his food, the guy could eat.
Chris will be arriving at the academy shortly :P
Tony sauntered over to the line where they were serving lunch. He piled his plate high with food, needless to say that Tony enjoyed eating. He looked around for familiar faces and manage to pick Marcus out of the crowd. He had no idea he was drunk so he walked over, "mind if I sit here?" he asked.
