Something lurks within Maysville, NC. From dead rats falling from the sky to statues moving at night, nothing here is what it seems. A strange allure keeps the town from realizing its true nature, citizens chalking it up to hallucinations or urban legends. Put your ear to the ground, and you can hear the town’s secrets being whispered in your ear.
On June 13, 2010, several citizens of Maysville disappeared in the near Hofmann woods for 72 hours. Nobody knows what happened in those unaccounted hours. They were spotted unconscious on June 17, at 4:47 am, everyone having a strange scar branded just below their collarbone.
