A surprisingly exhilarating breath escaped Kennedy's lips as his small survey team of seven trickled down Main Street. His uncle had decided that morning that it was time to explore the south side of Astoria, something they haven't focused too much efforts in as it laid in the territory of a man calling himself Midas. Most of Astoria was already ransacked, the town down to the bare bones of what used to be a beautiful, homely place.

Kennedy was obedient when it came to requests and missions by his uncle as he still wanted to be in his good graces. But times were changing and that meant that it was soon his turn to take his rightful place at the throne of Versailles. The man-made city that his uncle created and governed thrived, but they needed change. That something to put them on the map of the world and Kennedy knew that with his uncle's mediocre choices, nothing was going to happen unless he stepped up. This mission was the first step in his eyes, the step to something greater.

The Versailles survey team rounded the corner of Main and Dale when Kennedy threw a closed fist in the air, licking his lips and smirking at the sight waiting for them at the gas station. "Lucky day, I'd say." He whispered, motioning for two of his men to flank the right, three to the left, and stationing one at the corner with their sniper in hand. "I'll approach, don't fire unless I give the signal."

The man was extremely confident in his men, but believed in his own abilities more than those around him. For some reason the sight of the woman who basked aimlessly in the sun created a thirst in the man's throat that he needed to quench. Holstering his gun, Ken approached the woman with a playful grin plastered on his face as he neared.

"It's pretty dangerous for a small rabbit to be out here all alone, wolves are everywhere." Ken said with playfully. There was no fear in his face or thought if the woman was alone or not. All that mattered to him in this moment was the capture this woman alive. He put his charming face on and continued, "Mind if I have a chip?"

"Or I could just always be with you," Abe chuckled. "That way I wouldn't have any problem getting in or out." Again the Auror tried to put his flirt on, he just couldn't help that the witch was cute, extremely cute. Following her inside, the two were greeted by Santana with his cheeky grin.

"Find anything good?"

"Did find out that we're dealing with a XXXXX monster," Abram said sheepishly.

"Can't wait for the bad news then." His senior nodded, still with his grin intact.

"I'll fill you and all in." The auror sighed, "Is Rowan back?"

"She should be in soon," Santana replied. "Come on kid, I'm sure Salt is excited for the news." The handsome, senior Auror turned away and began his trek down the long hall, opposite of where Abram was heading with Claire.

"I'm gonna fill in Salt and I'll meet you back at your desk?" Abram nodded, turning back on his game face. He had plenty of time to flirt with Claire, but he did need to refocus a little and stop playing around.
