| {Appearance} |Standing at a slim 5 ft 6 and 122 pounds, Lexie isn't one to workout much but she still maintains a reasonably toned figure. Objectively attractive as a human, being turned only served to enhance her features. Naturally, she has long blonde hair, which she most often wears in loose waves but when at work will play with different styles, having it tied up in a variety of buns, plaits or ponytails.
Lexie has an infectious smile that she is constantly flashing when she's in a good mood. Her eyes are a combination between blue & green, and are probably her most notable feature. She has a few piercings - a double lobe in each ear and one helix piercing in her right ear. Although she does not have any tattoos, she's always wanted one.
Her style is pretty casual, donning a variety of jeans, shorts, crop tops and tshirts. She does like to get dressed up when she goes to parties and will usually put more effort into her hair & makeup on these occassions.

✩ Telepathy || Unfortunately Lexie is able to hear the thoughts of others, and impart her own thoughts in their mind if she so wishes. She seems to have an open communication with most humans and can find this hard to shut off at times. Other supernatural creatures can be more variable.
✩ Pain inducement || as part of her telepathic abilities, Lexie is able to inflict pain upon others, both physical and mental. So far this has only been limited to humans and usually weak-willed ones at that, or those whose defences are knocked out by alcohol/drugs etc.
| {Limitations} |The ability to inflict pain upon others is so far just limited to humans and although she can cause them to feel pain in the short term, as of yet she has been unable to cause any significant or long-lasting harm.
Her telepathic abilities don't seem to work on many of the more powerful or older supernatural creatures. It can also be very tiring to be in the heads of others and as such, she tries not to use it for too long (although she often finds that the thoughts of humans seem to just be on a constant speakerphone).
As with all vampires, she is susceptible to sunlight, stakes, vervain etc.

On a good day, Lexie is all charm and good humour. She knows just what to say to twist someone around her little finger, and despite her many flaws, has always found it surprisingly easy to get people on her side. A true extrovert, Alexandra hates to be alone and will always be seeking the company of others. Yet though she can make friends easily, its sometimes the keeping them that proves a damn sight more difficult. She doesn't like to take anything too seriously and will often tire of some of the older vampires more 'outdated' ways. Alexandra likes to joke around and make others laugh, particularly when she feels things are getting too solemn.
To their detriment, many often underestimate Lexie. She's incredibly perceptive and can notice minor things that others would miss such as a shift in facial expression or a broken habit. As such she is able to easily pick up on the hidden thoughts and motives of others (even without her telepathic abilities). If she were to put in some time and effort, Lexie could really become a formidable vampire, but that doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon.
All that is on a good day...on a bad day, well, it's worth taking a wide berth. She can be impatient, defiant and prone to risk-taking.
Lexie has been a vampire for just over three years now, a blink of the eye for her species, and it shows. She shows all the impulsiveness and recklessness of a new vampire, her to desire to feed usually taking over. She likes to joke that it is just a vampires version of 'hangry' but really it is a lot more sinister than that. She cares little for secrecy when she hunts or choosing her victims carefully. Its not only a practice that risks herself, but also that of her Coven and as such she is frequently toeing the line of what they will put up with. Basically put, Lexie does what she wants, when she wants and damn those why try and get in her way.

Jack. Sadly their mother had passed away when they were only two years of age, and Lexie barely recalls her at all. Meanwhile her father was the CEO of a large financial company and spent most of her childhood travelling around the world. Yet Alexandra once read that 21% of CEOs are sociopaths and has a high suspicion that her father was just that. He seemingly cared little for his children, viewing them as loud nuisances at best and, when they were old enough to argue back, taking to beating them at his worst. Jack would often tell Lexie to go hide, and take the brunt of his brutality on himself, but it often was not enough. Although he spent little time or effort on his children, their father still demanded the best from them, having no tolerance for a failed grade or a skipped curfew.
The solace of the siblings was that they spent most of their year at a co-ed boarding school near London. The twins were popular and well liked, getting on well with their fellow students and performing well in their classes. Unfortunately, when the two were nearing their eighteenth birthday, they fell in with the wrong crowd. At first it started out simply - playing pranks on teachers and driving off into the countryside to go drinking. However as time went on, their dealings became more sinister.
It is both the fortune and the downfall of the wealthy that they have easy access to...well, everything. Their friends were already rich but they were also greedy and impulsive. They wished to get more money and faster then their trust funds would allow. That's when they met
Huxley. Rich, powerful and charming, the 25-year-old had Lexie hook, line and sinker. He and his so-called family had made their money in the hotel business and had many successful franchises dotted throughout Europe. While that
was true, their real dealings took place in the dark underbelly of London, varying from dealing large quantity of drugs to 'quietening' people who had pissed off their customers. Lexie and Jack had a simple job, take drugs and sell them on to their rich friends. Easy, right? At first, yes. Their friends had money and far too much time to play with, so it really took no effort at all.
At 20, Lexie was enamoured with Huxley and would have done anything he asked, but Jack saw otherwise. The parcels they were given kept getting bigger and bigger, and he was scared they would get caught by the police, or worse...their father. The twins would argue about it constantly and stubborn as they both were, neither would ever budge an inch on the issue. It inevitably reached a boiling point when Huxley asked them to take a shipment overseas to France. Jack refused, and in a moment that would cost him his life, flushed everything down the toilet. Unfortunately for the two, their father still refused to grant them access to their trust funds, and as such they relied on him giving them money as he saw fit. This would not be one of those situations...
Now at this point, the siblings knew that Huxley was dangerous but they had no idea of the true extent of it. Huxley had been pondering on turning the twins for a while and their mistake provided the perfect opportunity. Revealing that he was a vampire, and a powerful elder one at that, was the start of a domino effect that would turn Lexies world upside down.
They were given a choice. Find a way to pay him back, or be turned. If they had known what being turned would entail, perhaps they would have said no, but there was also no way they would tell their father what had happened and so the pair reluctantly submitted. Lexie remembers little of the actual turning, save for the intense hunger that she still lives with to this day, but all she knows is that when she woke her brother was gone... She was furious at Huxley for what he had done but her need to feed eventually overtook even that. Over 200 years old himself, Huxley was an experienced hunter and she learnt well from him. But being with him was never that simple, and he expected her to contribute even more to the gang now that she was a vampire. After a year of service, she became fed up and ran away, fleeing to a place that she had heard the other vampires speak of in hushed whispers when their leader wasn't around... She fleed to Salem.
