Didn't anyone tell you not to talk to strangers? Welcome!

It's currently 3AM where I'm at, and I can't seem to find any 1x1 checks that I'm into. I'm really picky, so it's definitely not you guys. So...I'm shoving my poorly developed ideas out there for all of you guys to see! Yay! (I promise I'll fix whatever errors there are later! There are bound to be plenty since it's so late.)

First, we have the rules. Sorry guys, I know. Boring Lotus has to have rules.

Rules!

1. Please let me know if you're going to be away and for how long. Life happens, sometimes you don't feel like talking or RPing, or you get eaten by a bear. I understand. I just check the Guild a lot and it wouldn't be fair to me if I kept checking and waiting for your reply while you're by the pool with a mini umbrella in your cup.

2. 18+. I just turned 18 so I know the bummer you must feel if you're under 18 and reading this right now. Don't worry! We can still RP! You'll probably just lie and say you're 18 but anyway... There just can't be anything above PG-13 in our RP. If you're 18+...sorry you had to read all of that.

3. OOC chats! This isn't a rule, but I really do love chatting beyond the RP. We can plan there, you can tell me about your day, I can tell you about how badly I want to get a chinchilla. Whatever you'd like to talk about, I'm 100% down! We can use whatever platform you'd like to chat out of our RP.

4. I don't really like to play males, but that doesn't mean I can't do it.

5. I prefer to RP on the Guild (in PMs), but if you really don't want to, just let me know and we can figure something out.

6. I just had to have an even set of rules. If you have any questions about anything, just let me know either here or in a PM.

It's been a while since I've actually done an RP, so let me know if I'm missing any cliches from that list.

Anyway, I've been thinking about a few plots. I'd be more than happy to plan them out even more with you, or jump straight in and build it as we go along.

Meet Me?

Okay so I haven't thought this one out very well, but here's what I have so far.

YC is a famous blogger/youtuber/whatever, and MC also has their own channel/blog. They're best friends over the internet. They know everything about each other from favorite colors to deepest secrets. But what would happen if they were to meet?

It's a pretty fluffy plot, so if you really want that, let me know. We can put a twist on it too, like someone gets hacked or information gets leaked. Or...someone could be catfishing the other person. Or a superfan would see the two out in public together and try something to hurt somebody. Who knows?

Artsy

This one has been a thing for a while, but I haven't gotten a chance to really play it out with anyone. Hopefully you like it!

MC is a driven young artist who focuses only on her work and schooling. She got into the best art academy in her area, which wasn't surprising considering her family is riddled with famous artists. With pressure from her family, a strict father and a distant mother, she plans to escape and get away one day. But something is keeping her in her rainy hometown. One morning, she meets YC and is instantly attracted to the stranger who is completely different from her. Charming, witty, and a little bit dangerous, she can't stay away. While she discovers herself and who she wants to be, something devastating reveals itself and stands in the way of what she wants. How could she still be an artist...without being able to see? How could she be anything? In a final attempt to free herself from a life she doesn't want, she turns to YC to help her step into a world she's never experienced.

So if it wasn't explained very well in the plot, MC, the young artist, develops a degenerative eye disease that effects her vision. It's up to YC (a teacher, model, or even another student) to help MC through what she's going through and help her live the way she wants to live...and maybe escape with her. It's fluffy but it's also a little sad. Kind of John Green-esque.

Lotus flowers are just my favorite flower and Dark Lotus was the first user to come into mind.

Hey everyone! I'm Dark Lotus, or you could just call me Lotus. I used to have an account on the Guild a long time ago. After a year or so of not roleplaying, it occurred to me that maybe I should take it up again and start fresh. So here I am!

A little bit about me and some things I'm into are:

-I live in the USA. 'Murica.
-I really like personality tests. I don't know why.
-I like drawing (I'm thinking about drawing any OCs that I'll create in the near future instead of just grabbing a pic off of the web.)
-I'm a HUGE Voltron: Legendary Defender fan.
-I'm a psychology major, so I guess that's a thing.
-Memes. Mama loves her memes.
