Fred & Søren
Location: Mason City, Iowa

It had taken them too long to get to Mason City since the last town they were at and the pair of friends were exhausted. They spent the last few days hiding out in the woods trying to scout out the area to see if there were any walkers left, but luckily for them there weren't any spotted. Walkers though were the least of their worries as other living people were at times scarier than the undead. Those who were left living after the outbreak six weeks ago became scavengers and there was only one rules that they all followed; it was the survival of the fittest.

Thankfully Fred was a tall, muscular semi-professional athlete who was intimidating enough in stature that no one really messed with the pair. Søren, being a semi-professional athlete too, was also athletically built, but didn't have as much muscle as his best friend. He had the height to match, but his frame wasn't as wide. His brain though on the other hand, was a bit larger and much more cunning.

With their baseball bats in tow the two men slyly and cautiously walked out from the woods to the backyard of a fenced starter home. Søren gave his red-haired friend a nod of approval as they moved closer to the sliding glass patio door. Inching up to the glass Søren peered through the door, scanning the inside to see if there were any signs of movement. "Looks like we might be in the clear. On my go, I'll cover you."

"Got it." Fred said, tightening his grip on his wooden baseball bat. The man had a gun strapped to his back, but it would have made too much noise if it was shot and drawing attention was the last thing the two men wanted.

Søren waved his hand and pulled the sliding glass door with all his might, hearing the lock break as a screw or something flew towards his face. Like he was Søren's reflex though, Fred slipped inside of the house with his bat at the ready to swing. If anything was jumping out he was prepared to smite them down with all his might. Søren fixed his glasses as they were tilted from the force he used to open the patio door, tightening his own grip onto his metal bat as he stood behind his friend.

"You check out the living room, I'll see if there are any supplies in the kitchen." Søren commanded, nodding his head to Fred. "Don't check out the bedrooms yet, I'd rather have your back when we check the rest of the house."

"I know, I know." Fred said, knowing full well what the routine was when they checked out houses. "I did see a camping surplus store or something down the road though, we should probably check that out after this."

Søren nodded in agreement, surprised that Fred had actually been paying attention to their surroundings. "Alright, let's get this done first."

Don't worry about it. I know work can sometimes come outta nowhere.
Versailles
"To come together and live peacefully is a dream anyone can have, but here at Versailles, it is what we do."

Home is a place where you can feel safe and be at ease. Home is a place where there are no worries. Home is Versailles. The small, make-shift town was built after the infections spread across the United States. It is located on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, right off of the Mississippi River. To this day, two years after the outbreak of infections that wiped out three-fifths of the American population, Versailles still stands tall and strong holding her walls up high and opening her gates for those who ask for it. Though it might seem as if the people of Versailles are too kindhearted and naive of the world outside their walls, they do know better though. The leaders of Versailles will do whatever it takes to keep their families alive. They will defend themselves and do what is needed to survive because they want to ensure that their home is what they say it is, a place they can all feel safe.

In their walls, behind the barricaded, iron-clad fences, the people of Versailles are safe, outside of it is another story where anything goes.

What I am looking for:

  • Creativity; meaning I want someone who wants to help create a world full of colorful characters; Having multiple characters and being able to play them is a must too so having the quality to multi-task is important also.
  • Cooperative; being able to think alongside with me because this is a collaboration, not just a one-sided relationship.
  • Consistent; able to post at least two or three times a week, I don't need a daily thing, because I know people have lives outside of RPG. Obviously there will be times that we both are able to post more than two or three times a week and that would be pretty awesome to have too.
  • Fun; I want this to be a good experience for the both of us, I want us to both enjoy it. Fun also means chit-chatting in the OOC because I like to ramble and have conversations.
  • Trust; Being able to trust you and having you be able to trust me is something I want to build. Being able to have honesty in whether or not you are liking the direction we are going in or not is also something I want to have. If you want to leave, please let me know, if you're on a break please give me a heads up. Also don't be afraid to call me out on my bullshit.

