Welcome back.
That night was a blur. Everything had meshed together as the last thing Topher remembered was downing two shots of some spiced rum that Henry had bought for them and that was it. Now for some reason he found himself laying on a wooden floor, with his back stiff as hell and his head throbbing with a major migraine.
"Game?" He mumbled back at the voice that shouted nearby. "What are you talking about?"
"That thing on top of your head," another voice chimed in. "There's a green line on top of your head, plus a menu... Topher?"
Topher glanced at the second voice, it was another guy who definitely was younger than him. He squinted towards the kid, attempting to read the name that sat on top of his head.
"Daehwi," he replied. "It's a Korean name." Daehwi stood up and rubbed his neck and shoulders, wincing at the stiffness of his own body. "Something definitely isn't right here. My parents are going to freak."
Topher was dazed and confused, in a place that he knew he wasn't supposed to be, stuck with people he totally didn't know. But somehow the young man figured it wasn't going to end there.
