At first glance Ari has a lanky and slim frame, but underneath he is solid rock, having a sturdy physique from lifting weights for baseball and training to keep up with all the other top athletes. His stands coolly slouched, often with his hands in his pockets, with a style that can be considered high fashion as his publicist claims it is important for him to look young and fresh. It does help with his playboy antics that he is considered fashionable though, so there is a benefit.

Personality: There is being confident and then there is being vain. Ari is both, but the latter is shown more often than the first. He knows his worth and his abilities, which is why he can be unbearing to others if they don't know him personally. Ari has an attitude that is driven by the thirst of trying to reach the top and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get there. Deep down he isn't as outwardly confident as he seems, having a lot of self-loathe, hurt, and angst brought on by that attitude of his to succeed and be better than the rest.
Once you break down the barriers of his heart, mind, and soul, Ari can be a gentle man, who only really wants the people around him to accept him for whoever he may be. That is one of the reasons why Ari does what he does to try and be number one. Ari believes that if he achieves that then everyone will accept him, even if it's a mask he has to wear, because it's better to be loved by most, even at the cost of being hated along the way.
To his family Ari is the perfect son that they want him to be. He does what he is told without much hesitation, coming from years of reinforcement to listen. But of course, with the freedom he has now, Ari does things and gets into messes that he really shouldn't, doing whatever he can to hide it from his family. Image and reputation is everything for them, and if they knew half of the shit he had done, he would be disowned in an instant.

Arihito was born and raised on traditional values of his father and grandfather who taught him everything he would ever need to know. His mother, the silent rock that lifted him all throughout his life, taught him what real love was, which was one the thing he cherished the most. Ari's father was Takahiro, a chairmen of one of the largest importing companies in Tokyo, a position he had inherited from his own father, Shiro. With the Kaneko clan having a second generation on the board of Eastern Classic Imports, they were going to continue the tradition with the only son Takahiro was able to have in Ari.
Being raised by both his father and his grandfather's standards gave Ari a strong sense of direction. The road might have already been paved for him, but that didn't stop the Kaneko men from teaching and disciplining Ari in whatever they could. He was trained in traditional Japanese martial arts as a form of respect to his culture, also instilling a strong sense of discipline for the young man. Soon though, with sports becoming a major part of his life, Ari found a passion in baseball, something that surprised his family.
Training all throughout his time in school, Ari became an up-and-coming talent and was scouted and sought out after appearing in both the Spring and Summer Koshiens all throughout his high school career. Of course, Ari decided, or rather was forced, to attend university instead of entering into the Nippon Professional Baseball league. He was given an ultimatum of either attending university to finish his studies or to be disowned by his family and lose out to all the resources they had. To his luck though, he was able to attend Hosei University and continue baseball as it was one of the schools that were part of the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League, a collegiate league for the surrounding universities in Tokyo.
At Hosei Ari studied and graduated with a Business degree, by his families decree. After graduating Ari finally did something for himself, giving his family an ultimatum of his own. He wanted to join the NPB and play and would join the board of trustees and become a chairmen for EC Imports without complaint once his father was ready to retire.
Reluctantly and barely agreeing to his terms, both his father and grandfather agreed to them, allowing the young man to follow his dreams. He soon joined the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks as one of their many pitchers and has been playing since.

- In his second year of being part of the Softbank Hawks, he injured his arm, having torn a muscle. He recovered but is now secretly addicted to painkillers.
- In college he partied a little too hard and hung out with the wrong crowd. His bad partying habits and friends carried on over into his professional career.
- To keep in shape Ari does mixed martial arts.