If this interests you please post in this thread or shoot me a PM! I look forward to hearing from you! :)
Hello out there!

I am seeking a third person for a very small and intimate NARUTO ROLE-PLAY. When I say intimate I don't mean smut and whatnot, intimate as in close and personal! You will have to get to know me and like me. :B

I do have a second person who is willing to deal with me so you'll have to do the same heheh. I'm trying to find someone who is willing to cooperate and come up with a story, setting, conflict, and whatnot together too. This is a collaboration effort to help all three of us as writers and role-players!

If you are interested please shoot me a PM, that'd work best, or if you have any questions feel free to do the same!

Thanks for your time!
So characters, I'll be throwing up both of my dudes by Friday at the latest. I'm aiming for Thursday, but Friday is the last day I'm giving myself.

I'll again be out of town tomorrow so won't be able to actually get onto my computer to type anything out until Thursday so yeah that's why I said Thursday and Friday.

Makoto and Hinata will be up soon! I promise you this.

Other things we need to discuss, small details and whatnot, what should we name the school?
MAKOTO NYGAARD

The first day of his final year in high school was underway. Makoto was always carrying a cheerful grin, some people described it as a stupid smirk but the blonde boy figured it was a charming quirk of his. As he strutted through the halls he whistled a playful nursery rhyme knowing that having library duties during the first few periods of the day was a blessing. He could do what he pleased as long as he did his job at organizing the books and keeping things neat, that and not bothering the classes that were going on. Sure he needed to focus more on his studies for his college entrance exams, but he didn't want to worry too much about that since this was also his last year on the volleyball team.

This year he was going to help the team succeed in going further than ever before. He was a senior so he had to show the underclassmen that any dream was possible if they tried hard enough. A bit of blood, sweat, and tears never hurt anyone and he knew for a fact too many sweat and tears were wasted last year and not enough blood put into it. This year was going to be completely different as Makoto was going to help his best friend T.K. lead the team to victory.

As he wandered into the library with his stupid face and grin, he bowed, expecting to get a lecture for being late by the librarian, but to his surprise no one was there. He peeked his eyes open and slowly slid away into the aisles of the bookshelves. Makoto tapped the spines of the books until he came to a yellow hardcover titled The Sunflower Girl. "Sounds like my kinda girl," he muttered, opening the young adult book.

Once distracted by romance novels it was hard to get Makoto's attention off of it. The cure for that though, was always volleyball.

With that said, they are finally up! A pair of best friend. They are minor league baseball players for a team in Wisconsin, who are trying to get down south to see if any of their family members are alive!

Name:
Fredrick Carpenter

Nickname:
Fred, Freddy, or Red

Age:
24

Personality:
Outgoing and social are two words that can describe Fred extremely well. Even after the outbreak incident, the guy is still carrying on a cheerful demeanor and smile to help shine the way for his sulky polar opposite best friend, Søren. His face is always plastered with a stupid smile or grin. He is quite the charmer too, being very flirtatious towards women. Though he might seem like a gigantic airhead, he is deep down a genuine and kind man. He does his best to look out for Søren even though he knows his best friend doesn't need it, but there are times when being nice does favor them and Søren isn't the most caring soul at first impressions.

Before the Outbreak:
Fred was a star hitter and left fielder for the Conway Cowboys, a minor league baseball team from Wisconsin. Being a small town hero had it's perks as everyone knew who he was and they all loved and adored him. One of the pride and joys of Conway never got to Fred though as he was still humble and modest to everyone he met. He was always a happy-go-lucky guy but after the outbreak incident he had to become more hardened and face the dangers of the world. Life wasn't as sweet and easy as it used to be in Conway as Fred and his best friend Søren had to leave, trying to reach their family down south.

Weapon(s):
A Black Sheep Rifle; the gun was a gift when he moved to Wisconsin. It was supposed to be a gun so he could go hunting, a popular past-time in the Midwest, but Fred never really got to it as he was always at practice. He is a good shot having done some target practices throughout the years though. People shouldn't sleep on him.
